Visited Early Toast on the advice of friends. It was probably the worst meal I have ever had at a restaurant! We ordered drinks. I had a Bloody mary. The taste was good, but the celery was not only limp, but dirty on both ends and had not been cut off. Although the selections were many, I was craving a grilled chicken sandwich. It arrived and the chicken was dry and tough, no avocado as advertised and no chipolte sauce. It was soggy on the bottom. The french fries had obviously been in the kitchen for awhile as they were also soggy. Others in our group also did not have a good experience. Eggs were ordered over medium and arrived not only hard, but burned on the bottom.(They replaced the eggs for her). Another had fish and chips and found that the«cod» had been frozen and not very tasty. Our host and server(the same) was very pleasant, but someone who we believe was a manager acted as he was under pressure and did not present as very clean. It sounded like it was a party going on in the kitchen, as it was noisy and very loud music playing so that patrons could here it in the dining area. All of this would not be bad, perhaps by some standards, but we are in the food and hospitality industry and found it to be unacceptable!

Average food with unconcerned and indifferent servers. Potatoes were burnt, bacon was overcooked and 98%fat and ice cold. Crab benedict was bland, surely a crab with a K in those patties. Our server Charlie seemed to be extremely inconvenienced that she had to work that day, made apparent by a rude personality, no refills, and her constant hovering to pick up the check, with food still on our forks. So not impressed, will not be back.

I love breakfast food and this place just does it so well. The breakfast sandwich is the besssstttt, but i would advice to get the egg over easy instead of scrambled… but thats just me: D also the french toast is super yum!

Hey Mario, your service needs lots of improvement! Went there for the first(and last) time. Food was«okay,» and service totally lacking in follow through and basic systems that wait staff can succeed within. Without serious attention to basic customer service, my bets are you won’t be around next year.

The kind of breakfast everyone likes. Attentive staff. Hands on management. Mimosas and other adult beverages. Basic no frills menu with choices. Comfortable quiet seating.

I’ve been here twice, I didn’t particularly enjoy my experience the first time, but I gave it a second shot and they proved to be just a pricey«meh» restaurant in my book. I like the dim atmosphere and we were promptly greeted and drink orders were taken. However it was about 20 minutes before our waiter returned to take our order. He was very polite and got all our orders right but it took way too long for our food to come out, he left with our order at 1:50pm and our food arrived at 2:35pm(45min) They weren’t very busy, only three tables were occupied including ours. The waiter didn’t check on us at all after we were served, I noticed he and the other staff were just congregating towards the back, while we were just left there eventually waiting too long for our check. I like the fact fact that you’re very polite but if you’re not actually doing what you can to take care of us it kinda defeats the purpose dude. There are plenty of good brunch places out there with consistently good service, and good service is important to me. I won’t be coming back here

The tortilla is a staple in of Mexican dining. I walked into this location this morning, was promptly greeted by a very polite greeter who after I informed her that was eating alone and would prefer to sit at the bar, guided me to a sit at the bar. The bar tender gave asked«what r u having?» and I asked for coffee. 10 minutes later he returns and suggests a few menu items, but I order the chorizo and eggs and ask that the tortillas be lightly fried in a pan(trying to cut down a grease intake). Roughly 10 minutes later my plate arrives with a side of tortillas wrapped in foil. I open the foil and notice that the tortillas look as they were simply removed from the tortilla pack and placed in a microwave oven to heat them. So, thinking that it was just a simple miscommunication, I ask the bartender if he’d mind bringing me two additional ones, but this time clarified that I wanted them to be fried in a pan with light grease. By now I the first two were gone and I was simply waiting for the next two to arrive so that I could finish my meal. 5 minutes later, the cook approaches and asks if I was trying to get a taco chip style tortilla, I respond, politely with«no», I’d just like to have two lightly fried tortillas, then gave basic instruction, a teaspoon of oil and a tortilla cooked on both sides for roughly 10 seconds each. 5 minutes later the bartender returns to check on me, and tell him that I’m fine, but my foods gotten cold while I’ve been setting around waiting for the tortillas. 5 minutes later, they return with a foil wrapper containing 3 microwaved corn tortillas and 3 microwaved flower tortillas. I ask for the manger who informs me that I didn’t have to pay for my meal, and could leave, so I did. On top of all that, I never received my side dish. I will not be going back.

The food was good, the portions of some plates were questionable & the service less than expected. My friend and I went at exactly 12:30 on a Sunday to get brunch. We were promptly seated, everything was clean and it wasnt busy so we were really happy and excited to come back! We ordered drinks. Our waiter forgot about my mimosa(I reminded him20 minutes later), he didn’t even tell me about their bottomless mimosa deal and never even asked me if I wanted another one(which I did). Anyways, our food came and it was really good, the portions of fries were kinda small though. I hope to try them again and update my review. Maybe another waiter can serve me better, like this Ian guy everyone keeps mentioning lol I would recommend their food but note they are pricey and the service isn’t always the best.

Food was awesome! Service was awesome as well! Ian was super attentive and made our group laugh a ton. We love coming to Early Toast because of the fun environment we experience every time as well as the wide variety of breakfast and lunch foods.

My boyfriend and I stopped here on the recommendation of a couple of our friends and I have to say I am extremely glad we did! The service was excellent; Ian was wonderful. He made sure the boyfriend and I had a great dining experience and made sure to keep checking in with us. As for the food, I had the veggie omelet and it is one of the best I have ever had. The Flirt here is my favorite mimosa. Will definitely be coming back here.

Country skillet was amazing! They even cut the chicken fried steak up for you so you can dig right in. Tasty mimosas and coffee! Great service! Dog friendly! Our server brought a bowl of water for our dog right away!

Wow! Surprised to see such low ratings for this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this place. There are two locations and this was my very first visit which I have put off for too long! Bottomless mimosas! 13.99 every day from 12:30−3! And you can choose from at least 10 different flavors! I enjoyed the caramel apple one, also the«naughty Cupid» which is a strawberry lemon flavored one, and a vampire which was sweet, red, fruity, and suggested by our server. Fun and yummy! The menu is HUGE! From crepes to omelette to crab Benedict to waffles and French toast of course! Our entrees were extremely tasty. They have thick Sliced bacon cooked perfectly crispy and they weren’t stingy with it either! French toast was mouth watering as well. I can’t wait to come taste everything else! updated review I have been waiting to go back!!! I had to bring more friends to show them how much I loved this restaurant, and enjoy mimosas with them knowing they would leave beyond satisfied. Boy did I find a gold mind! This is not only one of my new favorite places, but my roommates as well. Talk about a winner! We tried lots of different dishes. Two savory crepes, the banana wheat germ pancakes, and the biscuits and gravy benedict. Not to mention a few different flavored mimosas. «The Roseville» and«the flirt» we’re our two favorites so far, as well as «the blue one» that was a special treat by our incredible waiter. Speaking of our waiter, Ian, he made the experience that much better. He gave us great suggestions and amazing customer service. We also happened to notice that while we loved to feel we got the special treatment, Ian took good care of each and every one of his tables. Truly made our brunch more enjoyable and fun. We will all be back without a doubt.

Second time here, came for the Crab Benedict. It is delicious, even if the eggs were a tad overcooked this time. Our server, Ian, has a lot of personality which is refreshing and entertaining. Love the atmosphere, can’t wait to come back again.

Probably one of the worst breakfasts of recent memory. Came here because we were getting an oil change at the nearby automall and needed some breakfast. They had a checkin deal for mimosas so, why not? …Bad decision. Steak was completely over done — not even close to medium rare as ordered. Not to mention completely flavorless; surprising considering the amount of fat in the meat. The onions and mushrooms accompanying the dish did not help either. Eggs were barely passable. But they’re also just eggs, so one should expect more from a breakfast place. Hash browns also completely over done. Not the good crispy over done, but just hard and difficult to eat. The toast was ok! Mimosa tasted a bit off, but could just be the fresh squeezed oranges. Also, it was a dollar so I can’t complain. Ordered a beer which I barely drank half of because A) it tasted skunky and B) at this point in time we had already waited 40min for less than stellar food(won’t even get into this part!) and were late to pick up the car from the dealer. All that said, the man serving our table was great, attentive, and none of the above were problems of his. The management and ownership certainly have some work to do if they plan on being around much longer.

this was me and my boyfriend’s first visit to an Early toast franchise. the restaurant was very spacious and clean. our order was taken very quickly and our server was very friendly. I ordered the Maui Waffle that were served with their potatoes, eggs, bacon and sausage. the waffle really wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. the texture was crunchy instead of soft and buttery. the topping was very soggy. I was hoping for a delicious waffle like the Paradise Waffle served at Four Sister’s Café(which is also in the Roseville area), but it wasn’t even close in comparison. the peppers that were added to the potatoes seemed like a nice twist but I would’ve preferred not to have the peppers. the bacon was cooked perfectly though. I heard great things about Early Toast, but I don’t believe my experience was good enough to return.
