Dental One Associates

I will never again go to Dental One Associates. I got an emergency appointment there on Tuesday. When I arrived they took X rays and the dentist came in, showed me the x rays and said, we need to extract this tooth and put in an implant. He explained the procedure, I asked questions, he said he couldn’t do a bridge, showed me some measurements and said I needed a consultation. He look at my tooth for 2 seconds and walked out the room never to return. This was my first red flag, why couldn’t you save the tooth? there was no visible decay or holes in it. I then went to check out and the lady immediately ran the numbers for the implant and quoted me $ 4852 and then said I could get a consult on Thursday. That turned into a consult and an extraction on Thursday for something around $ 500 (red flag #2). The only good thing I got was a prescription for pain killers and an antibiotic.
I was able to get an appointment the next day at a different dentist that was able to just give me a root canal and crown the same day. They also did a full exam, full x rays, and discovered the same problem on the right side. I will fix both teeth for around ¼th of what I was quoted at this office for one tooth. Never again.

I have been going to dental one associates for a few years. Both of my adult kids are going there as well. We have been very, very pleased with Dr. Toral and her staff. Very friendly and professional. My last experience though made me want to write a review about Dr Toral because she went above and beyond trying to get an old crown replaced before I moved to California. Her standards are very high and she wanted to make sure my new crown was a perfect fit so I would not get the same issues my previous crown caused me. She send it back twice and was able to get me the right crown the day before I moved. I recommended my best friend to her practice as well and she is extremely happy with her as well!
Thank you Dr Toral for all the hard work and your motivation and drive to make sure I had the right fit. Hopefully I will find a dentist just like you in California!

Efficient and friendly staff, but the place looked really dirty. Floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned or even vacuumed in weeks. And the furniture in the treatment areas is worn, with torn coverings. Has management put a penny into the place in years? It certainly doesn’t look like it.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They also gave me a great price and were very timely. Definitely recommend.

Anyone who reads my posting knows that I am not that hard of a grader, if you do what your suppose to do with a little courtesy I am pretty much a regular customer. Getting that out of the way I just got back for the dentist for a teeth cleaning, and as usual everything went fine. Karen, my hygienist has very gentle hands, and is a sweet pleasant person. Dr. Sheppard does good work and is a friendly guy. You can really tells he enjoys being there. My only negative comment is the magazines in the office are pretty bad. How about some Time, Newsweek, or sports illustrated?
