Tricho Salon Royal Oak

Rachelle is amazing! She has been doing my nails and my hair for over six years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else over her! She recently moved to Tricho Royal Oak, after owning her own salon and the transition has been great! I love the new salon, the décor is stunning! Rachelle is great at what she does, her nail art will forever blow me away! If you haven’t already tried her out, you should! You’re missing out!

I seriously love this place! It was first time going there and I’m a pretty picky person when it comes to my hair, but I found another guy who I’d trust with my hair. When I sat down Keith mentioned he had an idea for what he wanted to try and then half way through he had a new idea and I loved it!!! He was very professional and very easy to talk to. I’ll be coming back.

Went with my daughter while she got her haircut by Heather. She did an awesome job on my daughter’s hair! While waiting in the lobby, I was watching Melissa do her ‘Hollywood magic’ with peoples eyebrows – asked if she could squeeze me in on a busy Saturday and she could! I elected to tint my graying eyebrows and an arch – WOW what a difference! I’m hooked! Thanks Melissa!

I’ve been seeing Nick for cut and color for almost 2 years now and I wouldn’t trust my hair to anyone else.
I have very thick curly hair which many stylists have a hard time cutting to look good, but he does an amazing job. My hair looks great curly and sleek and polished when I straighten it. He’s also a genius with color! He always has new ideas and techniques to keep things fresh.
The salon itself is spacious, clean, and modern. They always have an assortment of snacks and other refreshments, which is nice when you’re there for a while.
An important thing to note is that the salon does not accept tips on credit cards, though they do have an ATM if you forget cash.

Heather is amazing for color and cut. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my blonde hair! Bring a photo in of what you’re looking for and she will make it happen.
Mellissa does the best brow shaping/​tinting. She totally transformed my eyebrows and gave me the look I was going for. The before and after photos are wild.
I highly recommend trying both of these girls!

I’ve followed Angela to Tricho from another salon because she’s just that good. Highlights always look incredible and I receive so many compliments!

Today was my first visit… Tanner did my highlights and cut. BEST COLOR EVER. He is an amazing colorist– great cut too. I’m so happy someone recommended this salon.

Judah has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost a year now and I can’t say enough good things about the quality of her work.
The staff is friendly, helpful and I love the new style inside the salon. I send my husband there to get his hair trimmed and he has also had a uniformly good experience.
I highly recommend this salon. I have used most of the services they offer and been pleased with the results every time.

Tricho offers hair services for people of all hair types. The stylist are pleasant and seasoned professionals. Most of the hair services are inexpensive ($$$).
The salon is spacious. It is designed with hardwood floors and rustic charm. The bathrooms need help. They are not clean and are too much like an employee’s bathroom than one for the customers. My husband saw a tootsie roll in the men’s toilet.
Minus the bathrooms, the salon meets most of my needs. The stylists provide hair services to diverse clientele. High end hair products are sold at affordable prices. The salon is located near a parking structure where the first 2-​hours are free.

Nick Moore-​Perez is the absolute best! I would not trust anyone else with my hair. He has helped me grow my hair out, when other stylists thought it could not be done. He is also amazing at working with blondes, keeping hair healthy throughout the process. Not to mention, he is fun and hilarious– he quickly became someone I consider a friend. You will be in great hands with Nick!

I’ve been helped by Anna, who went beyond my expectations. She doesn’t simply do your nails, she personally takes care of you. I strongly recommend booking your experience with this great technician.
The salon itself was full of friendly and helpful people. Very professional, which is hard to come by nowadays.
The location is big, clean, well designed and relaxing (yes! i felt relaxed in a hair salon for the first time in forever!). I was pleased to visit

Nail Services Review: Saying goodbye to an old favorite of a salon was easy thanks to my regular nail technician’s move to Tricho. I’ve been seeing the amazing ANNA for years now, so when I learned she was moving from Ferndale to Royal Oak, I was glad that my regular visits to MI for work allow me to visit her even more regularly than in the past.
Anna takes the art form of nail, hand, and foot care to a level I am willing to bet you never experienced at a typical «nail place.» Anna elevates her job to a true passion as an artist and treats each client as an individual. She is never in a hurry, she had studied hand/​foot massage, and carries special lotions, creams, and ointments that will smooth and soften even the roughest of heels. She never uses those nasty razors, and each nail file/​buffer is fresh for each client.
Now, let’s talk about her polishes. She obviously uses «3 Free» polishes and does not do acrylics/​shellac/​gel. She uses the best regular polish money can buy — my most recent visit she used «Cindi Naturals» on my toenails and fingernails — it’s a 5 – 7 coat process that leaves your polish intact for well over a week yet can still be removed with normal remover.
She’s funny, skilled, thorough, and client conscious. Seeing her is truly a relaxing experience, as she has her own oasis at the salon!
