I have been with Better Pool Service for over 6 months now and I have had nothing but excellent service. Steve always sends me a picture of the pool after each service and feedback if items need to be considered. A few times, I have forgotten to unlock my gate and he will work with me to come out the next day. Customer service has always been an important factor to me and I am happy to report that my services have been nothing short of «Excellent» service. I would recommend this company to anyone. I’m very pleased with the service the Steve provides. He personally comes out and services our pool rather than unlike other companies that send unexperienced employees. He takes before and after pictures to show that he was there. Recently I had my backyard remodeled and the pool became a mess from fallen tree branches. I called Steve and he was there in couple of hours to resolve the issue which was outside of his regular service call. Overall, very happy with the service he has provided and keeping our pool always clean.

I was referred to this company, he is totally unreliable. If he is not going to come he doesn’t let you know. He has showed up saying he couldn’t get in through my locked gate and left. Hello… I was home? Why didn’t you just knock! I let him no show 3 times then called it quits. His comments are a lie, I paid last month and sent a check for the two times he did come. Look at the recent Unilocal this year; exactly! Do not use him. Now he is harassing me via text for $ 15. Yeah, obviously his business is in desperate need of help.

After remodeling our pool, we hired Steve to do a «complete service.» All was well for the first six months but the winter service was terrible. We went almost 4 weeks without seeing him and had algae growing in the pool. When we contacted him, he said he was on vacation the week before which is understandable but doesn’t explain where he was the other three weeks. Coincidentally, we retired and were home so we are certain he never came. When we expressed our concerns, our next invoice just had a note that since we had paid a month in advance, our account was a zero balance and he never came by. Further, when he was working on the pool, he suggested re plumbing the filters and charged an additional fee of $ 100. Ever since he re plumbed the Polaris was not working properly and the pressure on the pump was high which will cause us to use filter cartridges much more quickly. It is now going to cost us $ 300 to fix what he did ! We would definitely not recommend him.

After having the same pool service for over 10 years we switched to Better Pool Service after we were solicited by Better Pool Service with a business card attached to our front door. On the first scheduled day of service BPS was a no-show. I called the owner, Steve F., and he explained that he had to attend his grandmother’s funeral. He went on to say that he would service our pool ASAP. That did not happen. Shortly after service began, Steve installed a new pool sweep as our old one was in disrepair. The new sweep worked correctly for about two weeks before a counterweight fell off the sweep which rendered it useless. I reported this to Steve. He told us that the pool filter needed to be cleaned in order for the sweep to work correctly. He said he was waiting for the pool sweep company to contact him about a warranty. That did not happen. I repaired the sweep myself. After I realized that Steve was not servicing our pool on a regularly scheduled basis, I started to keep a log of when he actually showed up to do his job. He notified us that our regular service day would change from Thursday to Wednesday. Then it changed from Wednesday to Monday. Regardless of which day he said he would service our pool, he did not service our pool. He cheated us out of at least two months of service. He did not do his job. It just did not happen. One time when I questioned Steve about his whereabouts he said that he attended a friend’s wedding, which was allowed by our«agreement». Another time he said that he took the week off on vacation as stated in our«agreement». I didn’t believe him. Steve F., the owner/operator of Better Pool Service, is a shady business operator and a RIPOFF who cannot be trusted. DONOT use Better Pool Service.

Better Pool Service(BPS) provides excellent service, our pool is always swim ready– clean and clear. Pricing is competitively set, I would argue that it is more bang for your buck, especially when you consider, there is no surprise up billing. You get the service you agreed to with no BS. Consistently providing maintenance and state of the art update options and written notice of pending issues which could impact your pool. We went with BPS after being frustrated with our previous provider, we have been with them for just over a year and it has been an absolute no hassle joy. Everyone with a pool knows how invaluable of a service that can be. Got a pool? Do yourself and your pool a favor and call Steve. After a few months of service, you will wonder why everything can’t be as effortless.
