Café Au Lait is a good, quick spot for the best coffee that I’ve found in the area and prices are very reasonable. It’s definitely a great alternative to Starbucks and local. The service is very straightforward, not overly friendly but everyone is working hard to get your drinks and food out quick and hot. My sausage and cheese croissant was just an average breakfast sandwich, but there was definitely something charming about the place. I’ll definitely be back for coffee on my way to work and for a quick bite in the morning. However, if you’re looking for a nice, sit down breakfast meal on the weekend, I would go somewhere else.

First visit. Late morning. No crowd. Best cup of dark roast I can ever remember having. Woke up every day for week craving it. Got breakfast special ordered, found a seat and waited for my order. It came quickly and I was happy. Got to chill for a while and relax. Like a mini vacay. I’ll be back.

This place is hoppin’ in the mornings. May have to wait a few extra minutes but overall the food and coffee are very good. Some mornings may be a majority of students before school but everyone is well behaved in this casual yet trendy local hot spot. If you’re not one for the«smell» of coffee you get blasted with at that famous chain coffee house then come here, just a pleasant normal smelling atmosphere. The family run business takes pride in all their offerings. Breakfast bagels are soft and tasty. Free wi-fi and great seating round out this go to place for morning refreshment.

Better than starbucks! Yum…just had my first coffee drink from here, I’ll be back. Hopefully when I’m hungry because they have quiche! I got a large iced Carmel latte, I think I paid around 7 bucks for it. I didn’t look. The atmosphere was nice. Lots of comfy seating. Lots of things to look at. Everyone in there seemed at home and comfortable

My wife and I have been coming here for over a year. The owners and staff are very nice and the menu is extremely well priced.

Stopped by this coffee shop when I was driving all around town. They were closing early to host a private event so I didn’t have time to sit and enjoy their atmosphere. I was able to grab a cup of light roast coffee to-go though. The prices are very fair; under $ 2 for my small coffee. They seemed to have decent options for drinks and some pastries as well. The crowd seemed to be high schoolers, but that may have been since school had just let out. I got the feeling that this is a family run place, since there seemed to be a mother-daughter team handling the customers. Interior consists of tables for four and sofas near a fireplace. It isn’t as cozy as a hipster coffee shop, moreso open like a restaurant. I would visit here again when they are not hosting an event and I have time to enjoy the coffee.

Great place to meet and have a casual personal and/or business conversation as the place is spacey and comfortable. I have been here quite a few times over the years, probably 10 or so, and never had a bad experience with the coffee or food, but I’m sure more regular customers have a better handle on that part of this café. I meet clients here to chat and share some coffee so the atmosphere is just right for me.

This is my favorite lunch spot on Holcomb bridge. Food always tastes great and I love the family run vibe of it all.

Love the breakfast croissant! This is our go to breakfast place. The staff is friendly and they have consistently good service and food. They coffee could be stronger, but it’s not bad. They have several healthy options. Family owned and operated. Shop local people!!!

Didn’t have a good experience. Our food was not fresh and seemed pre-made and old. No one came to ask us if everything is ok. Will not come back.

Such a sweet family owns this place! I used to stop in every morning for an iced coffee and bagel, but have since moved. Highly recommended! Their blueberry muffins are the best.

What a lovely place! Comfy recliners and couches, ornate paintings, very homey and welcoming. Prices are incredible. Haven’t tasted the food yet but it is rated very highly. They even have a drive through window! It doesn’t feel like they have much air conditioning, though.

My girl friend and I wondered into this restaurant the other day. I had been curious about this spot for awhile. I grew up in Europe so little Cafes’ are always on my radar. The service was nice enough and the atmosphere was generic for coffee shops. The food was AWFUL. I was so shocked to see the number of regulars that came in and out during my visit to this establishment. The food tasted like it was made by nursing home staff. The coffee was alot like motor oil. And the cost for the quality is certainly not there. It’s a bad day when the food you get a privately own coffee shop is trumped by Waffle House in food quality.

NOTFORME This little place has been on my radar for a while. It seems like a really cool addition to the neighborhood where people primarily come to socialize and just chill. My husband and I were in the area and thought that we would drop in for breakfast. It is semi-self serve, you place your order, seat yourself, and your meal is delivered when ready. My husband orders an omelet and I order the breakfast potatoes and the breakfast special. My eggs and bacon were fine, the toast was cold and the potatoes were very bland. The potatoes were very dry almost as if someone had attempted to dehydrate them and had no hint of seasoning. I like my breakfast potatoes seasoned with onion, salt and pepper and garlic is optional. My husband’s omelet was tragic, again no seasoning. I loved the décor in this place because in addition to the wooden dining tables, they also offered a comfortable sofa and armchairs situated in front of a fire place. This would be a great place to hang out if it was a «bring your own food’ and water café. The water was not okay!

A very spacious and homey feel to this coffee spot. We ordered iced coffee. The coffee was rather weak for my liking. The place can be spiced up a little bit. There are many breakfast foods to choose from. I’ll return to try them.

Ideal European-style café with One Great Surprise Café Au Lait is an ideal European-stye café. It’s a great place to get a cup of coffee and read a book you just checked out from the new East Roswell Library just built across the street, hang out with friends, enjoy a tasty breakfast or lunch or to get some work done if you’re into the whole being-productive thing. The restaurant itself is large enough that you can spread out if you need workspace or have a large group and the fireplace and comfy sofas make it a cozy place to relax when you want to just take it easy. What’s unusual for café’s like this is that Café Au Lait also sells Bubble Tea, which if you’ve never had one is certainly worth trying at least once! The free wifi doesn’t hurt either!

This place is great! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the cappuccino is excellent. I love the little fire place inside. It makes this a wonderful place to have a meeting, or to set up for an afternoon and work. There’s a menu and a lot of people go here for little snacks but I come just go to work and for the coffee. In this area, it’s definitely a way better option compared to Starbucks!

This is a wonderful family owned café in the roswell area. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is super cozy! You can go inside and choose to sit at a table or you can curl up in a comfy chair next to the fireplace with a fresh coffee or a hot tea and a book. The coffee is always fresh and they have their daily specials… i normally go with the dark roast! If I go for lunch I always get the chicken salad in some form. The chicken salad is the best that I’ve ever had. I love the combination of grapes, apples, & almonds. If you like chicken salad it is a must! The French onion soup is also very good. They have the French onion everyday as week as a soup of the day! Give this place a shot… It is actually very good and I love to support small, local, family owned businesses!
