The lady took so much more time and effort than most employees to help me find what I wanted.

It’s Payless Shoesource. Only reviewing because I felt like the ladies here went out of their way to find the shoes(in the right size) that my son wanted. The fact it ended with a $ 4 off coupon for my «inconvenience» of having to drive elsewhere was just a bonus.

I did not like the young lady working there. She made my breif experience to buy shoes for my 5 year old son a nightmare. I brought my 22 month old and my 5 year old and we all know litte ones like to walk around. She kept notifying at out loud that he can’t be near the display or the window or whatever. She wouldn’t let up. I could hardly purchase a shoe when she kept scolding my boys. I was going to buy about 6 pair of new shoes for the kids but decided to only get one due to the uncomfortable experience I was having. I tried to stgay calm but she went overboard. I thought I was at Neiman Marcus or some New york boutique. I’m at payless for heavens sake. I own my own business and I wuld never do this to a mother shopping at my store. This 25 year old actd like she was pushing 80. So on my way out I asked if she had kids cus she was so cold. Sure enough kidless. I told he, «it figures that is why you drove me out of here.» She made a quick excuse that he cusomers bah balh balh. G to he’ll bitch! You won’t see me shop there.

I don’t even want to give this place one star. I had went to Payless in Santa Rosa on Sunday March 18th at the Plaza Mall and everyone there was super sweet, however they did not have the shoes I wanted in a size bigger. So I purchased the shoes anyways in case I couldn’t find any that would fit better. The lady at the front counter said that the store in Rohnert park had them and would hold them for me to go there and try em on. So I left Santa Rosa and headed to the Rohnert park location. Upon arriving, the BLONDE lady asked if I needed help. I said I had shoes on hold and she looked dumbfounded. Then the other lady said«oh i have them». The blonde lady handed me my shoes and told me I only had five minutes to try them on because the store was closing at six. Feeling rushed and having her following me around the store I just decided to get out of there. The blonde lady and the other clerk would NOT stop complaining about how they had to leave right at six and personal issues that a costumer should not hear. So putting on my shoes getting ready to leave two older ladies walked in. It was now only three minutes to six. The two older ladies walked in and greeted the employees asking how their day was. The blonde lady began to say quote on quote«IMGOODBUTIMNOTGOINGTOBESONICEINABOUTTHREEMINUTESWHENWECLOSE» I was SOOO shocked that this would come out of an employees mouth. I have worked in retail for a long time and you shouldn’t even be closing the store until after the STORE closes. First and foremost the CLIENT/COSTUMER is ALWAYSRIGHT.
