1 Antiques Direct imports furniture from all over the world. They have two locations — one showroom in the 57th Street Antique Mall complex, and a big ol’ warehouse full of great stuff about 15 minutes drive away. They sell antiques, vintage and reproduction furniture and will tell you which is which. All the prices seemed reasonable to me. We bought a mid-century Haywood-Wakefield style dining room table, six Queen Ann style chairs and a mahogany coffee table for a bargain… and we’ll be back! They list a lot of their inventory online so that you can get a sense of what they have before you go – but it’s much better in person and the staff is really nice. They’re genuinely good people who want to help if you ask for it – no pushy sales. Apparently they also hold auctions regularly too(as McCoy Auction Co.). If you need furniture(or vintage or antique stained glass architectural panels) this is a great source!
