Walked in for the first time here having no expectations. Sat down and ordered immediately. Waitress was extremely friendly and asked to refill multiple times. My steak burrito came out in a matter of minutes and you could tell it came right off the oven. Tasted amazing. Will definitely be back here if I’m in the area.

I love their chicken flautas and steak burritos. They are super affordable and your food comes hot. And quick! Definitely, the best Mexican food in Romeoville by far. Seriously, the place across the street doesn’t compare.

This is our favorite local Mexican food place. We have ordered lots of things from the menu and everything has been excellent. The California steak burrito and fish tacos are our favorites along with the fajitas.

I have had numerous meals here and would rate it better if I was having tacos. Decided to try a tamale. They were out of the green tamales(chicken) so I went with a red one(pork). See pic. Ummmm… no pork in that tamale… SERIOUSLYNONE! Hard as a rock and tasteless. Do not waste your money on ordering one of these. Go with tacos or fajitas however sometimes they’re heavy with the salt.

Tasty burritos and super friendly service. Burrito is toasted on the outside and the steak is tender and seasoned. Great place!

Delicious soups!!! My fav would be the seafood soup but I also like the MENUDO… Id try a few items of their menu and haven’t been disappointed at all, the señoritas are very nice and friendly and the owner which I had the chance to meet is very welcoming as well… Definitely the best Mexican join around Romeoville, Crest Hill and the surrounding areas. Keep up the good work guys!!! Riquísimo todo!!!

Discovered this place one evening & it has become the go-to Mexican place! The restaurant itself is fairly small, but the food is authentic and delicious. If you chose to eat in, they will serve you complimentary chips & salsa. I usually get the California chicken burrito, junior size. It’s still a small football! They are very generous with the portion size and the food is truly delicious. My husband usually gets the steak burrito and nachos. We can typically get an order of chicken nachos, and two junior size burritos for under 20 dollars. The service is quick and friendly. You can expect your phone order to be ready in 15 minutes — yes, even on a Friday/Saturday evening. They also have a rewards system — take a card located near the register & sign up online. You will earn poinst with each transaction that you can redeem at a later time.

Went for dinner on a Saturday night… It was pretty packed had to wait for a table but that is understandable. Ordered a michelada which was actually pretty good. For dinner we had the steak burrito and a steak huarache. The meat was really good. The chips and salsa were a plus. And yes the salsa is not spicy but it was good. Overall very nice customer service.

Horchata taste like milk and vanilla with no cinnamon at all. Salsa tastes like marinara sauce. The people behind the counter took a long 5 minutes to ask if we wanted to eat here or ordered to go. Other wise the tacos were amazing.

«Leetttssss come herrre neeeeext weeek…» I was slurring my words right after we got in the car to head home. It all started when I needed to run two errands after work. One involved walking the entire square footage of IKEA to learn that the item I needed was, no exaggeration, the second to last aisle before the checkout lanes. So by the time I headed home, I was ravenous. The texting began. What do you want for dinner? Burgers or tacos. OK tacos. OK… WHERE? I currently live in Plainfield, and the Mexican options kind of suck. I wasn’t in the mood to make the trip to downtown Aurora or Joliet. UnilocalTOTHERESCUE! I sat at the stoplight(shh. tacos. it’s important) and quickly typed«tacos» and«current location» into my app. Burritos Mi Tierra? How have I NEVER come across this before? OK time to cut the crap: Wednesdays are ½ off margaritas. I like that the waitress didn’t screw with me and ask me which size. She delivered two jumbo margaritas to our table. These babies were strong and made well. The complimentary chips and salsa are a winner. We had fresh, hot chips and a variety of sauces. Try the green! They were happy to refill our chips too. The Chiles Rellenos were not so great. I have to admit, I have had better. The cheese needed to be slightly thicker, and the chiles were drowning in sauce. Next time I’m getting a Chimichanga. My husband had one stuffed with chorizo and smothered in piles of stringy cheese. I reached across the table and tapped the side of the chimichanga with my fork — it was perfectly crispy! He took half of it home and ate it for lunch the next day. Surprisingly, even the fries are good. They were sprinkled with seasoned salt and tasted like a thicker, less wimpy version of McDonald’s fries. The only other places that are on par with this are Burrito Parilla in Naperville, or Taco Diner in Bolingbrook, both of which are farther from home. Since we’re moving out of the area soon, we’ll be hitting up this spot again sometime this week.

Honest review: horrible this is the type of mexican restaurant that gives mexican food a bad name the type that people say dont go there it will get u sick. Nothing was good everything was horrible. I ordered a burrito and it wad the smalles burrito i ever seen in my life size wasnt an issue was the actual taste that pissed me off. The carne asada was so dry it was like chewing on cardboard it was completely tasteless didnt taste like anything so based on this it was probably really old. All my friends didnt like any of the food they ordered. The service was horrible he forgot our whole order kept coming back and being like what did u guys order write the shit down then! After we ordered we didnt see any of the waiters like no refills or anything i just got up and got our table refills. Then we were in a rush and said we needed the bill 30 minutes later she came back? Bill was like 60 dollars? Wont be back again wasted my hunger on garbage

Coming to this place I was excited to try it. I’ve driven past the billboard on Weber road for a while now. So, we walk into the restaurant and it seems small and kind of cramped. For a Thursday night it was busy though! Super happy about that because it usually means good food. We walk up to the counter and order some steak tacos, tripe taco dinner and two tamales. I wanted to sample a little bit of everything. Let’s start with the best thing… Ok the wait on the food let me just say was over 20 minutes. I didn’t mind as long as the food was good. However, it was not. I was extremely disappointed in this food. The tamales were made with that pre-made masa. The filling. There really wasn’t any. For the price I was expecting something decent. The steak tacos had a strange taste. I don’t know almost like spoiled meat? Not certain but it wasn’t good. The rice was bland as bland could be. The high reviews are shocking! Makes me wonder if the quality has gone down or if I’m in the Twilight Zone. Oh damn I missed the good about this place.

In town for a couple of weeks. Wasn’t sure if I wanted to try mexican food in the Chicago area? But being away from home I was having a mexican food jones. I ordered a carne asada torta with rice and beans. The chips and salsa was OK, have had better but can’t complain to much. The torta was pretty good, and I also enjoyed the beans. Wasn’t to fond of the rice. You have to realize, living in Los Angeles for 40 years, and Phoenix for the past 5 years. I have had some pretty good sonoran mexican food. That doesn’t include time spent in Mexico. So I am not saying their food is all that bad, but my expectations is pretty high.
