Fantastic place but unfortunately closed January 31, 2014. Fulton County School Board building an elementary school. The good news is the biggest and best dealers went to City Antiques and Interiors at 710 Holcomb Bridge Road! Less than 3 miles apart. Check out their 20,000 sq ft showroom and new courtyard. It is a bright and lively venue filled with outstanding goods at great prices. Something for everyone with their slogan being«A showroom for our dealers, a shopping experience for our customers and a home for our artisans».

I have a weird thing that I seem to do all the time when it comes to antique stores, and that’s to come up about an hour before close. Granted, this is usually because I see the store, and pull off the road impulsively, but I don’t do it to be a nuisance. I started exploring the store, and immediately noticed a dealer who has TONS of awesome knick knacks, all of which were BOGO. I immediately found something I liked, but upon further inspection, I saw a cute set of Japanese Saki cups with a Saki spout for $ 7.50 and snatched it up. I took it to the front of the store, and continued to browse, hoping to find another Saki collection at a comparable price. I didn’t, but I did find a really neat hand-cut wooden box from India for the same price. Keeping it on my persons, I had about 15 more minutes to explore the store before it closed. Or so I thought… 10 minutes to close, I was sought out and told that I needed to go to the front of the store and check out because they were closing. Okay, fine with me. But I wanted to at least get to the end of the store, which I did, before doubling back towards the cash register. And when I was there, I actually heard the workers talking about me. How I had been told to come and buy my things, spoken in a really aggressive manner to one of the other associates. Excuse me? I am not a rude person, not in the least. When I got there, I even apologized, saying something along the lines of how when I get in antique stores, «I’m like a kid in a candy store. I just get so excited.» «Mmmhm.» was the response I got. They had even also already shut down the registers, even though they knew I was coming back, and had to write my credit card information down on a piece of paper. Hmm. They had run out of tape in the receipt machine too, so I actually felt guilty for even purchasing anything. I’ll give this place another chance one day, and maybe even edit my review. But as it stands, they were not very welcoming to a 20-something year old wearing skinny jeans and having a tattoo, who came in an hour from close and even checked out 5 minutes before close. I’ve been to other antique stores where the people seemed thankful of my business, and even chatted with my when the store was closed about things.

It is pretty pricey and the staff are friendly. I like the café in the back!

been here a few times and only bought 1 piece in the past(a chair) — the prices can be a little in the medium to high range. you can definitely get lost here for a few hours. lots of fun things to see. my husband and i bought a vintage map — i see them online all the time but don’t want to pay shipping so i got one here for about $ 20. the staff is friendly. there’s a little café tucked in the back in case you get lost and need snacks/drinks(also a free water jug). huge variety here, such as: clocks, pianos, furniture, artwork, outdoor garden stuff, various knick knacks, etc. i love to spend a few hours here just to give my eyes some exercise.

First, you must know that this place has the best cheese straws I have ever eaten. They are made here fresh, and when they bake them, the whole place smells of that warm, comforting cheesy goodness. You MUST buy yourself a package if you ever visit her. Next, I LOVE walking around this market. It definitely is on the higher end price wise, but the pieces are lovely, and if you are looking for something special, you are sure to find it here. The staff is super friendly and helpful too. I have found many deals here, so don’t be intimidated by some of the larger price tags. It has an eclectic mix of little booths.
