IHOP

The food is good, service is good but when it’s slow it’s too quiet for the waitress to be so loud.

It might not be a five star restaurant but my family and I love this place. We come here several times a month.

Food was Ok Service so so. Only go there for pancakes for the kids

I’ve always enjoyed IHOP since I was younger. My dad and I came in on a pretty busy Saturday afternoon and we were attended very quickly, had no wait time. The service was incredible and the food was good. Definitely will come again.

Came in one night before class. Service was good, food was okay. No complaints… especially when we received a large discount off our tab ‘just because’!

I’ve been to this IHOP Numerous Times. I’ve never had a bad experience. Sometimes they can be a little slow. But all and all I enjoy going there.

Despite the low star average, I don’t have a low opinion about eating at this IHOP. The breakfasts have always been satisfactory as one would expect from a coffee shop style restaurant and you can have breakfast at any time of the day! If I’m not having my usual eggs, hash browns, and toast, then I’m having pancakes instead, which are always a traditional favorite. I just love the variety of flavored pancakes from fruit to chocolate! A nice selection of syrups are always on the table to choose from. Since my place of employment just happens to be conveniently located right across the street from them, we will occasionally go in together and order a mess of pancakes to eat in the morning before or during our early morning shift! The food stays nice and hot, and containers of syrup are generously placed in to-​go containers. Makes our jobs go a little smoother with a pancake pick-​me-​up! LOL!
I have tried the «Criss-​Croissants» that were a new and temporary addition to the menu, but they seemed a bit doughy. The fruit toppings were the only saving grace in my attempt at finishing this meal. Other than that, I like that their menu offers many delicious selections for any appetite whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner or desserts and coffee. The interior of the restaurant is a nice place to just hang out, relax with a friend or co-​worker and enjoy a meal after a long day at work…

In the Sacramento area, this is the IHOP of preference for me! I’ve never had any problems regarding the food or service. The waiters are always very nice and the food is good!
It is located in the middle of the Meadowview-​Pocket area and close to I5 so good location. Starbucks is right next to it.

Went here a couple nights ago. Order the chicken and waffles plate. Amazing! Chicken strips were yummy and the waffles were great. Clean place too. But the 5 stars go to Shayal the waitress. She was attentive, friendly, and efficient. Even with a semi busy night she took great care of our table.

Usually the service here is okay, and the food is okay, but tonight it was awesome! You should come when Justus k is on duty he’s such a good server. He’s quick, super friendly and always making sure that your always good. I got the chicken and waffles and this was the first time that the waffles weren’t soggy! The popcorn shrimp was also super yummy!

I ordered their eggs and they didnt fully cook it. Gave my stomach cramps. Also the pancake syrup is not even sweet. Its pointless calories. Smh avoid this place. All their workers are slow and thats why they make minimum wage and dont deserve any more than that.

I had the steak omelette. They had smothered it with cheese to hide how bad they cooked The omelette. Then when I head bite into the omelette the steak was clearly burnt. Like black dark pieces of stones in my omelette. I had the waitress send it back to the kitchen and then ordered some eggs sausage and hashbrowns. When I got my check they didn’t give me a discount on the steak omelette. I pretty much paid full price for the steak omelette I took one bite out of and the Second plate I got. Never coming here again.

This IHOP is close to home and is a pretty all around place to get any meal of the day at any time.
I don’t have too high of standards for this place but it servers its purpose. Food is decent and service varies depending on who servers me, I rarely see the same server so it’s been average to me.
–1 Star: Changed Menu
When my father and I last came here, as we’ve been coming to this place for years, we noticed that the menu had changed, in both design and content. This wouldn’t be a big thing but one of our favorite dishes was a health conscious dish that was pretty decently priced, not as filling and tasted great. We were greatly saddened to see it go. In fact, I think they took out a good portion of their healthy choice menu items.

Service was almost NON EXISTANT (which was sad seeing we were basically the only people there at the time). Also, I can’t begin to go off on how badly cooked my dish was. My Scrambled eggs were still gooey on the inside of the pile, hash browns were hard and burnt, bacon was burnt tasting, and my never ending pancakes were so bad, I wanted it to end. The first two pancakes looked like they were dropped on the counter, then sloppily put on the plate. The second two pancakes were still dough on the inside. We left as quick as possible from this hell whole of an iHop.
Also, they need to learn to ignore upset customers, at least we didn’t say anything and left nicely from that horrid place. Yet the employee’s (one waitress and obvious chef) were starring us down as we walked away to the car, and then proceeded to stare at us in the car. Bad service, bad food, and obvious DON’T COME BACK looks from the workers. Well no worries there, we will not be returning to this iHop.
This review has 1 star, but I wish I could give a zero.

Slow service, incompetent staff and dirty tables. It didn’t take us long to be seated but it took a lot longer than expected for our order to be taken and for the food to come out. The waitress also mixed up our orders and forgot certain parts back in the kitchen. There are plenty of other places in Sacramento to grab brunch, I would not recommend going here.

Don’t bother unless you just have to have a pancake.
The kid waiting on me in the black hoodie with shirt tail hanging out looked as if he was a left-​over from the night cleaning crew and took about as much interest in serving me as that.
Only one other customer in the early morning, but that was too much for the waiter.

Maybe the owner saw the bad reviews and decided to clean the place up. It was VERY clean. Food was good, in typical iHop fashion. The service was nice. My pancakes and eggs were done properly (I’m picky).

The worst IHOP! Sad to say because I’ve been coming here for years! Management showed how under pressure they were. Server kept letting people know beside us that sorry we are a little understaffed right now. Well tell miss manager to stop looking around at tables and start doing something! This was an awful experience. They need help here :/
Food: I use to love their waffles but today it was Blah!
Customer service: they need to improve but I feel bad for our waitress because it was all her doing like 8 tables!
Overall: I won’t be coming back here. Sorry, IHOP isn’t what it use to be.

Okay okay, I know what you’re thinking, «4 stars for an Ihop??» I know it’s strange but I am SIMPLY going off of my surprise factor from the tastiness. I work near this location and didn’t know if they served lunch or not so I figured why not give it a try.
It was very empty, don’t get me wrong, which is probably why My service was pretty quick. However, the staff was super friendly and welcoming upon my arrival. He even showed me the different options they have available for lunch on their menu. So why was I so surprised? I ordered the fish and chips… Yep the fish and chips. It comes with a basic iceberg salad, garlic bread, seasoned french fries and two pieces of Cod.
I do not know why it was tasty; I honestly don’t. I wouldn’t think of Ihop when I think of Fish and Chips. But the fish was fried perfectly, no crazy crunch or mushy crust complimented by tangy/​sweet tarter sauce. It was weird trust me; maybe the cook was just that good or something but even my worker went over one day and completely agreed with me. The fries were crisp and the salad was so-​so but it’s a salad. Also for only $ 11 – 13 I can’t complain too much for that little surprise.
