Kind of disappointed. Ordered wings, fries and zucchini. Everything was over cooked. Kitchen was dirty.

Ordered an original cheesesteak, combination cheesesteak, and inferno wings. Everything was delicious! Glad I chose this family owned business over the multiple chains in this plaza. They did not disappoint! The wings were so good we ordered another batch after we killed our first order. No regrets. Lol

I was driving all over the area today i.e., SacTown, Elk Grove, Galt, Auburn, Carmichael, and Roseville. By the time I stopped in Roseville, I was hungry as I haven’t eaten all day. Naturally I looked on Unilocal to see what nearby restaurants there were. Granite’s Famous Cheesesteaks & Wings called out to me. I needed something quick and it was around 2:30; so I knew it shouldn’t be too crowded. I was right. I was first in line and only a few other people were inside eating. I ordered the New York Grinder. It looked OK and smelled great! Wow, was I in for a surprise! The sandwich lacked flavor, with exception to the mustard and pickle. How many times do I have to say, «Season the food!» That’s Cooking 101! The meat was over-chopped and cooked way too long. The result was a dry, crumbly, and ground beef-like product. I could not taste the cheese. It was there, but flavorless. I really hate to write this, but this was probably my worst cheesesteak sandwich. The execution just had too many flaws!

Heard of the location but never visited. Came in about 5:30 on a weekday, first impression; clean, staff helpful got my order in about 8 minutes. I’ve has both new York and Philly sandwiches in those locations. This was a genuine cheese steak as far as I can remember. The fries were(what I consider) perfect with medium size crinkle just on this side of crispy cooked all the way through. High recommendation for Philly lovers.

This is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I love to stop in here and grab a cheesesteak while my wife gets the wings. Both are really good. The atmosphere isn’t great and don’t expect the best service in the world but if you are looking for a good cheesesteak I haven’t had one better. Deffinetly worth checking out just don’t expect the Taj Mahal. ;)

My lady and I stop in here off and on. We always get sandwiches and a order of their fried mushrooms. I love the cold cut combo and the belly buster. Their hot wings are amazing perfect for any game night. My lady loves the cheese steaks, the turkey bacon club and the fried zucchini. It’s a great casual night place or just to pick up your order and head home to watch the game. As for the service it’s nice to see that the owner is there almost every day and he always greets you when you come in and says thank you when you leave. Call me old school but little courtesies like that win me over every time.

Great wings and subs! I eat here 2 – 3 times a month. They always have sports on their tv’s to enjoy while eating. I used to go to there other restaurant off of Watt Ave. when I was growing up in North Highlands. Still the same great recipe! I definitely recommend this joint!

I havent had a philly cheese steak sandwich in a long time. Its been 4 years since i had one. Today I decided to try this place. My sister and her bf says it’s the best Philly sandwich. I was curious too see what’s it’s all about. The lady at the front was nice, but I wasn’t done ordering and she kept asking me is that it. Maybe if she was more patient I would of order something more appealing to eat. I had ordered the New York Grinder and garlic fries. When my food arrived, it looks yummy. But my fries were cold and the sandwich looks alright. I took the first bite and it was ok. There wasn’t alot of flavor and it seemed dried. I didn’t want to just throw it away cause I hate wasting food. I forced myself to finish at least half and took the other half home for my sister bf to eat. Maybe next time I’ll order something else.

It was freezing in this place the other night! I’m pretty sure it was colder inside than outside. Be sure to wear a coat! It took awhile to get our food, even though only 2 other customers were there. They seemed to have been waiting awhile too, since after we ordered they inquired about their order. I had a regular size sandwich which was actually quite large. The meat was tender and the sandwich had good flavor. My DH had the teriyaki chicken wings. He said they were pretty good. There are about 7 or 8 tables and some TVs which were tuned to sports channels. I am not a cheese steak expert, so I can’t really compare it to other places. While we were there, a lot of customers came in so it seems to be a popular place. For a regular size sandwich, 10 wings and 1 drink it was around $ 22.

Worst meal ever! I can’t remember the last time I had a meal so bad. Looking forward to trying the famous«wings» and a little Monday night football. Place was practically empty with three people in there, yet we had to wait at the counter to be greeted by one of the two guys working. Had same guy that Jerry H complained about in review below who acted like he didn’t want to be bothered with taking our order. Corn dogs and onion rings were over fried and dark brown, and wings were overcooked and so hard and dry like wood, with a gallon of sauce just poured over the top. Guy at front just sat on his ipad the whole time. Won;t be back. Couldn’t eat the food, so headed over to Yard House.

I don’t know how the wings taste but the sandwiches looked good but lacked taste. The guy behind the counter look like he just woke up. Two small sandwiches order of fries two small drinks $ 25.00 little pricey

First time my family has been there. We waited in front of the 3 employees for a while before being helped. Customer service was terrible, the food was terrible. Especially the half frozen garlic fries we ate. Wont be back.

Spot was just as advertised: Wings & Cheesesteaks and they do them both well. Got the combo cheesesteak w/shrooms & onion and 6 wings. Got the wings dry with a side of three of the probably 8 or 9 homemade sauces they offer. Enjoyed all of it to the last bite. Come hungry. 4.5 stars

I love this place so much and eat here every time I get the chance. I love chicken wings and they hands down have the very best. I also love the fact that they don’t skimp on the ranch dressing for to go orders… so I can have the same great experience eating in or at home, plus they give a generous amount of carrots and celery to cool my mouth down and it really is needed… They also have an amazing nacho cheese steak which i always get and my husband and I split. it’s messy and oooohhhh so delicious. The owner is super friendly and there is a great relaxed feel here. Really whats not to like. I wish they would offer Groupons or some type of discounts, that is always a plus and something else to look forward to. but I will be back and again and again and if you want good wings you will too.

Tucked away in an all too common strip mall of retailers is this fine little gem. Chicken wings are crispy, tasty and the sauces are very good. Most people brag about their Philly cheesesteaks but the wings are worth a try too!

If you like fatty baked wings, this is not the place for you, I repeat this is not the place for you. I hate excess fat on my wings, and I hate when it tastes like they just heated the wings in the oven, I mean I can buy a bag of frozen wings and do that myself, why pay someone to do that? My friend tells me she placed a phone order for wings at this Roseville place and of course I’m skeptical. «Are they good, are they fatty?» She says, they’re good and not fatty and to trust her. Well, she’s never steered me wrong. So I call and place my order. We go together and the girl at the counter was really nice. The guy who handed me my tray of wings gave me some extra newspaper to put on the bottom of the tray since they were still hot, he even offered to carry our orders back to the car. Disclaimer, my husband loves hot wings, check out my review for Jura’s in Turlock and their wings. Husband’s opinion is the true test of a good wing. He says nothing. Here we are eating wings with our friends and he’s not saying they’re good or bad. I’m enjoying the crispiness and the extra sauce, although some people will call it grease, I like it and didn’t think it was overly greasy. Asked husband what he thought, and he said they were great, and asked me where I got them from. We’ll definitely be back. Please note we did not eat in, I didn’t look at the overall cleanliness of the eat in area but I didn’t notice plastic on the table. After writing this wing, now I want a review… urmm. I mean after writing this review I want some hot wings.

Cute little hole-in-the-wall place. Steak sandwich could use a little more flavor. The meat was a bit bland for both my husband and I. We covered it with steak sauce, but overall we enjoyed our dinner. I enjoyed the wings. We had the mild buffalo wings and it was crispy and pure yummy-ness. Their lemon pepper’s great, but the thick layer of grease and butter freaked me out a bit. I felt like running a couple of miles after looking at it. Overall, it was a great experience. Be warned, it is pretty pricy for steak sandwiches and wings. So pack your wallet!

Came here for the first time after I let my hubby know I was craving wings — as he’d ordered food from here before to take over to the cigar shop while watching football games and hanging out with his dad and brothers. FIrst of all, i’ll say — wings are NOTCHEAP. I remember the days of being in college(in Illinois) where there was $ 0.50 wing nights and you could order as many as you wanted, and really that’s how much I expect wings to cost. Alas, that’s not the case — even Buffalo Wild Wings who has Wings Tuesdays and Bonless Wings Thursdays have increased their prices($ 0.65 per wing on Tuesdays). So, that all being said, we orderd 30 wings which cost us in the neighborhood of $ 26. Those wings, plus a side order of french fries and a beer for the hubby came out to $ 45ish dollars after tax and tip. Seriously expensive for some bar food BUT — they were delicious! I think we ordered like 25 regular buffalo flavored and 5 parm garlic ones and they were all yummy. They were perfectly cooked with a crisp and drenched in sauce. We did not finish everything so we had left overs(which were JUSTASGOODCOLD!) so that made me happy. All in all — they definitely hit the spot and were some very delicious spot on traditional buffalo wings! In regards to décor — the place already looks run down though it’s in a newer shopping center. Ther’s probably a handful of tables covered in plastic disposable table cloths and rolls of paper towels. The food is brought out to a counter where you pick up on your own and they have a few TVs showing sports games. It’s kind of a hole in the wall — not a bar setting, not a restaurant setting — so i’d say take out is the way to go! But again none of this affects the taste of the food! The only reason for the 4 stars is the price — i still think it’s a bit much — nearly $ 1 per wing! Crazy!

Increase your customer service, clean your floors, wipe down your tables and most of all make Baby Huey in the front shave, shower, greet customers with a smile and stop surfing the internet on his baby laptop while taking orders… then maybe… just maybe… I’ll drive by and glance at your store. Come on owner, a Wingstop went out if business here… keep your doors open by paying close attention to cleanliness and customer service. Can’t say much about the food, kept picturing Baby Huey frying my wings.

I’ve been to Philadelphia, and though I came in here not comparing it an authentic Philly cheesesteak, I feel that even if I did it would still get a solid 5 stars. I’ll be honest and say that I only bought a cheesesteak here because I was tired of the wait at Ninja Sushi next door. I guess fate brought me here. I’m not sure why people say this place is a dive because it’s interior is similar to that of numerous burger joints or hot wings places, as in not too big but not super small, and it was clean when I was there. I ordered their philly cheesesteak with onions and mushrooms, and was surprised to see how big their«regular» was. The meat was well seasoned and tender. All the veggies were cooked and my sandwich, along with the american cheese, was piping hot. The bread held up the whole way through and was crisp without ever becoming too soggy. Their cheesesteak was delicious. Don’t expect lettuce, tomatoes, or any of that here. It’s all about the meat and the flavor without adding a salad bar to your sandwich. Solid 5 stars, I was impressed by the first all the way to the last bite.
