This was my first colonic therapy ever. I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but was very pleased with the entire experience. Tamara was my therapist and she really knows her stuff. Made me feel at home, welcome, very personable and friendly. Also very knowledgeable on the art and science of what she does. She knows a lot about food and diet and what it does to our bodies. I found the conversation insightful and educational. It wasn’t painful at all, just felt very cleansing.

I really wanted to like this place. It’s seems most of the reviews are accurate. The first thing I noticed was the smell. It doesn’t smell bad, but it definitely doesn’t smell good. Also, waiting room is VERY small. I arrived early because I drove from out of town and didn’t feel line wandering around Sacramento. I went in, sat down, and completed the questionnaire. Tamara came out right on time and took me to the back room. Everything was ok at first… until she left me on the table. Only for a couple of minutes or so, but she did it three times! About half way through my session, she had me go use the restroom. When I was in there she said«I put your belongings outside the door» um… what?! We were only about 35 minutes in to my 60 minute session at that point. She said she forgot she had another client. It definitely wasn’t a complete treatment and I felt just as gross as I did when I walked in, if not more so. I didn’t have that feeling you get after a good colonic. I’d give 1 star, but as a person, Tamara is full of knowledge and as sweet as they come. She just isn’t a very good colon hydrotherapist

I’ve been to several colon hydro-therapists in this area and this is by far my favorite. The space is very clean and comfortable, and very well run. The ladies here really have their system down. Also the room set-up is awesome, with an automatic adjusting bed, and professional massager, which I really appreciate. Dawn is amazing! Super knowledgeable and personable and really knows what she’s doing. I’ve had incredible results working with her(I had purchased a 5-package through another outfit in the area and it was useless, I actually didn’t go back for three of the five sessions). I actually look forward to my appointment each week, something I never thought I’d say about a colonic. Dawn somehow makes it an enjoyable process. It also don’t hurt that she’s super funny. I’ve even lost quite a bit of weight from my colonic sessions, which is awesome. My main intention was mostly to improve my health overall, but the weight loss has been a total benefit. I would definitely suggest buying a package of some sort. It takes several sessions to really get the benefits(kind of like acupuncture), although one is better than none. I start my third package next week, with the goal of eventually purging the black mucous lining(If you don’t know what that is, look it up… everyone has one!).

Don’t know where to start from I went to get the service last Tuesday she did a terrible job on me she left me in the room by myself to attend another patient I was in the pain for 5 minutes sounds like I am in the labor pain I had colonics before but never like this she was very unprofessional I had to scream out to let her know that I am in the pain my husband was outside he was so scared that I was going to die or something I understand that she had another client but don’t overbook yourself were you can take care of your one client .l was very uncomfortable I just didn’t understand the fact she left the tube in me and my stomach was full with water and I am little to begin with how can you just leave me by myself when I don’t know how to help myself I literally have to scream I wish I could give her 0 star her name was dawn she was terrible she’s horrible I would never tell anybody to go waste their money for that kind of terrible service.

I absolutely loved my colonic. I have been two times now. It was something I wanted to do as my 30th birthday approached and Lord knows all the waste I’ve built up in my 20s! So I decided to have a detox day and saw Tamara for my very first colonic. She was friendly when she greeted me, and the facilities were very clean. Tamara made me feel comfortable, which is an art when the person on the table, aka myself, was freaking out about a tube going up into places the sun doesn’t shine and then pooping in front of a complete stranger. While the colonic was happening, she also provided some education on poo, and food and our bodies and how it all ties together. It was really helpful information. She provided some great insight and feedback on my own poo(something to check off my bucket list?) which gave me some direction of how I wanted to change some of my eating habits. The process is very contained, clean, and wasn’t painful. Some cramping before bowel movements but she prepared me ahead of time that it may occur. Went in for my second colonic a week later since the first one was a positive experience. And this one was better! After eating better for a week the colonic was way more effective and Tamara noticed a big(positive) difference in my poo!(Did I just brag about my poo on Unilocal?Yeesh someone get me a life quick) anyways I knew that the difference had a lot to do with her education and feedback from the first one. Tamra is a genuine healer, in the business to help people get closer to being healthy and feeling happy. She has a great sense of humor and is approachable. After both colonics I felt exactly like she said I would so there were no surprises. I felt tired after the first one and took a glorious nap. I definitely had a great experience both times… They only took my poo but I got to keep my dignity, which is a good start to my 30s I think! All jokes aside this was worth the money and I went ahead and bought a package so I can get the most out of the colonic experience. If you are trying to get closer to health and happiness, a colonic is a great way to help you along the way.

I had my first colonic with Dawn and I left a believer. I was very nervous at first but Dawn put me at ease. When it was over I felt like a whole new person. I can’t wait until my next session.

Thanks to Tamara my first colonic experience was AWESOME! At first I was nervous and extremely tensed about doing a colonic but Tamara explained the process to me which made me feel comfortable. When I finally felt relaxed everything just flowed well. Today I feel GREAT! I’m looking forward to my next session =)

I have been a client of Tamara’s for around 3 years now. Tamara is caring and enthusiastic about helping people. I know people are sceptic of colonics. If you are go see Tamara or Dawn they are extremely knowledgeable on Healthy eating, colon therapy and much more. Fountain of Health is clean, safe and inviting. They provide a variety of services not just colon therapy. I would highly recommend Tamara at Fountain of Health to anyone looking for improving your health or hydrating your colon ;)

Fountain of Health offers a lot of cool services and really wants to be a great resource for health. They offer free seminars. You can see their owner, Dawn Throne, has a great passion for wellness in building such a business. It was a little uncomfortable to sit in the waiting room and listen to Dawn and the staff. It was like a parent telling kids what to do and how it’s supposed to be. Going to Fountain of Health may be pricey. Interestingly enough you can buy a membership for $ 150 which gets you a percentage off their products and a special member’s price for their services. I bought a supplement on which the front desk lady was to write some instructions on for me and never did. I didn’t notice until I was home. Which makes me think that maybe i’m better off with a smaller operation.
