What I experience at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Rowlett Tx. KFC ask; How are we doing? I’m asking them, How do they think you are doing after reading this? The manager for my last three visits has refused to give me my senior discount. He says that because I’m ordering the special that comes with the bucket of chicken and two mash potato’s, I can’t get a senior discount because I’m already getting a discount with the order. On my last visit I confronted him about a senior discount being given because of age and not based on what I was ordering. He reluctantly gave me my discount. This all took place in the weeks before my last visit. Tonight, 2÷29÷16, I once again went to KFC and was never treated so badly by anyone, ever. I ordered the 2 mash potato deal but when I got home I had the 8 piece meal with one mash potato. Also every time I have the wings substituted for legs because no one eats wings. When I returned to KFC I was told that, even though my receipt stated the 2 mash potato deal along with the substutitions, the manager changed my order because I ask a senior discount. I can’t believe the manager took it upon himself to change my order and Quote: «I would not be getting the other mash potato, because I choose the senior discount». In my protest he told the kid to give me the legs for the wings but not the extra mash potato’s. I got my money back and left. We eat there 2 to 3 times a month and love KFC but I cant believe the manager changed my order and decided to give me what he wanted me to have instead what I ordered because I ask for the senior discount. Who does that? So, you tell me how your doing. Thank you for your years of service. Unfortunatly, we have lost our trust in that particular resturant, and would be scared to eat there again because if the manager will do what he did, we can’t be sure what else he my be capable of. So again, Thank you for your years of service.

The buffet is always great here. The employees are very attentive and friendly. I went there about 7 times and only 1 time the chicken were a bit dry for some reason. Make sure you call ahead during summer time because they closed the buffet down early due to high electric power consumption and the summer heat (They still take regular orders during the shutoff period). They pick up the phone sometimes or it will go directly to a fax tone. Its worth the 30min drive whereever you are.

I highly recommend eating here… if you want a little extra protein with your chicken.
We took our family out to the buffet tonight. Towards the end of the meal my wife noticed something in her food. What she picked out of her food sent me running to the bathroom to vomit. (I wish that was a joke.). She picked a wriggling maggot out of her food. It was the single most disgusting thing I have ever seen in a restaurant.
When brought to the manager’s attention he offered no apologies, instead he said he would «notify his suppliers». When pressed further to remove the tainted food from the buffet, he refused and became annoyed with us. We demanded a refund and he reluctantly obliged, but only with the receipt. In our haste to get out of Kentucky Fried Maggots, my son threw the receipt in the trash. The manager would not issue the refund without the receipt. He handed my wife gloves while I was in the bathroom vomiting and made her pick through the trash to retrieve the receipt before issuing the refund.
This is the single most disgusting place that I have ever seen and the management is incompetent at best. We will NEVER be back and will be contacting corporate to have them do something about this cesspool of an eatery. I advise they start their overhaul with the manager who left maggot infested food on the buffet for others to eat.

I love KFC! Especially this one because it’s all you can eat! Never had a problem with this location until today. I came in with my parents who are both 65 and up, so I asked if they do senior discounts and the cashier said that they do, after paying for two senior buffets and an adult buffet, I noticed on the receipt that 2 senior discounts were not applied. I can confronted the cashier about it and he seemed somewhat annoyed at the fact that I came back to complain about it. Not very good customer service! However, the food was good!

I am so surprised that there have been no current reviews for this location.
My son and I came through the drive thru on 7÷2÷14. I ordered the 2 piece dark meat meal. Got home and it was a leg and thigh that were so over cooked. The leg was not even bigger than a Blow Pop it seemed. Very disappointing as this place is very expensive. I expected way more quality. I also ordered a NON sweet tea and about choked to death on the sugar. I did not know my lunch was so crappy until I got home. Shame on me.
I am just glad that there are better places. Kind of pisses me off because KFC and other chicken places are so expensive and I could have at least received better quality elsewhere.

A KFC buffet… who would’ve ever thought they existed? I love fried chicken, and this place does not disappoint in providing original, extra crispy, and grilled chicken as part of their $ 8.99 buffet along with biscuits, corn, mash potatoes and even a little salad bar.
The only thing keeping this place from being completely and totally awesome is potato wedges and mac & cheese are not part of the buffet. This made me sad inside.

I can’t remember who told me that their local KFC didn’t have crispy anymore, but this KFC still sure does. They even have the new grilled chicken on their buffet! They’ve got all the sides and even a salad bar as well.
For a person like me who can eat his weight in chicken, this buffet will save you some mad cash for a smörgåsbord less than $ 10! If it seems there isn’t alot of chicken out there, just wait a few minutes because they’re constantly making and filling up the chicken trays as others have found out about this KFC goodness.
As I’m writing this I’m salivating from the memory of Original Recipe, making my own «bowl» with all the sides with the chicken, and hot biscuits with gooey honey. Muaaaaaaaahhhh.
