This is a true traditional Mexican restaurant! Everything, and I mean Everything, is made from scratch! Chips, tortillas, tostado shells, and taco shells! Oh, Did I say TACO shells? OMG! The tacos are, without a doubt, the best I have had in a very long time! The shells are made fresh, from scratch, fried to delicious crispiness, not greasy, then stuffed with flavorful, perfectly seasoned, beef, cheese, lettuce and tomato. They are not greasy, they are juicy. The cheese enchiladas are filled with a «melt-in-your-mouth» fluffy cheese, not something that is chewy! The masa in the overly stuffed, pork-filled tamales is light, moist and fluffy. We love this place! You may have to wait a bit longer for your food to be served, but remember, «Good things come to those who wait»!

This is one of the more reliable Tex-Mex restaurants I’ve been to. I have a fairly extensive menu and all of their dishes are quite good. The cost is quite reasonable. If there are any improvement so I could offer it would be in the consistency of reliable service. Tonight service was quite good but I have been here before many times and it is not always so. I’m not spending to much time on the menu because all of the dishes I’ve ever had our extremely reliable, flavorful and the ingredients fresh.

This place is perfect if you and your family want to wait two hours for your food! Waited 40 minutes just to take our order after a family that had just gotten in got their order taken first… Never brought chips and salsa to the table… Food arrived and it was cold… All t the surrounding tables all were waiting as well… Horrible… Either they are understaffed or just managed poorly… It’s horrible. Don’t waste your morning here especially on a Sunday morning… I’m typing this as I’m still waiting for the food. Been so far 1HR45 minutes. Outrages

Food is good but service is very slow no matter who the waitress is. We were waiting 30 minutes before they come tell me they had no menudo which was the only reason I went today.

I love this place. The food is good and its cheap! I’ve been going there for years, they know my whole family and what we like to order! lol Sunday’s usually get really busy so service is a bit slower but I don’t mind, just keep the chips and salsa coming. The staff is super friendly.

FOODPOISONING. BEWARE. Do not eat here. My husband and I came in and waited to be shown to a table. Two employees stood in the back chatting but didn’t move. Finally we were shown our table. It took forever for the food to come and I wish it never did. My stomach was hurting soon after. 12 hours later I’m still not feeling well. The place is grungy cheap and gross. You get what you pay for.

My family and I love this family owned restaurant in Rosenberg. The food is plentiful and the smiles are as well! Attentive service, great food made for a wonderful experience! A great alternative to the marquee places… It’s nice discovering these hole in the wall places. Sometimes they far outshine the name restaurants! Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed.

The food here is amazing! If you like great Mexican food, and friendly service then pull the car over, and stop in. The fajitas are amazing, and the tacos are always sooo tasty. I will keep coming back! You have to eat here!

Food is pretty good and reasonably priced. However if you are dining in do not expect good service. Often waitress do their job but at their own pace and no sense of urgency, even when it’s busy. Do not be surprised if your waitress stops and talks to her friends while getting your order. Do not be angered when your waitress sets down a hot plate right in front of your 1 and 2 year old children(cuz I was). Conclusion, if you pick it up and leave go for it, otherwise maybe not.

Thanks, Vic. Forgot to look at cleanliness rating. No view except parking lot. Food tasted just OK, but gobs of it. Liked that they did put lots of lettuce and tomatoes on the tacos, chalupas. But I kept looking at what I thought was mystery meat in the enchiladadas. Was not ground beef. More shredded? And rather pink. That kept bothering me as I ate it. Green sauce was OK but red sauce bland with chopped cilantro, no bite. Waitress did her job but rather lackadaisical, not rude, but didn’t are if we were there or not. Lots of food for cheap price, but I’ve had lots better.

Food just OK, but lots and lots of it. Waitress reasonably attentive. Stunning view of vacant lot and Sonic. OK, OK, so it’s Rosenberg… Reason for two stars instead of three — sanitation rating 83.(Rosenberg, to its credit, requires posting of same.) Someday I’ll learn to look for the rating *before* I eat.

the beef fajita plate was actually 2 plates loaded with food, all really greta. One plate for thebeans and rice and pico de gallo and guacamole and another for the large mound of beef and grilled onions and bell peppers, for around ten bucks. Great food at a great price.

Very good authentic Mexican food. I am particular to the Gorditas or chicken soup. If you want good authentic mexican food then go where the natives go! The atmosphere is very basic, but the wait staff is friendly. If you speak the language it will help.

Good food and plenty of it for cheap! My mom recommended this place. It’s nothing fancy but the food is good and the prices are well below most mexican restaurants. My fiancé had the foot long fajita burrito for $ 6.99. I think mine was called the Mariachi Plate for $ 5.99 which came with an enchilada, crispy taco, beans and rice. The chips and salsa are good too! I would definitely go back.
