How can you own a liquor and wine store and not know a thing about wine? Instead of sitting at your laptop and watching movies why not do some research on the business you work in???

Stopped in here to grab a six pack for the evening. Walked right back out a few minutes later. Way overpriced and a tiny selection. Sorry, but no way am I paying $ 8.50 for a six pack of Shiner. On a positive, the guys behind the counter were really friendly.

I too have moved away. I loved this store and the owner. He was always so nice a helpful. He always kept in stock my special drink. If you are looking for something in particular he will get it for you. Thanks –D

After I move I’ll miss running over to see my buddy at TOP Liquor for a bottle of wine when Spec’s seems so daunting. If you’re not a wine snob a place like Spec’s can leave your head spinning. Do you like bold wine? Red, white, green? Pinot or Merlot? How much do you want to spend? After long days of decision making and information overload the last thing I want to do is spend an hour sniffing and discussing. Buy 2 or more of the same kind of wine and he’ll give you a 20% discount. The selection is very limited but offers your standard bottles and the prices are competitive with Spec’s. Plus he’s small, and local and sometimes it’s good to help out the little guys. True confession: I’ve never bought beer here because I’m a beer snob and I will spend an hour sniffing and perusing the beer isles at Spec’s. What? You thought I was judging you winos? No way.
