Ringo Carpet Cleaning

Bought a groupon for a 6 room job. When I call to make the appointment the guy tries to get me to return it so I can pay him directly. That wasn’t an option for me and he was obviously very unhappy about that. So I make the appointment 3 weeks in advance because he is booked up. The day of the appointment he never showed up. When I called he said his machine was being repaired. So we reschedule a few days later. He calls me that day to ask if he could come earlier. I work so I said I really couldnt get there much earlier but I offered to call him when I get out to let him know. So finally we meet up and I show him the job and he tells me it’s more space than what I played for and he could do the whole thing for $ 30 more. I said we had to stay in budget. He raises is voice to me and says Sir I am only making $ 35 on this job and I’ve been waiting around all day for you, as if that were my problem. I calm him down and said he could skip a room and part of the stairs. Finally he gets to work. The job itself was fine, but hardly worth the frustration.

I bought a groupon for $ 49 for Carpet cleaning. The add states that a «dry steam technique» is used. A very nice man comes in with a machine like the one home depot rents out for $ 20 for 4 hours. He adds hot water from my bathtub to the machine and does his carpet cleaning. I’m not sure if he even used soap! I agree with previous reviewer, if you’d rather not rent this machine from home depot and do this yourself then it’s worth is for you. As for me, I could have saved my money and done this myself.

I bought a deal from Ringo Carpet Cleaning on Living Social. I was pretty excited, because on their website they claim to use dry steam technology. This guy shows up to our house with a machine that looks like he just rented it from Home Depot. (same as the Rug Doctor) My husband asked him about the dry steam technology on his website and he said «I don’t think that kind of technology exists.» If you want somebody else to clean your carpet so you don’t have to go to the trouble of going to ShopRite and renting a machine, this service is fine. If you’re expecting a professional carpet cleaning experience, go elsewhere.
