I was referred to this doctor. Im 67 and i have arthritis in my back shoulders knees neck and visibly in my right and left fingers. My primary doctor sent my records. I am currently on Meloxicam. My prior rheumatologist is retiring so I need a new one. He did not authorize my appointment by stating there is no prof of my having arthritis. REALLY. AREYOUKIDDINGME. I said Ill come by your office and one look at my hands will prove it. The office staff said he still wont see me as a new patient. Bad.

I was and still am in shock that Dr. Roberts hasn’t had any Unilocal reviews as well as that there isn’t a lot about him easily found when performing a Google search… Amazing physicians are truly a rarity in this world… I suspect that my perspective may be rather unique and maybe even misunderstood yet I’ve learned that it’s when a person becomes unwell and stays that way for a lengthy period of time that it’s possible to find appreciation in the specialness of people. Such as Dr. Roberts who is a Rheumatology medical doctor aka: Rheumatologist. After struggling and feeling so ill for nearly two years now I was referred to a rheumatologist by my primary care physician. Having him as my physician has given me hope and peace of mind as he doesn’t limit me or himself to think strictly inside small boxes but instead takes a gentle yet progressive approach to help this patient; me… Here’s what I love about him: ~ Peaceful office setting located in the Arden Arcade and Fair Oaks Blvd area off of University Avenue. He’s located inside of a large medical complex which also houses a Unilab laboratory, Sutter imaging, mom n pop coffee bar as well as multitudes of other medical offices. ~ FREE wifi. It works. You must watch a short advertisement video to gain access to it on your phone as its provided by a pharmaceutical company I believe but it’s still a value and I use it. ~ FREE private parking lot which is spacious ~ Runs on time. His office runs on time and I appreciate this. ~ He accepts HMO private insurance. ~ Doesn’t chronically overbook his schedule like 99% of physicians seem to do these days allowing 10 – 15 minutes for each patient. This is priceless to me as I don’t feel at all rushed nor am I surrounded by an over congested waiting area with screaming kids and poorly mannered humans. Priceless and peaceful are the results of this practice. ~ Dr. Roberts is highly educated and knowledgable in his field as well as other fields of medicine, therapeutic modalities and possesses an invaluable trait: common sense. He does this in a respectful, humble and gentle manner which is devoid of arrogance, condescension and or self-righteousness. Yet he’s confident. It’s a beautiful blend of traits to find in a medical physician. He’s super easy to talk with, to and he listens… Also a rarity. He gets hands on and actually examines you and notes subtleties in one which other professionals may not. This is also key. Not sure what else to say so will close out that I trust this doctor and the way he runs his medical practice business and so far couldn’t be more satisfied. ;)
