Willis Permian Movers

to whom has read the review that i made, the review was for another mover. i am so sorry that i gave the wrong company such bad review. it was another mover that wasn’t very helpful. i am relocating and have interviewed different moving companies.
tucker briscoe, at willis permian movers has such outstanding customer service and he (bekins) is the company that i am going with. bekins has moved me numberous times, the first time was 1972 and the last was 2006.
i trust mr. briscoe, sir i am so sorry that i gave you and your company a bad review, by mistake. please forgive me?

This is absolutely the WORST moving experience of our lives. I would strongly suggest to never ever use this company. The loading crew was unprofessional and incompetent. We have to file a claim for SO much damage to our items. Simple things like wrapping tables in furniture pads to prevent damage they failed to do. They failed to box our mattress, secure the drum to our washing machine, properly pack a stained glass lampshade that ended up shattering. I could go on and on. These guys have no business being in the moving business.

We used Willis Permian/​Bekins for a move to New York at the beginning of the year after receiving much higher estimates for the same services from the other major national moving companies. I was impressed with the level of customer service I received from Willis Permian, beginning with the in-​home estimate and through the delivery of our shipment. Other companies were having difficulty accommodating our intended move dates around the holidays, but Willis Permian didn’t once suggest there would be any difficulty in meeting our needs. When a winter storm hit New York State around the first day of our delivery window, the driver began making regular contact to let us know when to expect him. The weight estimate they provided for our shipment was lighter than the estimates provided by other companies, but ended up almost exactly matching the real weight. Everything arrived in great shape and all of our furniture was put back together expertly.

These guys are fantastic! They came recommended from a Bekins moving agent that my family used. Matt Stricklen was the agent that came out and gave us a quote (half of what the «other guys» quoted us) and was there the day of moving. There were three guys to help us move from our apartment to our new home. Matt was great about working out the schedule for the day with us. We had to go to our closing at 11 am, they were at our apartment, on time, at 8 am. We were able to close, meet some family for lunch, and head to our new home, and the movers were there within 15 minutes. Talk about timing! All of our things were treated with care, wrapped properly, and unloaded with the same respect — completely professional. I have used many other movers, and these guys are top notch (and reasonably priced)!

I was a bit skeptical at first to try Willis Permian Movers out since I hadn’t heard of them before (I am not originally from Texas), but they came recommended by a friend, so I thought I would give them a shot. These guys were awesome. It started by getting a good deal on boxes. On the day of the move, they showed up on time (which is becoming a rare thing these days) and completed the job in record time. I was impressed by their overall professionalism. They took great care in making sure nothing was broken or ruined, put down mats to protect the floors, and overall made me feel comfortable with the whole process. I couldn’t have been happier with my choice and would recommend them to anyone looking to move. I have done it myself far too many times and I am glad I finally broke down and decided to hire professionals this time. Never again will I do my own moving, this was so much better.
