We hired Dan to install a dog door and gate on our side yard so we could use it as a dog run. He first installed the dog door. The prefab door purchased from HD was missing the directions but Dan figured it out without any problem and did an excellent install. The gate was a bit trickier since the area to enclose was quite wide. Dan took measurements and then researched the best materials and the best way to install it. He purchased the supplies, installed it and cleaned up afterwards. He is very friendly and professional. His rates are reasonable. We’ll definitely keep Dan in mind for future projects as we’re not DIY’ers. We can definitely recommend Dan’s work.

I hired Dan do some finishing work on our new house (baseboards, door casings, cabinetry.) Dan was knowledgeable, professional, and produced some great results! His prices are reasonable and he kept me updated me when he needed to purchase supplies. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, and will be contacting him for our next project.

I recently hired Dan to take care of a few repairs in my rental unit. He got back to me almost immediately after leaving him a voicemail. He was upfront and honest with his quote. I was unavailable to meet him at the unit, but I left the key under the mat leaving full trust in him. He took care of everything as promised. Even went above and beyond to forward important information on a special part necessary to fix a window. And was able to accept payment by phone when he was done with the job. Talk about convenience. I will definitely be keeping his contact information for any future jobs. Thanks Dan!

Fix-​it Guys deserve an A+ on their report card.
I’ve hired Dan to help with carpet installation at a San Jose dental office a few years back as well as referred him to several customers recently who were looking for a skilled handyman. He is knowledgable, professional, and affordable. Put it this way, you will feel comfortable with him working in your house, and you’re pocketbook will too!
I’m glad Dan finally started The Fix-​It Guys this year. He is a genuine person interested in the wellbeing of others as he is also a full-​time principal and teacher. This market needs more honest guys like him.

I would give 10 stars if I could! Dan is knowledgeable, helpful, honest, and competent. Definitely a rare set of attributes these days. It seems like he knows how to do almost anything relating to home repair. I’ve had him do small repairs and some larger scale «fix it» problems around the house and I’ve always been more than pleased! His attention to detail and desire to go the extra mile to do the job right are the reasons I will continue to use him and refer him to friends. He takes pride in his work and his customer service is A+!
