Very courteous, i felt very welcomed! Did a great job with my pedi/mani. Can’t believe they only have 2 star. how dare these people. certainly coming back. Im usually skeptical of trying new spot. Oh & very clean, organized & good wine.

They rushed me in and out so fast that they did a awful job on my nails. I had my nails dipped, they only dipped them twice on my left hand and three times on the right. My nails were so thin but he assured me they won’t break, that the dip was stronger and didn’t need as much. Six days later my thumb nail is broken. Forty dollars out the window!

I came in a few months ago for an acrylic fill with gel on top, and was«blessed» with Cindy as the nail tech. She left the length of my obviously grown out nails and when I asked if she could shorten them, she used her nail file and shortened them almost to the point where I was bleeding. Then she got a phone call, and stopped what she was doing to talk to whoever for 5 – 10 minutes, while I’m sitting unable to even use my hands. Not only was the experience bad, but my nails looked terrible as well. The acrylic was caked on and the gel was so thick, it dried while it was running down the nail causing a bubble look that I didn’t notice, unfortunately until after I got home, which was too late to go back and get it fixed. And with my work hours was unable to go back on a week day, it was then that I decided to find a new nail spa.

Um yeah no. As everyone knows, I’m a mani-pedi ho. I go religiously every two weeks and am pampered and loved on at The Salon Nail Spa. I love it and I don’t mind this being my one frivolous thing. My absolutely fabulous mother in law goes to this nail joint in Rockwall(I hesitate to call it a «spa») and she invited me to come along with her this past Sunday at noon. Being the amenable young thing I am, I agreed and decided it would be ok to cheat on Andy just one time for the sake of spending time with Ms. Fabulous. We arrive and head in. We are the second and third ladies in the door and we head to our chairs. She likes to have her nails and toes done at the same time(I usually like to do it separately so I can milk this event to it’s fullest), but s’ok, I’ll go along. She tells them what we want and they seat us in chairs. Her two people get started on her and I sit with my wet feet and wait and wait and wait. Other ladies are coming in the door and other worker bees are starting on their services. Finally, once it looked like all the worker bees in the joint got busy, a girl comes shuffling into work from the back room and looks horrible, wearing old sweat pants and a tshirt and shuffling feet. She walks up to me(purse still in hand) and says she’ll do my fingers but not toes because she can’t sit down she’s had surgery. Oh-kaaaay. Then she disappears for the remainder of the time I was in the«salon». Finally after at least another 20 minutes a man begrudgingly comes over and starts on my pedicure. Rough, quick, not pleasant. About ¾ the way into my «pedicure» the four women who are all doing pedicures on other people who came in after me start talking really loudly in Vietnamese, then started and looking and pointing at me and laughing. «Oooooh nobody did your manicure!!!» *laugh laugh laugh*. Red faced and embarrassed, I said loudly«I’m not getting my nails done here» and stared at the laughers. They shut up. *fume* Really? You gonna laugh at me for coming into your«salon» and asking for a service and then you ignored me??? Oh hellllllll naw. I’m sorry, I’ll never go back, and I’m sorry Andy for cheating on your this one time. *sadface*

Went in there yesterday for the first time for a pedicure. The woman who worked on my feet cut into several toe cuticles very deep and they were almost to the point of bleeding. The water in the foot tub was never changed and became dirty so I finally asked her to stop and rinse out the basin. Before she could finish the pedicure I asked her to stop about half hour into the process. I told her not to apply polish because I did not to risk infection on the cuticles that were cut. I was polite and paid, but will never go back to this place.

I want to like this place, but something has changed in the last year. It’s not relaxing but the techs talk loudly at each other like we aren’t even present. One of the techs is just rude. I keep trying it at different times but am now giving up on it. On my last pedicure, the guy sanded off my regular toenail polish instead of using polish remover. That didn’t seem right.

Wanted to try a new place. Unfortunately, did not think to look at Unilocal first! Awful. Awful, Awful. They kept insisting I needed to upgrade my services — I didn’t. Charged $ 10 for ridiculous«design». Another in my party had to have her nails done 3x as they couldn’t/didnt want to understand what color/style she wanted. She removed the color immediately once home.

The owner did my nails after I waited a good 20 mins cause another lady before me was using the same color. I didn’t mind waiting, however the guy with originally started my nails quit cause he didn’t want to wait. So when she finally got around to doing my nails she tore my cuticle so bad when she filed two of my nails. They were gushing blood. She put something on it to «stop» the bleeding. Needless to say that didn’t work. She knocked $ 5 off so she tried to compensate. However, I’m not fully convinced she knew what she was doing. She had to redo my nails a couple of times, not to mention I’ve had to fix something’s at home. I wouldn’t recommend this salon to my enemy, it was that bad!!! Stay away!!!

I did not prefer this place. The lady who did my nails was somewhat rude. I’ll try and find another place.

This is definitely not a spa, cindy did my nails and was on the phone in my ear speaking another language 50% of the time, the other time was spent talking loudly with the other employees, i came in with the intention of closing my eyes and relaxing, I could not do that and I couldn’t even hear the tv! I left feeling very frustrated!

The first time I went there for a mani & pedi. The chairs are great, staff was attentive. The second time I just had a manicure & it was the worst manicure I ever had. They did a sloppy job on my natural nails and the lady pressed on them to see if they were dry, thus mussing them a bit. Also, the staff do not know English very well, so they talk among themselves in Vietnamese. I like a little more customer friendly staff. Not going back. I just did a better job on my own nails using Sally Hansen’s French Manicure kit from Walmart.

Disgusting!!! A nail tech, almost cut a chunk out of my finger!!! Utensils looked dirty, and when my nails dried I noticed a hair embedded on my nail polish. I notified the lady who had done them, and instead of removing the polish and starting over, she came over and repainted on another layer to cover it up!!! Needless to say, I will NOT be going there anymore!!!
