El pollo loco so bomb. You get a full chicken, fries, dinner roll and ranch on lettuce with a tomato (aka salad or there idea of a salad) for cheap as hell. Don’t mind coming here high as shit since the guys who works there look way more stoned than I do. Been going here forever literally since a child. Went this past Sunday. Never order anything other than el pollo loco special. Maybe I might have had a burger in the past or even chili cheese fries. But if it’s your first time get the el pollo loco.

Place is a dump, but who cares! Staff is friendly and attentive! They take phone orders and have a drive thru! If you’re a foodie like I claim to BE! The pollo loco is a must! It’s the Best! If you like Dino’s chicken, you must try this!!!

The first time I came here was in the 7th grade. I didn’t much money but I would scrounge up the $ 4 to get a Pollo Loco meal. I am now 36 years old and I still love coming here for their Pollo Loco chicken. Not many people know this but you can just get chicken. That is what I do as I try to decrease my carbs. Hey, a guy can try to be healthier right even at a non so healthy place.
I am a big lover of good salsa and I tell the guys each time I’m here that their salsa is probably the best salsa I have ever had. I keep asking for the recipe but they keep telling me it’s a secret. Believe it or not, the guy who always helps me at the cashier has been the same guy from when I first started coming here since 7th grade.
So much has changed in my world and his but there is always something special about a place that is consistent. This is my comfort food. I’ll be a customer for life.

This is my go to place for chili-​cheese fries. Also the breakfast menu is great and the price is really worth it, i rather eat Jim’s pancake combo with eggs and bacon than ihop’s.

For the price and amount of food they give you, it’s pretty good. Their burgers are bigger than those from other fast food restaurants, and the fries they give you are seasoned with salt and pepper. The sauce that they put in the burgers makes it so juicy that it drips down the bottom. It gets a little messy. It’s a good place to go to if you want something fast and filling, and it gets you through the day.
I do wish that they had some way to regulate their phone-​in orders. I called in my order but when we came in to pick it up, they said that someone else had already picked it up, which couldn’t have been one of us, since we were both there. They should start putting down names or something with the phone ins. It was inconvenient for us since we were on a timed lunch break, which was why we phoned in our order – so that we could just pick it up and go on our way. Instead we had to wait longer for them to remake it.

We’ve been going here for years I can’t believe I haven’t thought to leave them a good review. Actually, my boyfriend has been going here since he was in elementary school! We are adults now. We love their fries with extra seasoning and ranch. We crave it all the time. The guys here treat us very well. The food… very satisfying. We love the variety that this place offers. Also their hours are very acommodating.

The 8-​piece whole chicken (2 breasts, 2 wings, 2 thighs, 2 legs) for just $ 10 is absolutely delicious! It tastes and smells very much like the Indian tandoori chicken. If you like tandoori chicken, you should give this a try. Yum! Also try their Juicy Whip orange, its way better than the Orange Bang from the mall or other Mexican take-​outs. Friendly service and the lady cashier Jessie is super nice. Would highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for 10 years, and I always leave a satisfied customer. Cheeseburger or Pollo Loco are the items you can’t go wrong with. Friendly staff that is always willing to cater to your needs. A huge plus for me is that you can order by phone and pick up the food a couple of minutes later.

Drive thru horrors
Tonight my boyfriend and I were ready to order and there was one car in front of us. The man had parked his car, gotten out of the car and was at the drive thru window chatting it up with the employee who was taking orders at the drive thru. We sat at the drive thru behind this car for about 10 minutes while these guys were talking about under armor clothing… which was spoken all in Spanish. I am used to waiting in line at Jim’s…usually waiting on them making the food not waiting to order. There was no acknowledgement that we were waiting or any response at all. Finally we decided to leave without food and when we passed the window the employees didn’t seem to care we had left. This has been one of the worst experiences at this Jim’s ever… sad to say because the food is excellent!

Cheeseburger — greasy yet tasty! Really great Mexican flavors with juicy slice of tomato and whole leaf iceberg lettuce unlike shredded lettuce served elsewhere.
Fries — love the seasoning.
Pollo Dinner — nice. Even the white meat is moist.
Staffs — Always friendly.

Got the double burger here made it a combo came out to about 8 and some change. The burger lacked much flavor the sauce was watery. The service was pretty quick though I was in and out of there in about 7mins. The flavorless patties I don’t know if I would be able to give it another shot.

If you like your burgers messy, greasy and delicious, this is your place to go! I prefer my burgers a little bit more organized and tidy.
Burgers here are like the bigger and fresher versions of the Double Quarter-​Pounders served at McDonalds. I do like their fries though because they season them with salt and pepper.

I like coming to Jim’s Burgers for one thing the Pollo Loco their version of their revival El Pollo Loco. Their chicken is very tasted with spicy in each bite very similar to El Pollo Loco but very affordable.
The Pollo Loco come a half a chicken, fries and side salad plus bread just $ 6 not bad.

First of all, I am a hole in the wall aficionado.
Greasy and sketchy is ok as long as the food is awesome. Sorry, but the food was not awesome on my first visit and I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Everyone in the reviews seems to have good things to say about their chicken. Maybe I shouldn’t have ordered a burger at you know, Jim’s Burger. Maybe they should change their name.
