Loved this place. I came in today for what I assumed was a sprained ankle but had been getting much worse over the past week. I am a stay at home Mom; my husband works long hours and we don’t have family nearby to help babysit so it’s very difficult to get in to see a doctor. I was in & out quickly but never rushed. Office is very clean. Everyone was very nice and professional. I loved the Nurse practitioner but can’t remember her name! It is great to know this place is close by and I would not hesitate to go back if I needed to.

I traveled to the Minuteclinic at the CVS across the street and it was an hour and 40 minute wait, so I googled the nearest urgent care, and Georgia Urgent Care popped up. This was 6pm on a Wednesday and the parking lot had 1 car in it, which made me skeptical, but I proceeded in with caution.
Everything was very impressive from that point. I was asked to come back as soon as I finished the paperwork. The nurse came to my room within a minute and took my vitals. The PA was in less than a minute after the nurse left to do my strep test. About 4 minutes later, she was back with my results and wrote my prescription. I was out the door in less than 15 minutes and had the prescription I needed. Everyone I encountered was kind and professional.
The next morning, they followed up with a phone call to check on me and even reminded me to throw away my tooth brush. I don’t expect much from an urgent care facility, but this place definitely exceeded my expectations!

It is unfortunate that some other reviewers had bad experiences here, I live nearby and with three young boys it seems like we make a visit to this urgent care at least once a month for various maladies/​sprains/​cuts and lacerations.
We have always had very little wait time, and the staff and physician have been friendly and professional. Due to my frequent visits I’ve also learned that this urgent care is only staffed with board certified ER docs, an added bonus. From my family’s experiences, I have nothing but good things to say and I’ve recommended Georgia Urgent Care to my neighbors and friends as well.

My husband and I have been here as walk-​in patients several times, as a result of various minor maladies.
Each time, we have had a less than 15 minute wait (I wait longer than that for scheduled doctor’s appointments most of the time). We love that they are open until 9pm. Staff is friendly and efficient and the doctors take time to provide good care.
Updated: the last time we went there, the doctor was BEYOND unprofessional. He gossiped with the nurses right outside of our door, and they urged him to be quiet! Never mind the taking time for care — he was saying he wanted to hurry it along with us and did the nurse ask all the questions so he could just write the prescription and run. One of the comments we overheard was an insult he directed at my husband, so even if we were staying in Atlanta, we wouldn’t go back and give that place another penny of our money.
