Poor service, mediocre food, and overall blah experience. Didn’t even tell us we get chips as an option with our sandwiches. The sandwich took quite a while to make considering there was hardly anyone in the place, and it wasn’t worthy the $ 8. Subway is better.

Cute place, but terrible service and mediocre food. Shouldn’t take half an hour to make a weak sandwich when the place is pretty empty. What were they doing back there besides ignoring us?

If I was rating just the food I’d give it 5 stars! My girlfriend and I walked around Roslyn to find the best breakfast to be had and ended choosing The Red Bird Café. Service wasn’t really up to snuff as the hostess/cashier/waitperson(?) seemed to have difficulty understanding our easy off the menu order; my girlfriend and I received our hot food approximately 10 minutes apart from one another as well as our drinks. My friend received her food. Then I received my chai tea. Then I received my hot food(about ten minutes after my girlfriend got hers) and then she received her coffee. So that was odd, she certainly couldn’t wait for me before beginning hers as it would have been cold. To be fair though, we did order on separate tickets. Despite this odd delivery the food was amazing and large portions and we left feeling very satisfied and happy. Would definitely return. She had the breakfast sandwich which was served with ham and lots of bacon(despite requesting only ham… it’s okay we took the bacon back to the dog for a special treat.) I had the Bird’s Nest Stacker(filled with ham and havarti cheese! super yummy!) Tons of meat on both our breakfasts(in response to Kaleb’s review of skimpy on meat) … not our experience at all It was glutonously wonderful!

Best biscuits and gravy — love the vegan options as well as the meat options! Wonderful staff and location! See you on Saturday for breakfast!

The Red Bird is a really great café. My friend came over for coffee the other morning and brought scones and cinnamon rolls. They were super delicious:) I took a couple of friends in the other day and we had a very tasty lunch. We shared soup, salad, and sandwiches. They prices are reasonable and the ingredients are fresh. I really like that they always have a vegan soup offering. I would definitely recommend The Red Bird if you are in Roslyn:) ps. My friend stayed in the lodging upstairs. It’s called The Spruce Moose. She stated that she’ll be staying there from now on. Comfortable and reasonably priced:)

Cutesy sort of place with a «Precious Moments figurine» sort of atmosphere. Ordered the Glendo. Pretty skimpy on the meat.

We go here once a week at least to eat. We have tried so many things and every one of them has been amazing. My personal fav the chile rellenos and polenta on the breakfast menu! You can’t go wrong with anything. Everything is fresh and delicious!

Visiting my In-laws one town over and stopped here for an unexpected lunch. Seriously such a good philly cheese steak, which I almost couldn’t believe being from the east coast. Perfect hoagie bread too, and the fact that they use the word hoagies tells you something. My son had the quiche, soup and my mother in a nice tuna sandwich light on the mayo. The side salad could use a little work but it wasn’t on the menu we asked for greens. Nice service with friendly staff and a play area for the kids. Also the espresso is on point.

Terrific place. Friendly staff. Good coffee, which I had while waiting for the rest of our group to show. For lunch I had a cup of tomato bisque. Not my favorite. It was too thick and reminded me of pasta or pizza sauce. Will skip that next time. — I also had the bagna beef sandwhich and it was outstanding. Loaded up with meat, olive oil, and Tons of garlic. If you’re a garlic lover, you’ve gotta give this a try ! I know I will be back on a regular basis to feed my craving for this delicious sandwich.

We were coming back from Leavenworth. Usually always stop & eat at the Cottage Café. We saw the great reviews for the Red bird café in Cle Elum and decided to try it. We are so glad we stopped — the soup(coconut curry broccoli), & we were lucky to get the last 2 bowls and we split the bagna beef sandwich(small) both amazing!!! My husband scraped the last of his soup with some left over bread. The owner Amanda was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely be going here again anytime we are in the area

This is by far, the best place to eat in Roslyn. Really fresh, quality ingredients, and creative flavor combinations. I had the bacon apple butternut squash soup and the BLT. Husband had the bagna beef sandwich. Sampled a chili relleno they are considering as a new menu item. All delicious. Excellent really, and totally unexpected in this area. Good coffee(which is otherwise unavailable in this region). Picked up a cinnamon roll to go. Super friendly owners, great service. Cute place. Been to lots of places in the Roslyn/Cle Elum area, this is the best. If you’re staying at the resort, skip the over priced boring resort food and head into town! Affordable, good variety. Can’t go wrong.

Great assortment of daily made pastries homemade soup, biscuits and gravy. My favorite sandwich is the Glondo made from local meats on a soft imported hogie roll.

People very nice. Cute little place. My honey liked their coffee. Wonderful to find gluten-free and veggie options in this area. I tried two different soups — both were inspired! Very grateful to find them.

Great pastries and coffee for breakfast, great sandwiches for lunch. Most of the food is locally sourced. Stop here if you live nearby or if you are driving through Roslyn to go hiking or biking or snowmobiling. It’s a sweet spot.

Loved this place. Great sandwiches on top-notch hoagie rolls. White or wheat. The bagna beef(yes, as in bagna cauda) is packed with great flavor, a unique dish. The pineapple jalapeño aioli on the Porky Pine is super. Friendly owner, cool, local laid back place with great sandwiches. Salads look good, but didn’t order one.

This is a new café that excels in their Coffee! Best coffee in the area, including Cle Elum(and I am a picky coffee snob). They also serve sandwiches, croissants, and baked goods. They are located in an old victorian house and have a small town/cute atmosphere.

Delicious, freshly baked sweet and savory breakfast items served in a homey café. I won’t soon forget my cinnamon roll… Great coffee(Batdorf & Bronson) and innovative sandwiches with options for the carnivores and herbivores in our family. The kids had a great time in the play kitchen area. We will definitely visit again!
