Always willing to support local businesses I just wish they would be a bit more reasonable with prices. I understand they don’t have the bulk shipments but it would be nice to not feel ripped off. That being said, my kids love going on and being able to touch everything. I’ve left more then once with items not intended to buy.

A great home town toy store that always has what we are looking for as well as an assortment of new and exciting thing we haven’t seen before! Little one(2) and Big Boy(4) are able to play with all all the toys displayed at their height. I do have to stay on top of them to not open packages! So far we have brought home bubbles, tantrix blocks, a scratch art book, and a mini etch-a-sketch. Even if you arn’t looking to buy a huge toy, its a great place to go explore and pick up something small and special.

This is a very neat toy store. That have a few awesome things I have never seen anywhere else before. The women working the days I’ve gone are very helpful and friendly. They offer a rewards program, after 10 purchases(I believe) you get a discount. They also give your kids $ 10 credit to use for their birthday! I did find a ybike for my kid $ 15 cheaper at toy r us so you have to shop around, just like with everything else but in general it’s a great store and worth a visit.

The Truth is if you followed the Rainbow to it’s End, you would find Kaleidoscope Toys! What a Colorful Store with Hidden Treasures and Delights to be Discovered. Children of All Ages… Even those with wrinkles… will be at home here! The Toy Makers have their very best at Kaleidoscope Toys in Round Rock!

This place is pretty neat. Yes, they tend to be more overpriced than, say, ToysRUs or some other big toy store, BUT… it’s locally owned, and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable! To me, that’s way more important, and I’m willing to spend a few extra dollars for that sort of interaction. We found presents for every kid on our Christmas list this past holiday without any problems, including some awesome stocking stuffers. We will definitely hit up Kaleidoscope Toys first for future birthdays, etc.

My nephews LOVED their laser light rings and LED bracelets from here! They were the hit of the night last night! Score for the aunt and uncle, lol. Only thing is that one of the bracelets wouldn’t work consistently. Boo =(I’m hoping I can dig up the receipt out of the Christmas chaos pile and exchange it.

What a great place! I had gone there for years until my girl grew up and people would always say that it is expensive but if you look it is only a dollar or so over the internet and then you have to pay shipping and don’t get free gift wrapping! I would walk in there and ask for a toy for an age and within mintues I had a great purchase and was out the door. Many happy memories and a fabulous store:)

Great selection of toys you won’t find at the big stores. A little pricey, yes, but not outrageous. I always shop here for kid birthday parties… I know we won’t get the same thing as anyone else. Plus… they gift wrap FORFREE!

Recently discovered and a big fan! Now I don’t have to go down into Austin for unique toys and books — classics and different. Not your usual Target-fare. The owner is also very active on Facebook and Twitter, letting us know about special events and sales. The staff are very helpful, and as others have mentioned they gift-wrap for free. Which as a busy mom, is a huge help!

Lots of great toys. It is higher priced than , but you get to actually touch the product and see it before you buy. Plus, nothing compares to the look on a child’s face when you walk into a toy store. We will definitely be back!

This is a local owned toy store in Round Rock, it’s an amazing place to get a good quality educational toy. My most favorite thing about this store is the customer service is over the top, always friendly and helpful in finding the perfect gift. They also offer free gift wrapping, yes that is right even at Christmas. After Christmas they often have a buy one get one half off sale. In the summer and spring break they offer classes at have music. There are lots of under 20.00 gift options for birthdays. The cost is higher than walmart or toys r us but so is the quality

Mostly classic, mostly education, and always fun when you shop here. I always enjoy spending time in this quaint and local store. I enjoy supporting local vendors, and they tend to have the classic wooden toys that I enjoy introducing kids to. On some items the price may be a little high, but it is worth paying it since you will most likely not be able to locate it anywhere else. You can’t be the staff, their knowledge, or the loyalty they have for the kids.

I work close to this store so it’s easy for me to stop by from time to time. What I love about this store is that they have tons of item you will not find anywhere else. They focus on educational toys which I appreciate. The price is a little higher for these types of toys overall. But I have found that the prices are not far off for the same toy on the internet. It is possible to make it out of there under $ 20 if you are birthday shopping. You might just have to spend a little more time looking. They rotate the toys and items they have which I like. I have never had a problem with the staff and they are helpful but also not in your face while shopping there(which I appreciate). They have a birthday registry which I have used. You take your kid in, have them fill up a bucket of toys then they will keep them behind the counter until the birthday. Friends can come in and pick things out of the bucket. They also have free gift wrapping which ROCKS for me when I am buying the gift 10 minutes before we have to be at the party. The store is very kid friendly, they have plenty of example toys out for the kids to play with. If you get on their mailing list you can get 20% off coupons every couple months which helps with some of the bigger items. They also have several events each month, I have yet to go but they look like a lot of fun for the kids.

For the child who has everything, and we know a few. These are all those toys you won’t find at the mall, Toys R Us, the big retail stores. Some of it’s cool; some of it is overwrought and pretentious in its purported«educational value». All of it in my humble opinion is overpriced for what you get. Two cool things: if someone registers with a gift list it will be very easy because they hold all the toys behind the register. You don’t have to hunt for the toys on the gift list. Free gift wrap.
