This review is for the listing agent, Bruce Hammer. I will write a separate review for the buying agent Rick Spencer.
I had initially found this company using a service called Agent Pronto which suggested 3 different companies for me to use to sell my current house. I found Bruce Hammer to be very professional and knowledgable when it came to the real estate market on the Natomas area and zero lot line houses (I owned a town home in the Riverdale North community which had a very small backyard and faced the freeway) which was very important to me because I knew it was going to be somewhat of a challenge to sell my house due to the size of the lot and the location. I had a specific price point I wanted to sell my house at and Bruce believed that price was realistic. It was my first time selling a house and had little knowledge of the process and was nervous about how long it would take and if we would have to reduce the price. Bruce made sure to explain every step in detail and answers every and all questions my husband and I had prior, during, and after the se of our home.
At times my husband and I questioned Bruce’s methods (he suggested no open houses since most houses don’t really sell due to one of those and it is more of a way for the agent to gain more clients). There were also a few pictures I wanted to add to my MLS that the photographer did not take (he did not really picture the features of the master bedroom and instead had a picture of just the corner and not the two closets, large windows, or overall size of the room. I do not know how much Bruce had control over what pictured exactly the photographer took, he could have provided him a list of shots and that was it) so I took them myself and Bruce added them with no problems (I would like to think that I was not a difficult client but I may have been lol). It was the most nerve racking experience waiting for the home to sell and it seemed to take forever but in reality, we got a full priced offer and went into escrow after just 8 days.
From there, I worked with Amber, the transaction coordinator to get all the inspections scheduled and additional documents and other tasks done. I had a very pleasant experience and would recommend using them to anyone selling their house.

My husband and I were referred to Golden State Realty. This was the best decision we could of ever made for our family! My husband was relocated out of state and we were desperate to sell our house. Golden State Realty took all of our worries away and sold our house even after we had moved. Living out of state the process was way to easy, I recommend Golden State Realty to everyone!!!
