I’m a Chipotle fan like a lot of other people. However I’m not a fan of this particular location. The primary reason being the portion size. Whenever I come here, they like to stuff my burrito with rice and give me very little of everything else. So, when I request little rice, they assume that means very little of everything else(which it does not). When they started making my burritos as thin as a fruit roll up, that was a BIG problem. Especially when I see them jam pack burritos for others. Then when I ask for a little more, they’re quick to tell me that«It will cost extra.» Ummm, NO! I’m not paying extra for literally 2 or 3 additional cubes of chicken. But in addition to the chintzy portions, the workers behind the counter aren’t the most professional bunch people. Too many times they seem to be more engaged in entertaining each other than fulfilling orders and moving customers through the line. While it seems like they changed their staff to a new crop of team members, this group is just like the last when it comes to moving things along. It’s not a priority. Overall, I just don’t like this location. Although it’s the closest to me, I’d just rather go around the corner to another location where I know that I’ll get better customer service and a quicker line experience.

It’s so weird. This Chipotle is in a great location with so many great choices to eat around it. But the odd thing is that with such a great location, the service is not up to par. You’ll get what you need here but things don’t seem to put together as it should be. Today I bought a veggie bowl/salad from this location(I’m a vegetarian) and found pieces of chicken in my bowl. :/

while it is appreciated the turnaround of staff, it may be better if not everyone at the restaurant gets replaced at once so often, causing constant delays – and perhaps a policy which doesn’t allow for big online orders to be taken by new staff, and even worse, not ahead of the people who are already in line… today, I spent 20 minutes at this place enduring all of the above, and finally left when I noticed two cashiers could not check out a big order, which would have caused my delay to extend even further. office people normally have an limited period of time for lunch.

Annoyed… Wife and I got sick last week and after talking to corporate thought it was a fluke. Got food again and the guac($$$) has huge split pits in it… Hey Chipotle between your national food poisoning campaign and my last two trips here, you cured my weekly trips for burritos.

Employees are too interested in playing and talking instead of working and being professional. I would think with all the bad press that Chipotle has had, the company would try to improve their public image. Recently, i placed an order and the employee presented my drinking cups to me while placing his hands inside the cups. When i asked for new cups he appeared surprised and confused. Disgusting!

This Chipotle is clean and very well run. All employees speak English clearly and are willing to help customers and explain items. I watched a young employee walk through the items with an older gentleman — very patient. Management seems to be going an excellent job. It is not way overcrowded either. The staff seems to enjoy each other. Very pleased with fresh food and service and atmosphere.

This new location is the best in the area. The line moves pretty fast, and they have a sneeze guard which keeps the area soccer dad’s from sticking their fingers directly in the food they want(can’t seem to understand why people do this).

It’s always nice to have a new, easily-accessible Chipotle(as well as inferior brother-store, Shophouse) in the neighborhood. Ample parking, friendly staff, delicious food, clean tables inside and out, and last but not least – TABASCO not Sriracha! This location is rather new and doesn’t seem to be as packed as other locations I’ve been to. Easy in, easy out!

Chipotle = awesome. This specific chipotle needs a little help. Chips are stale, my request to put sour cream on the side are completely ignored, and the meat consistently tastes burnt. It’s located right around the corner from my office, so I keep hoping it will be better next time, but this is the 3rd visit in a row with similar results. Hope they get it together soon!

I love this chipotle because it’s the only chipotle I’ve ever been to that never has a line. The staff isn’t as fast as you would see at other chipotles but like I said, it’s probably because they don’t have to be due to the lack of lines. There is also a nice outdoor patio at this location and a great froyo place next door.

The food is great, but the staffing at this location is so awful you will be better served(no pun intended) by driving six more minutes up Rockville Pike to the other Chipotle. The staff here can’t manage the line: crazy long lines all the time, constantly out of ingredients, and the customer service is horrendous. And I mean horrendous! Chipotle management, please fix this location, it is killing the usually amazing Chipotle experience!

I went here on my lunch break one time and something was kind of off about the rice. It had no flavor what so ever! The customer service is good though. They move pretty quick in there with people’s orders. Not bad actually.

The«current location» is where I’m at now & the review for my last few visits are for here. Last Thursday: The Wonder Twins & crew since my last visit was working again today. I was rushing with a greedy appetite so I placed my order from their App. As soon as I walked in no less than 5 minutes, they greeted me & told me they were bagging my order! The crew is young looking but their manners & customer service rocks! This location makes it easy for me to hop off the train, grab my food & head home. I did a quick check over on my order & as always, good to go. What a quick, cheap & healthy way to chow down & watch my ABC shows tonight!

Although I’m a big fan of Chipotle, I’m NOT a fan of this location. The primary reasons are because of the extremely slow service and the incredibly chintzy portions they serve. Whether it’s the middle of the day or 10 minutes before they close, every time I go to this location, the service is EXTREMELY slow. Why? I have no idea. There are plenty of people behind the counter, yet many of them don’t seem to be focused on getting people in and out of the restaurant. As far as portions are concerned, can you say chintzy? This is the only location I’ve ever been to where they don’t even put enough rice in the bottom of the bowl to cover it! So if they’re stingy with the rice, you know they’re going to be stingy with everything else. Then when you ask for a little more, they’re quick to tell you it’s going to cost extra. Those are the primary reasons why I rather go to another location. Although it’s a little inconvenient seeing how this one is close to home, I’d rather go to a location that offers fair portions and faster service.

Love chipotle. I go on binges and then need something new for a while. But I always come back. Great taste but make sure you read their website and see what the nutritional details are. You will be surprised at the fat and salt content on some of the items. I typically always get the bowl since the shell is so fattening…

In terms of food, I thought everything was pretty much decent. Chipotles tend to have good systems in place to satiate the urge I get to have inauthentic, mass-produced brick-sized burritos. It happens every now and again. A matter of human nature… Service was quick, vegetables were fresh, and everything was well prepared. The music that this site plays, however, is utterly terrible. No one likes overly repetitive new age music with heavy back-beats and uncreative choruses. Even fewer people like it when this kind of music is blared from overpowering loudspeakers. Teenagers ran away in fear of this music. The elderly gnashed their teeth and destroyed their hearing aids. My meal was totally ruined by sounds that would break even the most resistant prisoners of Guantanamo Bay. I may return to Chipotle again, but never to this Rockville location.

It’s a perfectly fine Chipotle — you know what you’re going to get. However, we did have the bonus of a server who dropped a generous dollop of guacamole on my burrito bowl. You never know — you could get lucky too!

Online order frustration! I ordered online for a group of coworkers and won’t be doing so again. They hadn’t even started my order when I arrived and made a big fuss about finding it. It took several minutes for them to figure it out, ignored me, and then forgot the chips that were part of the order. Qdoba may not have a handy online ordering system, but at least I don’t leave there frustrated enough to write a Unilocal review before I finish my lunch.

My alltime patented favourite is the burrito bowl! Quick service, good quantity and I make it extra spicy. When I dont feel like cooking and yet want to have a good affordable meal, I will go to Chipotle‘. Sometimes the noise level is too high but then the place is casual and its expected!

After waiting in line for 10 minutes with my 3 year old, I asked for a quesadilla with black beans for my son. They said they cannot put black beans in a quesadilla, only meat. I asked why and they really did not give me any reason, the girl just put the cheese in the quesadilla and asked me what else I wanted. I asked again but just got the answer«We cannot do that, we can only put meat in quesadillas» I said I did not want anything and walked away. We went to La Madelaine and had a wonderful sandwich. How horrible you cannot get something as simple as a quesadilla with black beans! I am never coming back. Baja Fresh and California Tortilla have NEVER given me problems with simple requests like this. They always make my special burritos and quesadillas with ingredients that my son likes. How hard is that?

I used to hate Chipotle with a passion, until I moved to the DMV. Why come here for«Mexican» food when I had hole in the wall places to go in San Diego?! Since there aren’t many places for Mexican around here(head to Taco Bar if you can!), sometimes you find me at a Chipotle. This particular location is close to my work, about a 10 minute walk. Lunch hours(11:30am-2pm) are super busy. But like all other Chipotles, the line usually goes by fairly quickly. Make sure you speak loud when you place your order, or you’ll end up with something you don’t want… like corn salsa! The lady put corn salsa on my barbacoa bowl and after I told her that I didn’t want it on there, she scooped it out with her hand! Ummmm NO! Yes, she had gloves… but still! N O! If I would have known that she was going to do that, I would have just left the darn corn salsa in there. HELLO… big NONO! Other than the proximity to where I work, this Chipotle is just like any other.

For years I refused to patronage this particular location because of some bad treatment we received from one of the managers, but within the last year or so I have returned mainly due to it’s convenient location(that jerk doesn’t work there anymore) . The quality of the food they offer is always fresh(and I believe organic?). I usually get the salad, burrito bol or a burrito(in that order of preference). Interestingly enough all of those come with rice, which includes a hint of cilantro; that even I, a life-time hater of cilantro, can live with. When ordering the salad make sure you get their tangy/spicy dressing(which they often forget to add if you are ordering online/iphone), it really makes the lettuce a lot more enjoyable. I usually don’t get their chips because I find them sort of bland and you don’t get enough salsa to dip with(qdoba & caltorts chips reign supreme). A tip: if you enjoy quesadillas you can order those as well; they are just off the menu. They even have a kids size portion which is cheaper. Lastly, I highly advise using the online/iphone ordering system chipotle has, it saves you time and you avoid yelling out your directions over the noise/music the place oftentimes has. Also, I find when ordering online the portion of everything is overflowing my container, so don’t be worried about them skimping out on anything.

I love Chipotles. But let me explain that a little more. I love Chipotles EXCEPT for this one at this particular location. They all cost the same wherever you go, but the difference is, here, they totally skimp you on everything. I usually get a burrito bowl at the one in Bethesda(right by work) and it usually ends up weight a pound. Today, we were too lazy to make dinner and wanted something super fast, so we rushed to the Chipotles in Rockville. Had to ask them for extra rice TWICE and in the end, the bowl was as light as a feather. It hardly filled the top. There was more lettuce in the whole thing than rice or meat put together. What is this? Are we trying to ration or something? Is there an impeding depression on the way? Is the economy really that bad that you can’t give me at least a spoon full of rice? I know people are starving in Somalia, but so am I dammit. And I expect to get what I paid for. Not half a meal. Not half a meal for even elves.

I need to take exception with the review that it is hard to order at Chipotle, this is just not the case. Allow me to explain: 1) Do you want a burrito, hard tacos, soft tacos, a bowl, or a quesadilla(not listed but they are available)? 2) Do you want pinto beans, black beans, or onions and peppers in your above listed carrier? 3) What kind of meat do you want? Chicken, Steak, Shredded beef, or shredded pork?(Secondly do you want double meat for 1.50 more?) 4) Do you want Guac?(1.50 extra) Cheese? Sour Cream? Mild, Medium, or hot Salsa? 5) Do you speak Spanish? If so then feel free to do so. Oh you don’t? Then don’t do so with a gringo ass accent! You insult the staff members, you slow up the line, and you piss me off when you say«lech-u-ga» and smile like a fat girl in a sweating contest. And that is the procedure. If there are any language barriers, it is ok to gesture or point, but please don’t reach over the sneeze guard. And be nice please. There, now that that is out of the way, time to review my «local» chipotle. Everyone has been to Chipotle, so this review is simply about the Rockville Pike location only. Staff– pretty good. The two managers are both nice. Occasionally the guy on the shell part of the assembly line is a dick, but w/e. Meat– they usually give you the full scoop without any prodding. I always smile and try to be nice, and I do think it helps the serving sizes. When getting double meat, I think it works best to order regularly, then«spontaneously» say«oh, in fact I will get double meat», to ensure you get your true original scoop, then another. Line– sometimes very long here as it is in a busy complex, and also right next to a gym. On the whole a good Chipotle.

When I got the bill for my steak ‘burrito bol’, fajita style(their fancy term for no tortilla, and peppers and onions instead of beans) and soda, I nearly spit. Coming from California, Chipotle is amusing. The restaurant chain never gives you a chance to forget that everything is organic! Everything is ‘fresh’! Everything is blah blah blah. Tell you the truth, the food is not bad. The taste is acceptable, and the service behind the counter was not bad. What it isn’t, however, is a good value. If you’re desperate for Mexican style food in the area, hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. Generally overpriced, small tiny portions unless you ask for extra everything, and to top it off? Overzealous seasoning of meats.

At first I was thinking three stars, but as I polished off my second of three tacos I thought to myself: «This is really good!» I always thought all you could get at Chipotle’s were burritos because of their logo. If I hadn’t been so inattentive to details I would have notice their tag line says burritos & tacos! The food was fresh; the service great(Hey Mr. Manager, give your employees a raise!). I loved their guacamole($ 1.50 more as an add on). It was chunky, not whipped like some chains serve it. I was full after two soft tacos, so now I have a snack for later. Cool beans!
