The food is really good. I think if you want a sub place that is different than subway than try this place. Plus they have a few locations which makes it kind of nice to have a location near you plus they dont have like a billion locations yet. The subs are built around a firehouse theme and they are only one of the few places that support the local firefighters.

I highly recommend this sandwich spot. Only good quality meat is used, and they are not cheap with it. And to top it off, they have 15+ types of hot sauce to complete their subs. A little more spendy than other sandwich places, but completely worth it.

This is definitely one of my favorite sandwich shops by far! First off, the staff and manager are always friendly! The location on Snelling is always clean which I appreciate. The manager/owner himself comes around to check on you while eating which I always am impressed by. He’s always there, and not just standing around, but jumping right on in whether it’s taking a customer order or wiping up tables. The sandwich itself is very delicious! I always get the turkey bacon cheddar combo, the sandwich is warm and medium size is just fine for me. They also have the cool pop machine where you can make tons of flavor options! This is my go to firehouse location!

A fun sub joint with great food and a greater story. Visit for the totally customizable hot or cold subs and stay for the neat firehouse décor. Vegetarian options exist although none too healthy. Good bread, good veggie array, several sauce options, and all made fresh to order. A reasonable price for the quality of food. Woman was also very nice and explained how you order since I was new to it.

I want to like their subs but I swear they NEVER get my order right! Every time I ask for freebies like hot peppers, banana peppers, or anything it’s never gets added. Or, how about just simply make the sandwich as described in the menu? No cranberry sauce on my cranberry turkey Again! Also, how about don’t wrap my sub super tight to the point where my bread flattens? The bf said maybe it was just a mistake our first time there… But nope… This is my forth time. And it’s the same. Not kidding. Oh and… Workers looks like they hate their job.

I happened to hit a quiet time for my first visit. The leader dude was kind enough to give me the rundown on how things are made there and what they had available. I got the large turkey /bacon /ranch sandwich. BEST hot sub in the history of the world. The parking lot is kind of small so don’t tell anyone that the worlds best hot subs are made here because they will come here over and over and I will have trouble finding a parking spot when i come there.

Best sub I ever had… turkey and bacon deliciousness — definitely worth the drive to Roseville. I will go back

So disappointing. I will not be back. The one in Richfield is great but this one is just dysfunctional. The manager was yelling the whole time and I don’t blame him. It sounded like 5 or 6 subs before ours were wrong and they had to redo them. A bored, blank faced cashier took my order and spoke in a monotone robot voice. I ordered a «chicken salad sub on wheat no tomatoes» and she typed in chicken salad(the salad.) I politely corrected her. She rolled her eyes and took forever to correct it(we spent like 5 or more minutes ordering 4 sandwiches) and I ended up getting a kid’s size turkey sandwich, not chicken salad. I was charged for a full price chicken salad sub though, and that was what was read off to me from the slip by the guy who handed us the bag before we left. Clearly, babysitting was necessary and I should have checked the bag before we left. None of the other subs ordered were even cut and it was about a 15 minute wait after ordering. I have NEVER waited that long at a Firehouse Subs. My suggestion is to keep driving past this one. I have worked food service before, specifically sandwiches, wraps and salads. It’s so easy. Gross but easy. Sandwiches just aren’t rocket science. Get it together.

The Siracha Beef sandwich is delicious! I can’t wait to go back! Choices are good for both kids and adults. Everyone should go!

Ohhh so good — ooooh so disappointing! This was my third trip. The sandwiches are good, there is a huge number of choices and if you like hot sauce, they have a rack with at least 50 different choices. On my first two visits, I had the«New York Steamer» which is described as this: Corned beef brisket, pastrami, melted provolone, deli mustard, mayo, and Italian dressing. For fast food, it was excellent. Today I ordered the meatball sub, but I never got to try it! My first visit, it took maybe 15 minutes to get my sub, but I believe I was there on the very first day the place was open. My second visit, apparently 7 of their 10 steamers were not functioning, and it took 20 minutes to get my sub, which seemed like a really long time, but they were still within the first couple of weeks and having technical issues. Today, I had to grab a quick bite before a conference call I was leading. I had a 12:30 call and got my order in at 11:50. Two of my colleagues who ordered directly ahead of me got their subs at 12:20. Mine had not been started. We had to leave, I ended up with Doritos and Coke for lunch. I am so bummed! So, we will go back, but we’ll wait a while until they get things figured out. Maybe we can call ahead or something like that. Too bad, they make a good sandwich. They just need to figure out how to make a good sandwich quickly!

I came to the grand opening and ordered the #3 New York Steamer Sub. This was the best corned beef and pastrami sandwich I’ve had in the Midwest — real, authentic New York style sandwich. Finally! I’m glad this has arrived in MN!
