Super sad when you search for«steak» in this area and four seasons is basically first on the list. And why would this food court restaurant rank higher than a similar sizzling steak place in the vicinity? We dined here out of curiosity and it would have been super awesome if it was good because this would truly make this a hidden gem. It’s priced ok if it was good but it was poor quality and chewy meat covered in a blob of sauce. Cash only.

Quality steak at an affordable price. The steak is cooked to perfection and the service is great. The best part is that you don’t need to leave tip, but I always do because I’m always satisfied with the food and service. I recommend this place to anyone!

I was in the area running errands and suddenly remember this place. It has been a long while since I had taiwanese style steaks and I was pretty excited. I ordered #6 as per recommendation with medium rare. Owner was friendly and made sure I wouldn’t faint if I saw blood in my steak. The meal costed $ 15 exact after tax and I grabbed an empty seat in the food court. First I got a corn soup which was not that good. It was way starchy but I was hungry so I ate it rather fast. Then I got my steak. It was average tasting and for a slight moment, it reminded me Taiwan. The black pepper sauce was pretty good but the meat was chewy and there were a lot of fat on it. Then I noticed the next table got garlic bread but I was never offered. So I went up to the counter and asked for the garlic bread. They told me it would be $ 2 extra if I wanted it. At the same time I saw a Unilocal review for the same price and he got the salad, the soup and the bread! I don’t know if I just showed up at the wrong date, but I was not impressed for sure. All and all, food was overpriced for what I got and I would save my lunch adventure somewhere else in the future.

I absolutely love weird ass places like this… think random food stall in a semi defunct food court in the middle of Rowland Heights serving up cheap but tasty steak meals with a side of spaghetti and an egg? Yup, did I mention it all costs only like $ 15 total and you also get soup, salad and garlic toast? RIBEYESTEAKINBLACKPEPPERSAUCE W SPAGHETTIANDEGG It all comes out looking way worse(I’ve seen similar colors come out of my 1yr old baby) than it tastes(quite good). That being said the steak was sizzling medium rare and you can cook it a little extra on the hot plate if its too rare. Spaghetti is pretty good with the mushroom sauce and you can even fry up your own egg practically. Decent quality meat for the price and I had so much leftover food I ate it all as my next meal and was quite satisfied. Don’t judge a food stall by it’s gloomy surroundings. Give it a shot.

Came here today for lunch with my three nieces. Let’s define the sauce options. Mushroom sauce is non-spicy and kid friendly. Black pepper sauce is a bit/mild spicy. We ordered the Ribeye-n-egg and Newyork-n-egg combos with spaghetti. First off, the spaghetti pasta was cold, and I suppose the sizzling plate was suppose to warm it up with the hot mushroom sauce drizzled on top… not even close! The Ribeye steak was decent, however the New York steak was underpar in itself. I’ll just leave it at that, you can imagine my disappointment. For practically the same price, I suggest new customers to go for the Ribeye all the way. Salad with house dressing(it was like a mix of thousand island and honey mustard) was decent and house special chowder soup was decent as well. Garlic bread was excellent toasted with perfection being very flavorful and perfect amount of butter. Drinks around here in the food court are underpar. I suggest grabbing something from Ten Ren or Starbucks before dining here, or opt for the complementary ice water. Nothing else matters.

Best place to get Taiwanese steak in la. In fact may be the only place. The sauce is the key – mildly sweet tangy sauce, which is vegetable based sauce.

As a Taiwanese, I really don’t like this place at all as the food is bland especially the soup and papaya milk I got. The steak I got which was the house special, wasn’t that good either as the sauce is not strong enough though beef is pretty tender.

Very good steakhouse. The steak is done the Chinese or Asian way, with lot of sauces and rices or pasta. Order the steak medium rare is the best choice as the very hot metal plate with cook it up to medium.

The steaks here are huge & very tender! And don’t forget, it’s CASHONLY. ~Location It’s located in the food court of the Pacific plaza. Parking isn’t difficult because they have their own private lot. ~Service The service was great. The ladies that brought out our steaks were very friendly & would warn us to be careful of the super hot pans. ~Food Like I said earlier, the steaks are huge and they come out in sizzling hot pans. I got the rib eye steak & fish fillet combo($ 18.95) which came with and egg and a choice of either rice or spaghetti. You also get to choose between the black pepper sauce or mushroom sauce. I got a medium rare and it was surprisingly quite bloody compared to what I thought medium rare was. But that wasn’t a problem because the sauce & pan were still very hot, so I was able to cover my steak with the sauce & that cooked the meat a little longer. The fish fillet was tasty too! My brother & dad got each got a rib eye steak(about $ 14⁄15 each). And they were both ginormous. Oh & they give you a little basket of garlic bread & for every meal you order, it comes with a corn soup & salad. Overall, I will come back!

If there’s one thing that the Taiwanese do best, it’s sizzling steak. It’s quite the sensory overload with the smell of freshly cooking meat wafting, the sound of that wonderful sizzle and of course, the taste of hot steak smothered with sauce and pasta. After a most atrocious experience at the recently closed Steak Out in Arcadia, I had just about given up on finding good Taiwanese sizzling steak in the 626. However, after coming across Four Seasons, I decided to give it another try. I ordered the rib-eye with mushroom sauce and pasta on the side. The steak came out super hot with an egg and was cooked just the way I liked it. In fact, so hot that you may want to sit back for a few minutes until the tiny bits of hot oil stop jumping off the plate. They also give you a generous helping of pasta with enough sauce to go around. For $ 16, the price seems steeper than average but based on just how much food you get, I’d say it’s pretty worth it. The steak is preceded by soup, salad and garlic bread to keep you satisfied long enough for them to bring out the food to you. Definitely a must-try if you’re looking for the sizzling steak experience!

Pleasantly surprised by this place. It’s in a food court that seems kind of… dead? Slow? Doesn’t seem like much foot traffic comes through. This place is very Taiwanese and I was a bit skeptical based on the location but I’m glad we tried it out! First off, cash only so bring money! The dinners came with soup, salad and garlic bread. The garlic bread was awesome. I wish I had more. The ladies working were very helpful and explained the different plates and said the most popular were the rib eye steak(#4) and Filet Steak(#9) the difference is rib eye is more fatty. When the plates come out they’re piping hot and sizzling so be careful. The egg is raw so I tried to flip it over to cook the other side. Taste was good. Flavorful and the meat was well cooked. I’d recommend this place. If you use google maps, it takes you down a residential street for some odd reason but it’s in the I think Pacific Plaza in the food court at the corner.

Taiwanese Steak at it’s ultimate best! You can’t get find any better Taiwanese food in SoCal other than in the 626! If you like decent quality steak for a great price, this is the place to come– with cash. This place is in the dead corner inside a food court in a pretty quiet plaza so I would have never discovered this place without the help of Unilocal!TY One thing to keep in mind is that the food comes in sizzling hot plates! I suggest that everyone wait at least 10MINUTES before digging in! Eat with your eyes first. Take pictures and update your social media and whatnot if you have to because you will get burnt and your meal is still cookin. Every order comes with a corn soup, salad and two garlic toast. Ribeye Medium Rare $ 15 — I got medium rare, but I got too excited and cut into my steak and it was rare rare! But steak eventually turned into medium rare so I can’t complain about that. The steak quality was very good for what you pay for! I love the pepper sauce — which I will be asking for on the side next time. The mushroom sauce on the spaghetti is amazing too! I would also like to add that the ladies who work here speak fluent English and they are super friendly! Huge plus in my book :) I highly recommend this place for a casual steak dinner!

First off, CASHONLY. Had I read more reviews I would’ve known and been prepared. But alas, I had not a single bill on me at the time. Cashier politely suggested an ATM at a store called Takashima a few doors down. Saw a bunch of strange assorted items, but no ATM. I headed back to my car and thankfully my wife had some extra cash on hand. Secondly, hard to find. It’s located in Pacific Plaza off Colima in a gray Dutch castle-looking building not so fitting for an Asian establishment. Having done at least some research on Unilocal beforehand, I was on the lookout for an indoor food court. In the midst of the plethora of Chinese characters, none of which I can read despite 2 semesters of Mandarin in college, I saw a sign in the back right corner, «Food Court,» and made my way in and headed for the back right. At least I picked a good time of day and didn’t have to deal with any crowds as i was the only one there. Back to item #1. For my efforts of hunting down cash, the cashier must’ve felt sorry for me and comped me a Coke. Wife and I opened our styrofoam to-go boxes in the car to find it full of a heaping amount of meat topped generously with sauce. By the way, nice of them to cut up the meat for us, knowing it’d be kinda hard for us to cut up a full steak on styrofoam. I got the rib eye with black pepper sauce and wife got the fillet with mushroom sauce, both medium. As all the photos demonstrate, they don’t hold back on the sauce. Now I love sauces in general, but you have to wonder what this is compensating for in the steak. Wife said flavor, but I couldn’t confirm that. My pepper sauce was A1-esque which I enjoyed, and hers was more of a tomato cream sauce. Ironically I tasted more mushrooms in mine than in hers. Regarding the steak itself, you know how your body actually burns more calories digesting celery than it gains from it? Well, that’s how we felt chewing our steak. A clear indication of inferior quality meat. Perhaps we should’ve gone for medium well instead. The complimentary soup was baffling, seemed like more corn starch than corn. The fried egg on the side was disappointingly hard over hard rather than the more runny sunny side up I saw in the photos. The noodles I got(you have a choice of rice or noodles) was an interesting take on spaghetti. I personally liked the tomato cream sauce, but I can see how my wife thought it had a spoiled smell to it. Total damage: $ 29 and sore jaws. Overall… –1 for sore jaws, –1 for cash only, –1 for price despite cash only, –1 for strange soup & hard egg +1 for large meat portions, +1 for good service.

For a steak place in a strip mall/food court, it’s not bad, actually decent. I love steaks so if u compare this to any 4 – 5 star restaurants you’ll be disappointed for sure. Personally, I would rather spend the $ 14 on a Costco steak and cook it myself.

Unilocal brought me to this gem inside a strip mall.(food court) We ordered a ribeye hot plate and filet hot plate. They asked if I wanted black pepper or mushroom sauce. It comes on top of the steak and I requested the back pepper sauce on the side. Ribeye with pasta $ 14– Filet with rice $ 14 *Both plates come with an egg sunny side up* We sat down and the lady(possible owner) brought us complimentary garlic bread, some kind of cream soup with corn and water. The food comes sizzling on a hot iron plate. We ordered both steaks medium but it was a little odd that the the Ribeye came out medium rare and the filet well done… I thought it would be the opposite since the thickness of the filet would take longer to cook. The steaks isn’t really seasoned and I think it’s because they pour your choice of sauce on top. The sauces are on the thicker side compared to other restaurants that offer those sauces. I usually like my food on the blander side so it doesn’t bother me…

Bang for your buck! Ribeye is the way to go. Or if you’re fancy you can get the land and sea thing. This is a mom and pop shop. I’m happy to know that it’s still standing even though everything around it seemed to close down. You pick what dish you want, pay, and choose your seat in the food court. For about 10 bucks you get a good chuck of meat. Black pepper or mushroom. Pasta/rice. Salad. Soup. The sauce is tasty and the meat is decent for the price. This will get you full. I’m almost never able to finish my food. It looks like poop in pics but it taste goooood. Cash only!

This is a Hong Kong Steak restaurant inside a food court. As the name suggests, everything on the menu are steak like dishes such as rib-eye or NY steak. The steak is covered in a curry like sauce and you can opt to get it spicy or non-spicy. Its served on an iron skillet and comes out sizzling hot. Most steaks run about $ 15 after taxes. I had the #6 rib-eye steak($ 15). It was OK. I opted to get it medium and it was still bloody. I had to wait for the steak to cook on the skillet for 2 – 3 mins before I ate it(afterward it was fine). PROS: –Comes w/lots of sides. Salad(average), garlic bread(average), corn soup(average). –You can opt for spaghetti or white rice. I’d recommend getting pasta; the pasta is pretty good. –Steak tastes okay, 3⁄5 decent. CONS: -$ 15 for a steak. –My steak came out bloodier than I hoped(at medium, was still bloody in the middle). I had to wait a few mins for the steak to cook on the skillet before eating it. After waiting the steak tasted pretty good. TIPS: –Located in a food court, in same plaza as Newport Seafood.(or adjacent to Hong Kong Supermarket) –Be mindful how you want your steak cooked. Go «1−2» levels higher than what you’d prefer, as the steak has a tendency to be on the bloody side.

Me and my bf have been coming here for about 5 months and is great! When we first tried to find it, it was tricky. Located inside the plaza; in the food court. The portion is pretty big for one person but so delicious. We usually get the ribeye steak. For the price to what you get, its a deal. Sizzling steak cooked to the way you like. Service is nice and attentive from everyone there. The cook(I think owner) is anyways there with a friendly face. His wife does the register.

I came here for dinner today and enjoyed my experience more than I thought I would! I ordered a ribeye steak plate with mushroom sauce to share with my beau. For a free appetizer, it came with starchy delicious corn soup that probably only had like 8 actual corn kernels in it, a thousand island salad, and 2 slices of garlic bread. We ordered the steak to be medium but it came out looking suuuper rare with blood running all over it. But It was delicious anyway and I bravely ate a couple bites. Definitely order the meat more cooked than usual. The main thing I really enjoyed here was the pasta though! The mushroom sauce really makes for some delicious pasta! Basically we paid $ 14 for a satisfying meal for 2 where bf ate the steak he had been coveting and I ate good pasta. Next time we come we will probably order sauce half and half so he can eat black pepper steak and I can eat mushroom pasta !! This is a good idea and a good deal!
