I have been meaning to write this review forever. Total Tan’s spray tans are the best in the area, and of anywhere I have found in the Triangle. Lisa does an amazing job. She uses the Norvell system, which gives a super natural color, think fresh from a weekend at the beach. I prefer the Norvell One because you can shower within a few hours. The Norvell spray tan doesn’t leave you as sticky as many of the others do. Lisa does a great job pre tan prepping. She lets you undress to your comfort level, comes back rubs cream on your nails and toenails and elbows and knees to keep them from getting too dark. She then sprays arms, legs, inner thighs, backside and then face. The tan always looks even and you never feel like you can’t breathe which I feel I do with the spray machines. After finishing the spray you are dried, and then dry yourself again to your comfort level. The tans are $ 30, but are more than worth it. My tan seem to slowly fade within two weeks. I never feel blotchy and Lisa knows all the tricks to keeping the tan healthy looking afterwards. She also always text to make sure my tan is still looking good a few days after, great customer service. I have tried many spray machines, spray tans, at home self tanners, self tanner towels, and Total Tans by far has the most natural looking color and the last the longest. Lisa always makes me feel comfortable and I cannot recommend her sprays enough. Also make sure to get in touch with Lisa ahead of time so she can fit you in when she’s there, as she’s the only one who does the sprays at the location.
