Happy to Return!!! I’m about 8 months behind on my update. I wanted to be fair and provide an update on my service. The Store Manager contacted me directly, about the incident from my previous post, shortly after my visit. He was very professional and apologized sincerely for the service I received during the incident. And confirmed that the employee at fault for the incident was removed from the organization permanently. He also offered to rectify the situation in any way he could. And was genuine in his interest to restore my satisfaction with the establishments service and product. On my very next visit another shift manager also apologized for the actions of the former employee. I do admit that the incident was an exception to the normal service I receive at this Firehouse Subs location. And I am very happy that the management quickly rectified this matter. Hats off to superb leadership! I am a happy customer back to returning and enjoying subs here atleast twice a month!

This location is really lacking in motivation or something. When you enter, you get a half sincere«Welcome to Firehouse». The floors are not filthy but very clearly haven’t been swept in a long time. The staff is checked out, looking at their phones while taking my order. It’s unfortunate that bad staff can make a good place unwelcoming. My order was made well but the negatives out weigh the positives. 2 out of 5

Have been a fan of Firehouse Subs since I started visiting several locations a couple of years ago. Food quality is consistently good. They do give you plenty of freshly sliced meat/other fillings in the sandwiches, and their hot sandwich items are a great option that some of the sub chains do not offer. This location has always offered great customer service, in all of our visits in last couple of years. Customers are always greeted as soon as they walk in. Food has been prepared quickly and served at your table with a smile. Takeout orders are ready just as quickly, never had anything missing or not cooked properly. Have never had a problem with cleanliness of dining area or restroom. Please keep it up! I’m always glad when a chain with reliably good food maintains good standards of service which would otherwise make me — sadly — have to move on to another location. BTW, I did want to write a nice positive review before I have to write another negative one… this location has deserved it and I am glad to provide it. Really, I prefer to write good ones rather than negative.

3.5 stars. In the sub wars you have Subway, Jimmy Johns, Jersey Mike’s, Firehouse and a field of competitors. Firehouse is a solid choice, certainly above the ubiquitous Subway in flavor and in experience. This particular store is clean and efficient and very conveniently located. The parking lot is tight and busy.

Always a clean store, lobby and bathrooms. The customer service here is excellent and my to-go orders are always ready when I get there. It’s your typical Firehouse but it’s the customer service that keeps me going back.

I have not visited a Firehouse Subs since they first hit the scene. I was disappointed on my visit to find that they only carry one type of chicken sandwich. Since it was my only option, I went ahead and ordered it. The time from start to finish was less than 5 minutes, so they did well on that part. I also love the Firehouse has the sauce bar. I made sure to get a couple new and whacky sauces that I had never tried. The sandwich itself was average at best and there was a fly in their food prep area, so I could not bring myself to rating this location more than a 3⁄5.

I love the Firehouse closer to my house(Ol AL) but we were in this area so decided to stop at this one. Not as good, very very smoky in there as well. Sandwiches for a med size seemed small. Wont go back to this location again.

Great location. Eat in this area all the time, but my favorite place to eat is Firehouse Subs. I love the under 500 calorie menu & the variety of sandwiches that they have to offer. Customer service was excellent & the atmosphere was inviting.

Food is really good. Had a great hot sub with turkey mushrooms and melted Swiss. WAY better than subway. Bread was really fresh and soft. Turkey has a great smoky taste. Restaurant overall not very comfortable… But no big deal. Couple of TV’s Look forward to my next visit.

Prepare for the slowest sandwich service in the history of the world. I love me some firehouse. But when I have to wait for a sandwich longer than the time it would take me to drive to the nearest grocery store, buy the ingredients, and then assemble it myself, I begin to question why I’m spending $ 13 on a sandwich. It hasn’t always been this way, but this location is generally the slowest I’ve ever been to.

Some people might say their subs are pricey. I say they are pretty darn good. Their sandwiches come out warm and full of meat — you are definitely getting value for your money. My favorite is the number 2 — that warm beef brisket practically melts in your mouth. Today I had their special — the hawaiian pork and slaw. The pork was very flavorful and tender. The slaw could have used some more flavor but it fit with the pork very well. It was odd to not get a sub here but it was delicious. They also have a good selection of bagged chips. They have one of those«a million mixes of soda» machines. The machine is kinda cool, but I don’t feel like the flavor is as good as a regular fountain. Plus there’s often a backup since there’s a big pause between people getting their sodas. I guess it’s ok if you eat when they aren’t busy. But the thing that brings it home about firehouse is their giant collection of hot sauces! They have dozens available to spice up your sub, and I love being able to try a new one every time I’m in. If you’re in the mood for a hot lunch, firehouse is a good choice.

This place couldn’t organise a fuck in a brothel! Literally took me 20 minutes to get my medium italian sandwich and it wasn’t even that busy! Seriously, how long does it take to put some cold cuts between two pieces of bread, wrap it up and be done with it?! And when I finally got it, it wasn’t any better than Quiznos or subway! Wouldn’t recommend this place unless you have the luxury of an extra long lunch break.
