Del Taco

It was 11:34 when we entered this drive thru. It is now half an hour later, and we are STILL. HERE.
Yes, that is correct. I’m writing this while waiting for my food. It has literally taken 15 minutes per car, and we are still two cars away from getting our food. What is going on in there? Is there one employee handling everything? Are the employees having nap time? Seriously! Get your shit together! I could’ve come in and made the burritos myself at this rate! WTF

Used to come here a lot and knew everyone. Finally came back again met someone new name Guadalupe. Excellent guest service she has. Greeted me with huge smile, order skills was very good she was just all around very helpful. Everyone else in the store didn’t notice me. Knew crew they have now just okay. 3 stars for the store. 5 stars for Guadalupe

There are always so much mix reviews when it comes to a fast food restaurant. I just had to write a post! Chicken soft tacos all the way! And their crinkle fries. Yum. A little salty sometimes. Hit and miss. But I love fries… so I can’t complain too much. I come here quite often since it’s close by my work, and of course, balling on a budget. And I love spicy food, and boy, is there ‘hot’ sauce packets hot! I get my spice fix. They’re stingy with their hot sauce when you go through drive thru. They literally give you a packet per taco. Why?!!

I tried to avoid writing a review for this location but I hope this can give some advice to the business in some way.
I never had a problem with this location service wise. Its the food though lately these past 2 months or so thats been bothering me and tonight marks the last time I plan on visiting this Del Taco.
The chicken and beef always comes with «old freezer burn» smell. Ive gone back hoping things will be better that maybe, it was just a bad visit I made. But this del taco has dissapointed me again…
I am now in between running to the restroom and my room writing this post (sorry too much info…) with what it feels like to be food poisoning. It seems that tonight’s order I recieved a bad batch or this del taco its going down hill… So sad that this will be the last time I order here…
I give this review a 2 star because of how good this place used to be just a few months to a year ago. I dont get it…

Ok so when you get inside the people standing around being loud are just the friends of the employees. I guess they weren’t raised with manners. They wait for their friends to take a break. Then they go outside the front door and smoke weed. I got the biggest contact high the other night. I have no idea who manages this place but it’s a club house for stoners.

Haven’t tried the food here. Ordered it about 20 min ago… trapped in the drive thru… first time eating here. doubt it’s going to be worth it. At this point just hoping the food doesn’t make me sick.

Today I went to Del Taco, I went through the drive-​thru, I ordered 3 fish tacos, a chicken quesadilla, and a taco salad. I only counted 4 items in my bag. I told the large lady something was missing. She said there were 3 fish tacos, a chicken quesadilla, and a taco salad in my bag. I got home, emptied the bag and discovered… she forgot my chicken quesadilla!!!

Every time we go to Del Taco’s drive-​thru we’re always ‘greeted’ with, «Hi, please hold on.» And a five minute wait, even when they’re not busy. The food isn’t bad, I love their strawberry milkshake, best one yet! But, the service is always bad, we’re always being rushed when ordering, interrupted with «your total is.» When we haven’t even finished our order! Once we pull up to the window, usually an employee just opens the window and sticks their hand out for the payment without greeting and we begin to wait for our food. I don’t mind waiting, I understand you guys are cooking the food, but after our 10 minutes of waiting, we receive our order. Our wrong order. We say Medium Sprite and they hear Medium Fry. We say Chicken Jack Quesadilla, we get a regular quesadilla. Maybe you guys should get a better speaker. I really love Del Taco and don’t want to have to dread coming there because of bad service. I hope you guys can fix this.

They have a great dollar and under menu that no fast food chains really sport anymore. The food was nothing to write home about but it was good nonetheless. I love that they have ground turkey instead of ground beef if you want to eat healthier. Plus their strawberry lemonade was bomb.

The meat on the taco and burrito was gross will never eat here again. I guess it’s an acquired taste.

Not sure why everyone is hating.
This del taco is just like the rest.
Fast, cheap, clean, and consistent.
Can’t go wrong with chicke soft tacos.
We always hit this location up after a night downtown. :)

I like there food but on taco Tuesday they don’t put any meat on the tacos. But taco Thursday is way better. They are friendly and good service.

I have always loved del taco. When i lived in southern california i had a del taco right next door and went every chance i had. When i moved back to northern California i thought i would never get it again until i found out they had del taco in sacramento. I was excided to go again but when i went to this one at first i thought it was just really busy but then 15 minutes later with only three cars ahead of me i finally got to order but the ppl taking my order couldnt get my order right after making me wait 5 minutes at the speaker before i could tell them what i wanted. So i finally place my order and wait another 20 minutes before getting to the window. Waited yet again another 7 minutes at the window before they give me my food. So naturally i pull into a parking spot and check to make sure they got my food right which thankfully they did cuz i did not feel like going in and complaining cuz i was not in a good mood. But the burritos were slopped together and trying to eat in the car with food that is falling apart is not fun or easy. And the only filled the fries half full and put so little toppings on the macho nachos that half the chips where left with no toppings at all. I am so disappointed that i will never go back to that del taco again. It was the worst experiance i have ever had anywhere. If i could give them no stars i would.

Got the new verde nachos and chili cheese nachos off the buck and under menu. Both really good! Still cant find anything worth complaining about. Love this place!

I usually have no issues with the service here, but the other day I waited 5 mins in the drive thru on my way to work. No biggie, first time for everything.
Today however, I saw, three employees «on break» in the dining room and only two working behind the counter. I waited 7 mins before someone took my order, the girl on the drive thru was doing her best to keep up, but couldn’t the lead in the dining room see she needed help?
I remember when I worked in fast food, sometimes you come in off your break early to help out, and finish it later. Especially when a line is forming and you know there are only two ppl behind the counter.
No adults were working either, at least they all looked to be teenagers. Not my best experience.

I’ve been to this location many times, and always use their drive-​thru. I’ve never had an issue until last night. I ordered some tacos and value bean-​and-​cheese burritos, and one was fine. Working on the second burrito, I bit into something hard, and to my horror, pulled a bone out of my mouth (it looked like a chicken bone). I was already far enough away from the location that it wasn’t worth turning back, but I thought I’d call the store to let the manager know. He was rude, and told me «this can’t be”-implying I was lying about the bone that I almost choked on. Ridiculous. I just wanted to let them know so another customer wouldn’t end up choking on a bone, as I almost did. I will never go back!!!

Buy one get one free coupons. Got two spicy pepper jack cheese and two bean and cheese burritos for under $ 5.
And the customer service is excellent.

If you’re looking for good quality Mexican food this is not for you. This is where I’d always go to on Tuesdays for Taco Tuesday during college. It’s a great place to go if you’re tight on money and just want to put food in your stomach.
On Taco Tuesdays you get 3 tacos for $ 1. Or you can get 3 deluxe tacos (double the meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato) for $ 2. How can you complain about that? Seriously. Of course the quality isn’t going to be great but hey, it’s cheap!
I always used to go with my friends on Tuesdays and have eating competitions to see who could eat the most. I can’t remember the most I could eat but I believe it was either 18 or 21. How much can you eat?! #collegelife #brokecollegestudents #beastmode

The staff is very friendly and helpful at this Del Taco.
Victoria is very sweet, she always remembers me and knows my order (I change a few things, such as add green sauce, no red sauce, one tortilla on the 5 layer burrito, etc…).
Food is always hot and made to order.

Other than being a part of the driving nightmare known as the Natomas Marketplace, this Del Taco is a cut above the rest.
Drive thru operators have always been very professional, even helping you out when you order («regular taco? Great choice, they’re .39 today»). I’ve never had any problems with the food or my order being incorrect.
