Michaels

The store is actually larger inside than what the outside appears.
They had exactly what I needed for my Christmas decorations (i.e. large red bows); went to two different Jo-​Ann stores that did not have any. Prices were good, and many items were on sale 50%-60% off!

There’s never anyone working the long line at the front. You think they’d all be around the store helping customers but nope. There’s only one person that works here I swear…

Other than the small, hazordous parking lot this store is pretty well stocked. Came in looking for some decorations to make an «ugly Christmas sweater» and found what I was looking for for under $ 5. It was busy with the holiday rush but they had 4 cashiers so the line moved pretty quickly.

After going to Joanne’s new location and being disappointed big time I will be coming back to good olé Michaels for my crafting needs. Its smaller but almost always has what I am looking for and a huge selections of clearance at great prices.

We well NEVER shop at this store again! My son inquired about a toy (kendama) and wondered if they had any in stock. Kristin was very rude to him. She was apparently to lazy to look and told him they were about to close and he would have to come back in the morning. When i called to find out her name she told me she was the manager. I’m assuming because of the way she looks, is why she is so unhappy and terrible at customer service. Shame on Michaels for putting such a miserable person as manager. No wonder the store is so Empty all the time! Lol

My love for all things crafty always goes into overdrive around the holidays. Oh who am I kidding I’m always in craft mode!
This Michaels location is my go to spot. Let me start by saying the staff at this store is fantastic. Never once have I encountered someone who was not helpful, freindly and knowledgable.
Over the holidays you know places like this can be out of control. Not this Michaels. The staff on the floor was greeting everyone saying hello and making sure we were all finding what we needed. A sweet young gal even brought me a hand basket because my arms were over flowing with yarn.
Michaels is great they send out so many coupons and deals, I like they don’t blow up my email though. They always come at a nice pace where you aren’t annoyed by them. And come on what crafty person doesn’t want 25% off their entire purchase! Seriously!
I have been to lots and lots of craft stores and although this is a big name chain I think this particular location is stellar and they will continue to get my business on a regular basis.

I hate this Michaels location. HATE it!
First off… the parking lot is a complete joke.
Second…There is no set line area so everyone just hurds towards the front like a group of cows with no method to the madness.
Third… this store is small and way over-packed…which can cause complaint #2 to be even worse. There is stuff EVERYWHERE (forget grabbing a cart because it will not fit down most aisles if a single person is standing in said aisle.) and since there is stuff everywhere there is no place for people to go.
I am a huge fan of Michaels, but I really really hate this location.
