I wish there were a way to give no stars. I purchased a rent to own bed from Aarons. It came with a brand new frame, and used box spring and mattress, as they said they did not have any new ones. After months of having the v lock covers that came with the mattresses on the bed, as they assembled for me, we had to take them off due to a coffee spill. In 2 hours time we noticed little red bugs crawling between the sheets. Orkin came out immediately the next morning and the professional opinion was given that the used mattresses had to be the cause of the infestation. We called Aarons immediately after that and two managers came to our house for inspection. They saw the bugs and took pictures. Then the two managers told me to take the bed out of my house, they even gave detailed instructions on how to do so. The main manager even made the statement that she refused to handle bed bug problems, that it was a home office problem and they wouldn’t send anyone out to move the bed themselves. I’m sure if I had missed a payment they wouldn’t of minded doing a repo however, like they were going to come and see bugs and then just decide to give me the bed? But we moved most of the bed outside, I say most as I am disabled, so is my husband, and my son recently was just released from the hospital with stomach bleeding. Aarons calls the next morning and then states that we are held responsible for the damages done to the bed from being outside, a $ 3000 bed might I add, and that we are responsible for the treatment to the house. Damages are in the thousands and this company and it’s managers are taking no responsibility. I plan on making sure everyone knows exactly what this company is doing to us until they see fit to help or take responsibility for there actions. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM AARONS!
