My family loves it here always something fun to do. Best selection of canvas, pottery and mosaics in town. True family fun for all ages

Today I went into My Clayground to paint a gift for a friend. The atmosphere was great, and so was the service. Libby — the girl helping us today was as sweet as can be and incredibly helpful. I also used the $ 5 check in offer. If you are looking for a nice stress free environment to paint some pottery, I absolutely recommend My Clayground!(They also have other options such as glass fusing!)

THISPLACEWASAMAZING! The staff was so helpful and knowledgable! I rented the session for a day and threw a painting/party for my fiancé(at that time she was just my girlfriend). As a matter of fact, I proposed to her at the party! They made everything perfect. They explained to me that they had never done something like this done before. I can’t thoroughly convey to y’all how helpful and pleasant they were! About 30 – 35 people showed up to the event! A bit more then I was expecting for this surprise proposal. Nevertheless, the staff rolled their sleeves up and helped was everything! They helped get the kids started with painting, they helped set up the food I brought, they helped with decorations, they helped with clean up, and they even helped with getting something made for me to present to my, then, girlfriend. They made the painting so easy and fun! There were lots of different molds to pick from for the«inspiring artist.» All my guest enjoyed it! I HIGHLY recommend this place! Friends, family, colleagues and enemies alike(lol) can enjoy! Thanks u, My Clayground for all u did to make that night unforgettable! Ur staff will ALWAYS be embedded in our minds! We got engaged are ur establishment!!!

This place is fantastic! Since moving the East Cobb earlier this year, we have been on the lookout for pottery painting places as my daughter loves loves loves to paint a mug, plate, statue, anything. Ran across this place online and was very happy with the look and service which were top notch. The price was reasonable and I decided to do something myself as well. Additional plus was the Farmer’s Market on Thursday evening. Thanks My Clayground!

I have been to My Clayground a couple of times with my daughter and with moms and daughters from Roswell City Dance. It is always such a fun time. There is a lot of items to choose from and they are reasonably priced. The staff is very helpful and even though I don’t feel like I am very good at creating painted pottery or jewelry, everything I have done there has turned out great! Much credit goes to the staff’s help and suggestions. :-) I highly recommend My Clayground for a fun quiet afternoon with your kids, or for a party event. Love this place!

Really awesome staff, reasonable prices, and very good selection of projects. I had my 7 year old’s birthday party here, and all the girls had a great time. I was a little disorganized and last minute with planning, but the staff stepped in and smoothed everything out for me. Best birthday party I’ve ever thrown. Relaxing, fun, great atmosphere, and the projects the girls did were so cute! Highly recommended.

I’ve been to several of these paint your own pottery type places. While they tend to be the same format, the only difference I usually notice is in the price and selection of pieces. I picked up a few Living Social deals to try this location. Went on a Friday night in December with a friend for her birthday. I found the selection of pieces to be pretty good and prices were reasonable. I’ve seen much higher. The two girls working were very cool and helpful. They didn’t hover, but weren’t completely unavailable despite having two kid’s parties going on. They didn’t rush us out, even though we were there technically after closing hours and didn’t seem to mind. They even chatted with us a few minutes and thanked US for having the courtesy to ask if we were supposed to do any cleaning up. We didn’t, but hey… I’m considerate like that. Our pieces were done early the next week, which was a much shorter estimate than they gave us… but not sure it always works out that way. All in all, I would return if the opportunity came up. Nice people, good prices and the selection was a bit more varied than other places I’ve been. They also do glass fusing, for those interested in something else.

I admit it. As a former art student, I used to scoff, just a little, at those shops where you buy some piece of pre-fab pottery and paint it yourself. I saw the whole experience as a mediocre expression of artistry. But when, a few weeks ago, at the Sweet Apple Village street festival, I won a gift certificate to My Clayground, I was giddy as a schoolgirl. I don’t think I’ve won anything since winning a cookie container with a weird clown on it for guessing the right number of something in a jar in eighth grade. Today, toddler in tow, I visited the newly-opened shop, in the sparsely populated strip mall. Owner, Joanne, exudes quiet passion for her store. She gave us a full tour of all they offer, and is clearly knowledgeable and involved in every aspect of supply and operation. The store offers not only painting of figurines, plates, games, and other surprisingly innovative pieces, but designing and molding your own clay objects, and, my favorite, glass fusing. Joanne guided me in designing my own piece of jewelry using a wide variety of glass components, which she will fire for me. Meanwhile, her angel of an associate, Ashley, assisted my son in covering a figurine of his choosing in a wide array of paints. When I saw my possessive son grinning from ear to ear as Ashley carried him around the store, I knew we had found somewhere special. The process was simple enough to have me more relaxed then I’ve been in months, but creative enough to release the O’keefe within who has been screaming to be set free. How much can 20 bucks get you these days? Two tickets to paradise.
