An unexpected stop for us. We could have spent hours here. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. I think it is worth the stop and I am glad we turned around and went inside.

A great stop for Norman Rockwell fans! There are many represenations of his works, from his art done for nearly forgotten publications to his better known works. The gift shop is nice, too. The staff members were great!

This is vastly different than the museum in Stockbridge, MA. This is much more of a roadside attraction type of place. Admission is cheap, and the collection is about showing off as much Rockwell artwork as possible, not showing high quality original pieces. You’ll find old magazines and ads in frames. Some of the magazines still have address labels or library stamps on them. However this doesn’t detract from the value of the collection or the interest that you’ll have if you’re interested in Rockwell, American art, and/or American history. If you’re doing a road trip through Vermont, it is worth a stop!
