Chris is probably one of the best owners I know!!! Hands down I will never go to another supplement shop in town .you even get a free protein bar when you check in!!!

Came here on a whim after reading the reviews to get some multivitamins and protein. Left with over $ 400 in supplements! The owner (Chris)took the time to chat with me and ask me about my fitness goals and what I was hoping to do. Came up with a plan and then recommended specific items to help me reach my goals. He was very friendly and knowledgable. Felt like talking to a longtime buddy. 2 months later, the results are undeniable. I feel great and look even better. A lot of the credit goes to five star. Chris even took the time to check in with me to see how I was doing with the plan. I can’t recommend this place and the products they push enough. Thanks five star for turning my life around!

Fivestar is always stocked with the my favorite proteins and Quest bars. They were also the first place in town to have that new white cherry icee Vaper All Workout! Can’t wait for that fall apparel drop!

In a world full of «lose weight now ask me how» types it is nice to know of a local business that has the knowledge and products that can get you the results you are looking for. The staff is fun, friendly and very knowledgable. One thing I like the most is the assortment of items they sell. They have a huge selection of Intek protein (cookies&cream my personal favorite) and Pro Action chocolate covered strawberry is the.
Aside from their huge stock and awesome deals they also offer a nutrition plan that will fit your fitness goals. When they first opened I was set up by Chris with said plan and have achieved a massive weight loss and gained a love for bettering my knowledge and understanding of my body.
It’s nice to know a locally operated and owned business has everything and more you can want or need. Recently I’ve been buying their Vapor all in one pre workout and I love it. Get the pump I want without the crash like most out there.

Went in there for Intek Protein because it is impossible to find anywhere locally. Fivestar has a lot of products that you can’t find at other shops including Quest bars for only $ 24 a box. That is cheaper than online so I will definitely be coming here more often. The other thing I like a lot about Fivestar is they have a great looking staff. Eye candy for daysssss. By the way if you get a chance ask for this product called Vaper. It comes in white cherry icee flavor and it is the bestttttttt everrrrrrr!!!

Been going to Fivestar since they opened in Greenhaven. Chris and everyone I’ve spoken to in there is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful.
I’ve witnessed the same exact in detail and helpful customer service for beginners to advanced weightlifters. While this sounds like it should be a given at any retail store, the gym atmosphere can be intimidating to beginners and many larger chain or supplement stores don’t lend themselves to fight that stereotype.
I go to Fivestar for all my supplements and vitamins: pre-​workout, protein, BCAA’s, you name it. I’m moving to San Diego, but plan to keep my business through them by ordering online. Highly recommend!

but seriously… I don’t usually shop at nutrition stores, therefore I must proclaim fivestar nutrition is the best in its craft.
I first started going to their other location in Pocket, but now they are centrally located in Sacramento, in Midtown/​East Sac. The store is slightly bigger and the display on the outside gives it a good vibe. Every time you enter the store the manager, Chris, greets you with a smile and is always openi to answering any questions you have. This guy is yoked aka swoll aka ripped, you can tell he’s been putting hard work in the gym for years. He’s the type of guy YOU WANT to get advice from, he’s not your typical overweight 24 hr fitness representative that say they are a «personal trainer.» This guy really knows his stuff, and is genuine in wanting to help others achieve their fitness goals. Every product he sells, he can break down and explain to you the function of the supplement and how it will impact your workout.
I highly recommend this nutrition store, it’s the best in Sacramento. This place is the only store to sell Intek Evolution protein, which is what I come here for. It’s a pure protein with very little fat and added substances. There are so many different products out there nowadays, Chris really does his research and backs his products, which again shows how he’s so knowledgeable. The products and supplements here are high quality, so the prices are going to be a little bit more expensive, just a side note.
This place has excellent customer service, great products/​supplements, and most importantly MASSIVE GAINZ.

This store is HANDS DOWN the dopest supplement store in Sac! They always have the best products and coolest apparel designs. Very knowledgable on all their product whenever I don’t know what I should be taking or what to take next for more gains. There is no supplement shop like this in Sacramento. All the guys working there (especially the blonde guy) are all very cool. Glad to have a new store in east sac so I don’t have to drive as far. If you haven’t stopped in there yet, check em out!

Does not get any better than this! Great products great pricing with a even better staff! Chris was supper helpful. Rather than trying to push a certain product he actually asked what I was wanting to gain/​or loose in my matter followed by some good advice and a few recommendations. I recently moved to Sac from Davis and was looking for a gym to join. Guess what? Fivestar had a promo going on where I was able to try out like 10 or so local gyms for a few weeks for free! I’ve got these guys in my phone book and will keep coming back to keep up with the new and improved Mark! Thanks guys!

I’ve never had a better experience at a nutrition store. The owner, I think his name was Chris, was super friendly and spent over an hour with me. He wrote up a specialized meal plan for the gains in muscle and loss in fat that I wanted to see. He also gave me recommendations for supplements that would help get me there faster.
In the first 30 days I have lost 15 lbs of fat and gained 5 pounds of muscle. I couldn’t be happier and thanks Fivestar for changing my life.
