Ver is a fun fitness instructor. Groups are small and friendly. He has a covered location at McKinley Park(at the garden center) and he knows what he’s doing. He’s super fit(he and his bro compete against each other all the time; that’s brotherly love for ya). If you’re a fan of heaving truck tires and towing locomotives with a bite-chain, this class prolly won’t do it for you. But if you like a fun group who enjoys working out together, and will often get together for breakfast afterward(Orphan’s, OH yeah), this might be the place for you. Youngest in our group is 23, oldest is 56. No one’s a former Navy SEAL — or for that matter, a Chris Farley lookalike — but the class seems to work well for everyone! And if you check Facebook(hurry, I think the deal ends Jan 4), you can get 6 weeks unlimited classes for $ 49. That’s less than 9 bucks a week; I spend more than that at Peet’s !

I’m on my seventh week of training with the Turlock Crew of BodyFoundry. I must say that it is the best training that I’ve ever done. I’m getting stronger, I’m trimming down, my muscles are getting confused and growing and I’m having lots of fund training with friends. Our coach, Richie, inspires us to push our bodies to it’s limits and gets us pumped during our sessions. It’s never boring and I find my self wanting to do more. Don’t get me wrong, I get my ass kicked on a daily basis I push myself to improve from the previous workout. We’ve adopted the NAVYSEAL motto for the Turlock Crew«The only easy day was yesterday.» I recommend any one in any fitness level to check out BodyFoundry and I guarantee that they’ll be hooked. Don’t bring your negative attitude but do bring your CANDO attitude and you’ll notice a big change.

This BOOTCAMP(«A general conditioning class focusing on strength, cardiovascular, and core for fat loss goal. Classes are never the same and are progressively challenging every week!») is taught by Ver Ryan Lorega. The group meets at the Gardens and Arts Center at McKinley Park every M-Sat. Bring a mat and some weights(make sure they’re not too heavy or you’ll be struggling to complete your reps) I signed up for 5 weeks through an Amazon deal. It was my first boot camp experience and I was a little worried that it would be too hard for me. Well, I completed my 5 weeks and although it was challenging, Ver makes it so that you can go at your level of ability. The warm-ups are always the toughest then you move into some weight exercises and end it with abs. Ver varies the workouts so I was never bored doing the same thing every week and was always challenged. If you want to try a boot camp, I recommend BodyFoundry! You will want to go and you’ll see results if you push yourself and do the exercises correctly. Ver is very good at what he does. I am definitely going to continue going to his boot camps.
