Great place! Loved the beer and the pizza was good. Nice to have brick oven pizza. Perfect pair with great beer. We’ll definitely stop in again when we make it back from Oklahoma

Very laid back atmosphere. The clientele is very polite and surprisingly classy for Roseburg.
The brewery comes up with new beers frequently and their house-​made pizza made in their stone oven is delicious.
Our server was very polite. Although we had to go to the bar to order our food we were pleased with the service.

Grand ReOpening. Good beer good people! Thanks McKillip’s! Nice atmosphere. Music is nice. Its weird seening kids inside but hey! Its a famoly event. Ordered pizza cooked in neweer pizza oven. Delishous:)

Travelling through Oregon to Portland I had time to check out some local breweries on the way up. Backside was one of them, and I had a great welcome from the boys in the bar. Darren makes great smelling (I had already eaten) pizzas in the wood fired oven, and K.C. definitely knows how to put together some decent beers. Their IPA is good, and their Stouts were definitely to my tastes! So good in fact that I had to bring the wife with me for a second trip coming back down from Portland — and that’s saying something!

A nice little brewery tucked away off of Diamond Lake Blvd. they offer a nice variety of crafted beer and an array of local wines.
I highly recommend trying Backside Brewing out.
