Discount Tire Store – Roy, UT

These guys cleaned up the mess that the riverdale store started on my car. Professional and courteous and didn’t charge me the difference when I had to return a pair of defective tires and upgraded to better tires. Above and beyond my expectations.

Usually I love this place but today was horrible. I walked in and there was no familiar faces, It was so busy and they were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I needed a quick nail repair on one tire they came out to look at the tire and was like oh you need to replace all but one of your tires they are bald. I let them know that I was only interested in getting the tire repaired. Well once everything was done they said it will be about 2 hrs. I understood they were slammed so I had someone come get me they said they would call when the car was ready this was around 1:30. Around 4:30 my husband called and asked what was taking so long they claimed they had called me but it just rang and rang. I did not receive a phone call! When I arrived there was no apology they handed me the key and told me to go get my car and pull it around so they could load the tire (my car was parked in the back of the store) for one I have never been to a tire store that made me go fetch my car. Then as I was ready to leave he made a lame sales pitch of we can beat any price. From this experience I’ll pay more for better customer service.

At the end of the road, tires are tires. Round masses of future playground material that give you 30,000 miles of scenery and windshield time. Tire stores, however, are where the rubber meets the road. Particularly the services that they offer and the manner in which they offer them.
This location of Discount Tire is always busy and the wait may be a few minutes longer. The folks in the shop are always running but they spend the time you need at the counter to let you make educated decisions. They work to get to «yes.»
One real perk I have noticed is they fix flats and repair tires free of charge, even if the perpetrator isn’t one of their own. It’s almost like they can see far enough ahead to realize current services might earn future business.
Trust me. Drive past the rest and visit the best.
