I have Tinnitus.
I went to a Billy Idol concert at Duke University in 1984 and had to leave just two songs into the set because it was so loud that I felt physically ill … and my ears have been ringing ever since. That’s 31 years of a high-​pitched ringing in my head. All day. All night. Forever.
Anyway, I pretty much knew that there was nothing that could be done for the ringing, but I had some possibly related issues I needed to explore so I made an appointment to see Dr. Ryan at DOPC … and she was Fabulous!
Check-​In was a breeze and everyone in the office was pleasant and professional.
Dr. Ryan was wonderful. She answered my questions, explained why things were as they were, and gave me some coping techniques.
I hope you never have to go see a doctor about your hearing, especially if it is related to Tinnitus, but if you need to make an appointment… I highly recommend Dr. Ryan.
