Dr. Diez is the most aggressive, unprofessional and incompetent«dentist» I have ever come across. She had no clue what service she was going to give me and had not even looked at my chart, even though she saw me last time. I asked her what tooth she was going to look at and she immediately said«I don’t know» in a very condescending and rude way. She asked me to tell her what to do. I reminded her that she was supposed to narrow down some teeth because I had dysplasia and asked her how much she was going to narrow down. She had my xrays sitting right in front of her and still had no clue how she was going to proceed. After that I asked her how much she was going to narrow down she absolutely blew up. I said, well I’m just asking because I thought you would know(I thought to myself, she’s the expert right? Not me). As soon as I asked that question, she absolutely exploded and said«This situation is really upsetting me!!!» I was completely shocked at her response and told her I was simply asking because I am interested in my health and that she should be able to answer simple questions. I actually tried to calm her down. She went on to complain that I had way too high expectations and that she no longer felt comfortable. And that all of my questions were making her upset. I was like, what??? Nothing that I asked was out of the norm so it was completely surprising to see her response. Didn’t she go to school for this? If she feels incompetent maybe she should find another field. Wanting her patients to have low expectations is pretty lame and pathetic. As her patient you’re basically not allowed to ask questions and if you do be prepared for her aggressiveness and lack of knowledge. At the end I actually felt very insecure and told her I would be leaving. Her attitude was so off the roof she seemed like she was literally loosing it. You simply cannot trust your health to someone so incredibly unprofessional.

Should be ZERO Stars!!! Where do I begin? When I moved back to Sacramento last year I had to change the Dentist with our insurance plan. I kept getting several solicitation letters in the mail from Dr. Friz Diaz and since she was on my kid’s dental plan we chose to go with her. I called the first month to make an appointment for my kids to get their teeth cleaned. The receptionist told us we were not on the Health Net list, therefore they could not help us. I called Health Net and they assured me we were most definately on the«list». This went on for about two months before we could get in. When we arrived for their appointment, they refused to clean my youngest son’s teeth because he had braces. My older son said all the Dentist did was poke around and take x-rays. They never actually cleaned his teeth. About 6 months later, my yougest son’s orthodonist needed an xray of one tooth to see how it was progressing. I made the appointment with Diaz’s office and when we went in I was chastized like a small child. Dr. Diaz began interogating me as to why this x-ray was necessary. She continued going into a rampage about how our orthodontist must be incompetent for not having his own x-ray machine. Then her front desk staff took over where Dr. Diaz left off, speaking to me as if I committed some cardinal sin for requesting an x-ray for one tooth. The receptionist’s tone was very superior, extremely rude and condescending. I have never, ever been spoken to in such a manner, especially by individuals that are supposedly in a professional field. Our orthodontist who has been in the business since the 70’s basically said anyone with two hands can clean someone’s teeth with braces. Dr. Friz Diaz and her staff behaved extremely unprofessional and were completely incompetent.
