One of our favorite early morning stops. Get there early or you’ll have to wait.

I’ve lived in West Roxbury for nearly 20 years and I just discovered this breakfast joint three minutes from my house! I came here on a Sunday morning and ordered the egg’s benedict. The food took forever to come, and the waitresses here were standoffishly rude when we tried to ask them questions. The egg’s benedict was alright, but I’ve definitely had way better at other breakfast joints. Overall, was not very impressed. Props to them for the unlimited coffee, but otherwise, I unfortunately probably won’t be back.

Amazing breakfast! Huge portions! Delicious! First time we were here I had two eggs pancakes bacon and sausage with a side of hashbrowns. My daughter had bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant with a side of hashbrowns. We left full and with smiles on our face from the delicious meal we just had. this visit I had three eggs hash we toast and home fries. We can’t be hash was among the best corn beef hash I have ever had. The home fries were delicious. I highly recommend this place even if you may have to wait in a line on the weekends it is definitely worth it!

I got 2 eggs, toast, bacon and homefries. Bacon was thick cut and delicious. The home fries had a bit of onion thrown in as well. Service wasn’t fast, but I was in no rush on a Saturday morning with a newspaper. Also quite cheap… the above food with coffee for $ 7.75. I’d go there again.

Nice breakfast place. Simply neighborhood nook. Food is good and staff is nice. I had the pancakes which was standard pancakes but no real maple syrup. Hubby had eggs homefries and sausage… good. I recommend to those who live in the area.

A breakfast diner for an area that needs it. My choice of steak and cheese omelette may have been a mistake. Large amount of steak which was flavorful but in long pieces that could not be easily chewed. Had to use a knife to cut the omelette into pieces. Oddly, each piece of toast had just a smidgeon of butter; one would almost need a magnifying glass to put so little on. Service was hit and miss. One waitress refilled my coffee in timely fashion. Coffee was so-so, I never expect much in a diner and wasn’t disappointed. Harry’s is a couple of steps away from being a great diner. However, being the only game in that part of town, the incentive may not be there to excel.

Above average breakfast fare. Tasty pancakes, home fries and eggs. Weekends get a little crazy. Service is always fantastic, and I have never felt rushed even when there was a line out the door.

Feeling hungry during the workweek and needed some protein. What better way, having bacon and eggs! The mid week specials come with coffee and are pretty reasonable($ 6.25). Ordered 3 eggs over easy, bacon & hash browns. Co-worker had the kielbasa omelet. Service was great,(Keri, who’s better than you) and I quickly had coffee in front of me with refill after refill after refill. Food came quickly also and was hot and tasty. Seriously though how can you screw up breakfast? My one knock is that the coffee could have been a little better. Nothing like having a good cup of coffee with breakfast and unfortunately this coffee was just okay. Weekdays are not as crowded as weekends and again, the waitstaff is friendly and fast! I’ll see you again soon.

I hate having to wait for breakfast with my family, but Harry’s makes it OKAY ;) Pam comes to you in line and offers you coffee or a drink or muffin. She tells you how long for your table. If more places did this… The food is cheap and tasty but the service is not

For years I’ve tried to go here but there was always a long line. Today we finally got in! Only to be underwhelmed. After ordering, we sat for 30 minutes with our brown water(that was supposedly coffee). The waitress then finally came to give us our check, then realized we had never received any food, and turned around without speaking to us. In the meantime, a woman and her children had gone to the restroom only to return and find their table cleared. Full plates of food… gone. Finally we received our food. Omelette was average. Home fries were just literally fried potatoes. No spices. No onions. Plain. Tasteless. My wife did enjoy her breakfast sandwich though. The waitress quietly dumped off the check while we ate. Clearly this place is more concerned with turning over customers than customer service or quality food. One and done. Not coming back.

Great local spot with real locals eating here! Went here for lunch but of course had to order breakfast. Ordered the two’s company which was two pancakes, two eggs, 2 sausage & two pieces of bacon. Came out perfectly hot. As if that wasn’t enough I had to order a side of corned beef hash. Delicious and homemade! Two other friends ordered breakfast, the breakfast burrito and eggs over easy and the other two ordered lunch which I heard was also good. Large portions so you will be full. Very reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere. Our waitress Abby was also awesome, took great care of us, was very attentive, friendly and chatty. Overall, a great experience where I will hopefully become a regular! Will be back soon.

Breakfast is by far my favorite meal of the day, so I always love finding new spots to eat at. Harry’s has great food and a friendly atmosphere. Came here after a race looking to refuel. I was able to order one of the combos, plus a single pancake since I didn’t want a whole stack. I like places that let you do that, instead of having to get a full order. Their coffee is pretty good too(deal breaker if coffee somewhere sucks. I need my caffeine with my food) my eggs were cooked well, bacon was crispy and the home fries were yummy. Bonus is even though the food is good and the portions generous, it won’t break the bank.

Let me first begin by saying — I love breakfast. That being said, Harry’s stands it’s ground as a very solid breakfast joint, especially considering the brunch options near West Roxbury and Roslindale. The food is consistent, everything on the menu is delicious, it’s reasonably priced, and the wait staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. (And they have hashbrowns AND home fries!!! WHAT??!) What more can I say? If you’re looking for a breakfast/brunch spot in the JP/Roslindale/West Roxbury area, look no further!!!

When I was pregnant, I craved their banana pancakes. They are perfect! The waitstaff is fast and nice, it’s super baby-friendly, and it’s close to our house! My one disappointment is if you order orange juice, they just hand you a container of it. Wish it was fresh squeezed.

Was visiting the area with a friend, We went to Harry’s a few times during the week. We would go very early at around 7AM. Every morning I was subjected to learn about a decapitated head found behind the local high school, I got to see live footage of a mom shrill as her son ran toward the train, all caught on live video, I also got to hear about the shooting that happened in Dorchester. Harry’s insisnts on having the«If it Bleeds, it Leads» local morning news on TV. Where fear and shock are one news report after the next. ANDLOUD! Thanks for keeping the television on so loud, it allowed us to watch Faces of Death as we had a breakfast. God forbid I could have gotten through the morning without hearing about how a husband shot his wife in the face a few miles down the street. Good morning to you too! I know it isnt Harrys that is making the choices on whats on the news broadcast, but is anyone there hearing what that news station is saying? What good is that to me? TURNTHECHANNEL! I come here almost every week for the same thing: the breakfast sandwich special. It’s bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel with coffee. I keep coming back because it’s such a good deal: just $ 5! The food is great, the coffee is well brewed, and the service is spectacular! It’s a very clean, kind of modern diner experience and I’m a huge fan. I’ll have to come back and have a sit down meal, because I’m always taking it to go and it’s located so conveniently off the 51 bus.
