I’m a New Yorker born and raised and Raimondo’s has literally the best pepperoni pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Not to mention the service was very friendly and the calamari was great too. No joke I bit into my slice and just kept repeating«Oh my god…» out loud. My friend from Franklin brought me here and I will absolutely be back, but not after telling everyone I know that this is the best slice ever. Perfectly cheesy, crispy, a little greasy, not too thick/underdone, and the crust had amazing flavor too.

This is hands down the best pizza in upstate. Every time we are on our way up from the city, this is our go to spot. Very authentic Italian food coming from an Italian myself!

Had a slice of sicilian and regular and had to get some cookies and canolis for the road. Makes you feel like you just had pizza from an original sicilian joint back in the day.

Raimondo’s has a great new chef! Order from the specials that the waitress tells you about – not the ones one the menu addendum. The first time we enjoyed the special(about 2 weeks ago) it was a pistachio encrusted cod with artichoke hearts and bacon wrapped asparagus. Thought it may had been a fluke, so now on our second try, we can recommend the«special specials». Last night, a seafood platter that was delectable and a pork chop with scalloped potato, butternut squash and broccoli rob. The list of the ingredients does not do it justice, the flavors are just beautiful because the chef adds these little flourishes of flavor with sauces, spices and herbs. The wait staff was, as usual for Raimondo’s, fast, friendly and efficient. I do have to say that I don’t like plastic table covers very much.

The pizza was excellent. The wings were pretty bland and dry.

Raimondo’s is a very good, reliable small town restaurant. All the dishes I’ve tried are tasty and plentiful, staff is friendly, prices are appropriate. I’m always happy to go there when someone else suggests it, but it’s not special enough that I would eat there unprompted.

My fiancé and I stopped for a bite to eat and we had a dog with us, so we needed a place with outdoor seating. We stopped here and were greeted by a friendly waiter who brought our dog a bowl of water. I was looking for something healthy and asked our waiter for suggestions. I ultimately got a spinach salad with shrimp and the waiter asked me if I still wanted the bacon. I was very happy he asked, as it shows how accommodating and willing they are to meet their customer’s needs. Salad was crisp and clean, shrimp were tasty and nicely cooked. My fiancé got the Tuscan soup and a tortellini pasta dish, and he was very happy with his choice as well. Tuscan soup was full of flavor. Pasta was nicely done and a good size(but not overwhelming) portion. The complementary bread was warm and crispy on the outside. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a good bite. Oh, and prices were extremely reasonable. Our meal came to about $ 30 before tip. Completely worth it!

Lunch specials were under $ 8 including a well portioned chicken francese which was delicious. Also the espresso was good, despite it being spelled«expresso» on the awning.

Can’t speak for the pizza, but don’t make the same mistake we did. Just go to the diner. Would have been the same quality food at a third the cost and a tenth of the time. Took 20 min just to get the soup, and times two for the entrée, which wasn’t that great anyway.

This is one of just a few places to eat in Roscoe. They were very nice and stayed open very late to accommodate us. We were ravenous after being on the river for 10 hours. Veal, pasta and Cannoli were very good. I would eat here again. Two days later we did have lunch. Scisilian slices. Really fantastic.

We are very happy to have Raimondo’s nearby. Solid classic pasta and red sauce type of fare with AMAZING fresh bread, a friendly casual vibe, and very nice and attentive table service. Cannolis are also homemade and noteworthy. A great spot.

I’ve made the mistake of eating here three different times and have always been disappointed in the food and how overpriced they are. The last time I ordered a sicilain pizza to go and it was unedible. Do youself and your wallet a favor and go to the Roscoe Diner. After the pizza incident I swore I’d never go back and I haven’t.

It’s virtually impossible to find a good Italian restaurant upstate and this is it. Everyone talks about The Roscoe Diner but if they look to the left they will see this place nearby. It’s family owned and operated the food is freshly home made Sicilian style. The pizza is terrific– cheesy and hot. The service is friendly and efficient. Our waitress was one of the family and a pleasure. Bring your appetite because the portions are huge.

What a great suprise tucked away in Roscoe NY. Well made Italian food just like on Mulberry st. Nyc. All dishes were delicious.

Pizza is good and fresh(not laying around for hours). It was crowded but service was good. Better than expected given the crowd. Much better than the Roscoe Diner.

The food here is pretty good. It is a local place with good pizza and other traditional Italian food. The owners are friendly and always say hello when we drop by.

Not a lot of flavor in the food. Pizza is decent though. Service was young and inexperienced.

I can’t give them more than 1 star because of the garlic knots they served us. They were definitely a day or two old — very crusty, burnt on top, dried out, and I could go on. If you’re going to serve stuff like that and then you really have no business running a restaurant. The pizza was good enough and had fresh mushrooms and peppers which I liked but not enough to save us from the garlic knots. I found the whole vibe really odd — there’s a knick knack store in one corner, our server spent a lot of time at her computer on facebook, and there was another woman wondering around staring at us from time to time.
