My favorite donut place so moist and soft. I love it more than Krispy Kremes! The custard donut is the best!

I didn’t get to try their donut holes, but their donuts were super fluffy and moist. If I liked their donuts, I can’t wait to try their donut holes. Perfect flavor although they don’t have many selections, I prefer the simple glazed anyway.

Donuts are definitely a weakness of mine, and since I live so close to this shop I love to indulge in these delicious donuts every so often. They make delicious donuts and have a wide variety! I recommend trying them out, you won’t regret it!

The Donut Holes made here are the best around town. I have had donut holes from different donuts shops and the ones made here beat the other donut shops in Sacramento. If you are looking for something sweet, tasteful, and light, then come to Delta Donuts and pick up a dozen or two of their donut holes.

Good selection and service. The people running it are always friendly. The donuts are good! Nice little hole in the wall in South Sac. Nothing fancy, but what they have is excellent. They have really good crullers and their donut holes are delish. The cake doughnuts are not greasy either. Just right. Don’t be put off by the location, just go. It’s worth it.

Very good strawberry and blueberry fritters and donuts! Homemade and good quality. I am visiting on business, however my local colleagues frequent the shop quite often. Seems to mom and pop operation, and they are very nice owners. They appreciate repeat business and remember what the regulars order…

I usually come here to pick up some donut holes. Though they are really nothing special compared to other donut shops, they are still very good donut holes. The woman who works behind the corner is very nice and respectful and is one of the reasons why I enjoy coming here. Her excellent customer service is what takes this ordinary donut shop into something nice. The actual establishment is very small, so in the case that you’re travelling in a group and looking for a place to sit and relax, beware. I’d say that it can seat maybe 6 – 8 people, but there are usually people already there enjoying their food.

I have been to Delta Donuts at least a hundred times in the last ten years. There is nothing special about their donuts. As a matter of fact they taste just like donuts without a WOW factor. It seems to me that most donut shops have donuts that taste just like donut without a WOW factor. Every single one of the over a hundred times I have been there with my friend he has always ordered an old fashioned glazed donut(the man has never deviated a single time) and the same lady always takes our order, and she still can not figure out what he is going to order. Lady, this is not rocket science. Almost every time we have gone there over the last six months or more there has been the same four guys hogging up the few tables they have in this little donut shop. They are together, but instead of all of them sitting at one table so that other patrons can have a place to sit, they each take a table and then they sit there and talk across the room to each other. Usually they are finished with their donut and coffee so they do not even have a valid reason to be there. It has gotten to the point that we have given up and have been going elsewhere. Unfortunately, my good friend has since moved into a convolescent hospital and I have lost track of him. I would love to find him so I could take him to have a doughnut some time.

I love dealt donuts. I used to stop there once or twice a month on Friday mornings and pick up donuts for my co-workers, but after several comments«OMG, who brought in donuts… I am on a DIET!» I stopped bringing in donuts for my work; so now I will stop in at delta every once in a blue moon on my way to work to myself up a treat. Donuts are so freaking fresh and yummy almost impossible to just eat one! There are only a few great donuts stores. LOVEDELTADONUTS!!! O.O.O.O SOGOOD!

4 stars, ok. so I contradicted my 3-star-donut rule, it got that extra star because I live near it… HA! Amanda H, clearly explained the goodness of this small bakery inbetween SUBWAY and BLOCKBUSTER. Again… ASIANOWNED… meaning that they have BOMBDONUTS. haha… ok maybe I’m over exagerating the Asian owned stuff, but, for some weird reason, it tastes better… :P Yes, the lady across the counter is funny and may strike a conversation… no worries, she doesn’t bite hehe. EDIT — -TODAY 4−11−08 Did I mention Donut Holes? We all love donut holes yes? I forgot the deal Delta Donut has, but its pretty worth it in my opinion… it’s like a «suckkkkkker» price I believe… A buck something for 2 dozen donut holes… LOL!!! Now pop that in your mouth with some chocolate milk!: 9

Frankly said, I am not a star-whore. I do not give out high rankings lightly, but I would give Delta Donuts a 3.5 star rating — if only Unilocal stars came in half commodities. *sigh* I digress… These donuts are spectacular — light and airy — and not overly greasy. This may just be my imagination but the chocolate seems less sicky-sweet than your typical mom-n-pop joint. Which is what I also adore about Delta Donuts — the owner/operator is a doll. Chat her up — she’ll respond to what you give her. For me, I knew it was love when she didn’t charge me extra for including one filled donut in my mixed dozen. Fellow Power Inn Road commuters will enjoy this quick detour. Particularly now that the Krispy Kreme in Elk Grove has closed its doors. Sad times, I know. Am Ex users: as with all too many local joints, our silver card is not accepted here. Don’t hate though. Cheer up and eat a donut. I recommend the chocolate bar.
