Point Acupuncture and Asian Medicine

Hongji is the owner and acupuncturist at Point Acupuncture and Asian Medicine in Roseville, Mn. She is not only a highly skilled and knowledgeable practitioner, but she is a wonderful caring person too. She is willing to take the extra time needed to best treat her patients, and does it with patience and empathy, making it an all around enjoyable experience.
I had been seen at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn. by neurologists, infectious disease doctors, and internists. I had test, after test, after test, with the outcome being inconclusive. They could not find a cause for my pain, so they only offered to try to treat me with pain medications. Treating the pain sounded like a great idea, until I found out that all of the medications they prescribed had terrible side affects.
In the Spring of 2013 a friend referred me to Hongji, and for that referral I am forever grateful. After seeing Hongji I found out that nerve pain is not effectively treated by Western medications, but with a highly trained acupuncturist like Hongji it can be.
I was looking forward to a life of severe chronic pain, and I now feel amazingly better. Hongji believes in what she does, is good at what she does, and for that I am truly grateful. Without her knowledge and skill as an acupuncturist I would be feeling miserable today. I can’t thank her enough for what she was able to do for me!!!
Her clinic is located in Roseville, Mn. which is centrally located within the Twin Cities, and it takes me hardly any time to get there, whether I’m coming from Minneapolis or St Paul. The clinic is like new, very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, with a relaxing atmosphere in the waiting room and her three treatment rooms. Parking at the clinic is super easy, as she has client parking available right outside her front door, making it especially nice in the Mn winters.
She does an incredible job of scheduling too, and staying on her schedule, so if you are on a tight timeframe, know that she will be on time for you.

Since I am not the one to get stuck with needles, I am not so sure I should review, but since I am in the lobby, which is East meets West Elm in its décor while my wife gets the treatment, I will oblige.
It would be more relaxing in here were it not for the busy Cretin traffic right outside, (at St. Clair) hissing by, but really, the office is big, the lobby like a living room with a chaise and a bench and an ottoman filled with magazines I would like to read (dwell, wallpapers) and various interesting games/​books.
I am intrigued by the handwriting deck of cards (you can be a handwriting expert in 24 hours!) and the deck of palmistry cards, which I am hoping will reveal why I have two lifelines and if that crazy woman was right in Alabama when she said to my then 18 year old self «You have a lot of changes ahead». yeah, no shit.
But more about Point. They are legit. They do have tea and jewlery and stones for sale in the lobby/​living room which i find neither good nor bad.
The bathroom is in the basement.
Oh wait, there goes a human pin cushion! Oh no, that is my wife.
