Dairy Queen

You know? It really isn’t that bad!

I don’t know quite how to explain it, but Dairy Cream ice cream is hard to re-​produce in a «grocery store» context.
COMPARISONS
I mean, when it comes to the ice cream purchases I make at Raley’s or Safeway or Bel Air, etc. etc., you have the major options such as Bryers and Dryers and all the other brand options, and these usually come in the gallon boxes or plastic containers. But nothing comes quite close to the creamy, soft-​serve goodness of Dairy Queen right out of their «magic-​machine»! ;^D
Their parfaits are to die for and what I usually for if at all. But their combo deals with burgers and fries can also be enticing at times (though I usually resist since when I’m on an ice-​cream craving, it is NOT for burgers and fries).
THE LOWDOWN
For the price and taste of what it provides, it still is a nice ice cream treat.

DQ! I miss these. I used to eat them so much but it’s hard to find now.

5 stars for their blizzards, 1 star for their cheeseburgers. The cheeseburgers (2 for $ 2,22) are precooked, old and hard to chew on.
Stick to your skills Dairy Queen, and steer away from the non-​dairy. :) You wouldn’t go the Carls Jr. for a blizzard either, would you?

The guy that owns this spot is cool. Hella upbeat and happy to see your face. I ordered a burger and my girl ordered a chicken sandwich. Both were awesome as usual with DQ burgers. I never really go there for the ice cream (I know I know, weird huh?)
All I can really say. I love their burgers. Good, but a bit pricy.

This place only gets three stars because the ice cream and blizzards are delicious. Everything else is okay but not that great (as is standard with Dairy Queen) and the whole concept of kustard (a ketchup/​mustard hybrid) is absolutely disgusting.

The grilled burgers here are gross… it’s pretty much the equivalent to licking a dirty grill, not that I’ve ever licked a grill, but that’s what I imagine it would taste like. The fries were okay, nothing outstanding. The prices are kind of expensive for what you get… maybe they should stick to making shakes and ice cream.
