David’s Bridal

Once again disappointed with the service at David’s Bridal.
My bridesmaid dress dress came in pretty close to their estimated date. They hung it up in the dressing room for me to try on. I immediately noticed how wrinkled the dress was which I thought was strange since it was «new.» Since it was so wrinkled I looked it over before putting it on. The dress had a stain on the front! I looked on the inside of the dress and it looked dirty too. I immediately notified the sales associate before trying it on. He was very apologetic about the situation. However, another associate said, «I’m surprised you noticed.» I felt this was a very odd comment to make.
They are replacing the dress but they are cutting it close. The wedding is in May and the dress won’t get here until mid-​April. I still have to make several alterations to the dress! Since it was their mistake it would have been nice if they could have put a rush on it.
The district manager also never contacted me about what happened last time. He replied to my Unilocal saying he would and I emailed him but I never heard back.
The bride and the other bridesmaids bought their dresses in VA. They said their experiences have been great and had no problems. Maybe it is just this area and not all David Bridals.

I went to David’s Bridal in Arden and I had a fantastic experience! Justine was the lady who helped me pick out dresses, try them on, and make recommendations and she was the absolute best! She had a great bubbly personality, and so funny and she made me feel so comfortable to try anything and everything! She wasn’t just there grabbing random dresses trying to rush me to pick one, she took her time and I could tell she truly cared about what I was looking for, and the whole time she was exited for me and my experience! If you go to this David’s bridal I would ask for Justine again! She made my experience very memorable!

This process was extremely overwhelming for me!
Then I met Hedi! She was so amazing. She helped me with everything & anything I needed. i fell in love with my dress but it had a few flaws. She made sure she fixed them all & guess what??? I said yes to the dress! (:
Thank you Hedi for everything you did. You made the whole experience everything it was supposed to be! You deserve all 5 stars.

After visiting the Fresno location, my expectation for this location was low. The Sacramento location is a beautiful store with kind employees. Kaitlin was my consultant and she was incredibly patient with me. I was there to try on the dress I had just purchased at the Fresno location. I had second thoughts and wanted to try on another dress I had my eye on. Kaitlin let me try on the dresses, she gave me some good feedback and had alterations give me some feedback. Then she walked me through the process of getting an exchange through Fresno. She did not gain anything out of my visit, but her service was outstanding. Nervous brides should feel free to shop here! I will be using their alterations because they work with these styles all the time and they have flat rates.
They do juggle about two brides at a time. My Fresno consultant left me waiting for long periods of time, but with Kaitlin I felt like she was with me the whole time. That is an art!

Not going to lie: I went into this David’s Bridal not expecting much.
My first time visiting any bridal store was a «quick trip» to David’s Roseville location with a friend to pick up her undergarments. It was my personal idea of hell, and she wasn’t even trying on dresses.
Thankfully, not so at this location.
I was lucky to have Kaitlin as my first assistant. She’s super helpful and responsive to your wants and opinions (even if you’re like me and have to figure that out as you try on dresses). She adds a layer of humor to your visit and just makes things fun. That goes a long way for someone like me who was nervous about trying on dresses and having all attention aimed at me.
My only beef with David’s Bridal is that in general, the assistants seem to be juggling so many clients at a time that I spent a good amount of my appointments just waiting, which wasn’t the case at other bridal boutiques.
