Jasmine green tea is deeeelish. The drinks are fresh and refreshing and I love going here after a long day of work!

I love coming here for matcha milk tea with mini Bina’s and grass jelly. If you check in on Unilocal they offer a free upgrade from regular size to large. Couple of days ago I picked up spicy beef ramen and Tonkatsu Ramen for dinner. The wait is about 10 – 15 mins, the ramen was really good. I would definitely come back here again if I ever want some quick ramen!

This is our family go to place for a quick meal with good boba drinks. My sons like the popcorn rice combo or the teriyaki bowl. The portion is perfect. They have great friendly service and the chef is a comedian(in a good way). The restaurant is inside 168 market. Keep in mind, this is an express restaurant, there is no waitress/waiter waiting you. You order the food and when the food is done, your number will be called for you to pick up. There are tables available for you to seat and dine in just like a food court. If you want a relax and causal dinning, this is your place.

Came for the free upgrade! Gotta say, it’s the same as Ten Ren’s, so I’m not complaining. Got my peach green tea with boba and no sugar, and it tasted like what I expected. The boba was a little better average — it was chewier and sweeter, which I liked. Haven’t tried their food yet, but if it’s the same as Ten Ren’s, I’d expect it to be good. If I’m ever in 168 and need a drink, I’ll drop by!

Little hidden gem in the 168 market. Came here after my kids tae kwon do and had dinner here and tried one of their milk icees. I love the caramel ice with black jelly and pudding. Taste so much better than half and half and there is no wait. The service is also very good, they are attentive and the place is very clean.

I’ve been coming here for a while now every time I go home for the weekend. Since it’s in 168, I can get a drink while my parents shop for groceries. Their teas and milk teas are great! However, their Royal Milk Tea is on the stronger side(not sure if they use Earl Grey). Their Thai Tea Teazers are in the weaker side(due to the ice). Their Milk Icees are tasty and very sweet(good for my sweet tooth)! Haven’t tried their food, but maybe one day I’ll opt for it over McDonald’s. They sometimes run out of boba or some other topping, but they do try to compensate by offering a different topping. Check in for a free upgrade!

So… I’ve gone twice more since my first visit. Guess you can say that I like it, lol. Last two times I ordered the braised pork snack. It’s a bowl of rice with a tiny portion of pork w/cilantro on top, marinated egg and garlicky pickles. Delicious! Second visit was better than the first. First visit I was served the top layer of dried and crunchy rice mixed in. The older gentleman that prepared it probably was saving the company a penny… Didnt stop me from ordering again though. Second visit ordered extra pickle. Yum yum! Rice was perfect this time, too. Maybe I can pay for extra pork next time. Will go back for more!!! PS the fruit green tea with half sugar is an addiction!

This place is inside 168 market and is owned by Ten Ren, from what I’ve heard. They don’t have a vast variety of food selections, primarily since it’s a smaller establishment than Ten Ren’s. However, their braised pork and popcorn chicken are pretty good. Not bad for snacks and small eats. Since they’ve closed down the Guppy House by puente hills mall, this place is not bad for an alternative, especially if you don’t want to deal with parking and traffic by Fullerton to go to Ten Ren’s in the Diamond Plaza. Also their drinks are pretty consistent.

I’m really glad I tried Tea Time Express inside the 168 market. If I’m not mistaken, it’s parent company is Ten Ren’s Group. What makes me so happy about this place is that it is SO much cheaper than Ten Ren’s and it serves the exact same thing. I can get a small green milk tea with boba for $ 2.99 here, where as at Ten Ren’s I’m pretty sure it’s a little over $ 4. This particular location also has a free upgrade to a large size if you check in on Unilocal!$ 2.99 for a large boba? Yes, please! Beverages come out pretty fast.

They have iced sweet tofu dessert! Not many places have my favorite Taiwanese dessert so I was really excited. We got two sweet tofus with boba, grass jelly, red beans, and taro, and all of the ingredients are fresh and tasty. The syrup they used is a bit too gingery for me, but I still liked it!

A bit in the pricey side for their portions(very similar to Ten Ren’s), but it’s a good place to stop by for lunch or to grab a quick drink. I come pretty often, so I hope they’ll adopt a stamp card system soon !

Very unprofessional employee. They have a promotion for check-in on Unilocal for free upgrade but put it in the corner by the pick up area. Not only that the employee Justin didn’t even bother to fix it for us. Only reason it is not a 5 star is the lousy service provided. Maybe I’ll come back for another try next time and redo this review

Who would have known this was even here! I wanted to explore the market and found this little hidden gem. I have always been a Ten Ren fan, so I naturally liked this place. It’s still new and you can tell they are still working out the kinks. The prices for the meals are cheaper, but the drinks are the same price as regular Ten Ren’s. WEEKLYSPECIAL: They do a weekly special-each day of the week there is a bento box special of the day. If you order that special, then you can add their house tea for an additional dollar. Cool option to have. PICKLEDMUSTARDGREENS&PORK W/NOODLES: It tasted exactly how I expected. I would order it again. It is cheaper, but it doesn’t come with any sides. They have additional chili oil if you ask for it! JASMINEMILKGREENTEA: I ordered mine half sugar and it came just like how Ten Ren’s would taste. They have a sign saying that they are currently adjusting their sweetness-I guess there were complaints of drinks being too sweet? This was perfect and refreshing as always! Boba quality is also good!

I came to this location to buy 2 drinks. This store is new inside 168 market in the same plaza with The Noodle. Tea is pretty good. Haven’t tried other stuffs. Price is reasonable like the other Ten Ren.

I’ve tried this place a few times, but today decided the restaurant’s fate for my returning business. Don’t get me wrong; the food is not bad, but on the pricey end with small portion. The drinks are okay. WHYAM I NOTCOMINGBACK? So I ordered my food and sat down waiting for my number to be called. There was 5 orders ahead of me; this is important because it determine how efficient they were. 1COOK and 3WAITERS. NOT efficient! haha. While I’m waiting for my food, the table across me got their food. One of the guest stands up with her pork on rice bowl and tells the waiter«my food is cold» can you heat it up. The waiter replies«Sorry, we’ll take care of it for you. While they call off numbers, the lady to my right goes pick up her food. She goes up and tells them«it’s for TOGO not HERE». So they make her wait… and wait… and wait. She goes up and said«Couldn’t you toss it in a TOGO box?» They replied, sorry the food you order needs to be re-cooked and separated. Then they make her wait. and wait. and OH. they call me for my food. FUNPART I got my beef noodles and sat down to taste the soup. needs a little bit vinegar cuz I like it sour! I go up to get the vinegar(which I’ll post the pic up) and my jaws dropped with disgust. I saw a fricken dead fly in the vinegar. YUCK! Eww!!! BLAAAH!!! I stood there holding the vinegar; while I stood there. none of their problems with the TWO ladies was resolve yet. I’m talking about 10−15mins in! LOL. While I’m still STANDING, no one asked W T F i wanted until I hinted. It was like I’m invisible to them and I just felt like standing at the counter. One of the waiter comes and I told the person there’s a FLY in the vinegar. The person apologizes and placed the vinegar on the back table. I thought they had another vinegar to give me but nope… I just sat down instead of waiting. WHILE all this is happening, they are running around like«headless chickens» trying to figure out what order tickets next and what’s going on with problem orders. Finally they fulfill therr problem orders. I was paranoid at how they were going to replace the vinegar so I STARED down the vinegar bottle. GUESSWHAT… the person takes the vinegar. DUMPS it. goes and get the bottle vinegar and REFILLSTHESAMEJAR! What’s wrong with this picture! THATPERSONDIDN’T EVENFRICKENCLEANTHEDAMNJARTHEFLYWASIN! haha… The person came back with the vinegar and I just said I don’t need the vinegar anymore. If this is how they are with FOOD, I am VERYHESITANT in trying their DRINKS. p. s. The noodles tasted good; if i get sick from it. I’ll update you UnilocalERS! –peace out!

You can always count on Ten Ren’s for good food/drinks. Although I’m sad that there’s now only one American supermarket in Rowland, they really updated the place with 168 Market and the small shops inside. This is the perfect place to go after running errands around the plaza. It seems a lot of modern and American than other Ten Ren’s. I guess that’s why there’s a slight name difference. For their grand opening, Tea Time Express is offering special discounts throughout the week. For example, one of the deals today was $ 3 dan dan noodles, normally $ 5.25. I ordered one to-go. For $ 3, the noodles are great. They had good texture and were ready within minutes of me ordering. Quantity-wise, it wasn’t a lot, but it is definitely enough if you order a drink or snack(like popcorn chicken or fish balls!). For the regular price, I would probably still get the noodles from time to time, but take it to-go to save on tip. There were two things I wished were different from my trip. First, I wished they would have asked me was if I wanted the noodles spicy or not. I like my dan dan noodles very spicy, but I forgot to ask. Most places usually ask when you order for the spiciness level. Second, when using the touch pad for my meal, the man working the cashier stared at the screen as I awkwardly pressed«no tip.»(Sorry, but I refuse to tip on to-go orders.) I don’t think he was trying to pressure me, but maybe he didn’t know that the typical convention is to look away. Anyway, I definitely recommend coming here and checking the supermarket out. Just be careful when parking.

So glad they just opened up this new location! Located inside the 168 Market, you can’t miss it! Slightly different look and feel from the traditional Ten Ren’s Tea Time, but it’s got the same consistent quality of tea and flavors. Love it! :)
