I started coming here in 2005. I love it:). You totally get a great work out. All you need is one class and you will be hook:).

Ok. So this place is A-Ok for me. If you’re in you’re late 30’s or 40’s you can definitely come to this place. Get you’re grove on to old school and new school music. This place was fun, but what it’s not what imagined. I took jazzercise when I was in high school and I just don’t picture it this way. But give it a try. It is a fun to get your grove one to. The ladies and the service was excellent! But I think I just needed a faster pace of exercise for me.

Just attended their first girls nite out, and never worked out harder or had so much fun. Jazzercises normal workout includes aerobic, weights, and mat work to upto date songs for a great workout too. Burn calories, get tone and healthy all in one hour. J.W.

I finally checked out Jazzercise by redeeming a Groupon I bought a couple months ago. I prepaid for 20 classes, and in my first week, I have already used 3 of them. First things first, it’s a great workout! Sure, I feel clumsy in the back of the class at times, but most of the routines are easy enough to pick up on the first or second repetition of the steps. Time goes REALLY fast when you’re focused so much on following the instructor’s directions. Most of the classes seem to incorporate the use of light free weights weights and sometimes mat work. If there is something you can’t do, just modify it. The instructors are pretty good at showing you an alternate way to do a move to make it lower impact, and if you don’t want to get on the floor, they’ll show you how to do things standing up. It’s your workout. Besides a great workout, the people who work there are impressively friendly. As a newbie, I was introduced to the instructor for my first class and a few of the support people who help with check-in and whatnot, and they gave me a really brief«tour»(the place isn’t really big enough to have a full-on«tour») of where the equipment and such is kept. I came back two days later for my second class, and the check-in lady remembered me by first name. Well, how about that? It wasn’t weird or creepy either — just friendly and sincere. The staff is genuinely welcoming. The people in the classes vary widely in fitness level, size, shape, age, etc. It does seem like the age trend is probably 40+, but despite being out of that demographic, I don’t feel out of place. I have seen a couple token men come to class, but most Jazzercisers tend to be women. People wear comfortable clothes, sometimes tight, somethings not. I haven’t seen a single leotard. It’s much more dignified than I imagine it used to be in the 80s. Minus a half star for the price. I understand they run specials from time to time, but if you want unlimited classes, the EFT is $ 42 per month plus a joining fee.(I do believe they’ll give you a freebie class if you just want to try it once and see if you like it.) For that monthly price, you can get a full-on gym membership somewhere, but it’s all about your preference. I’m going to use my 20 Groupon classes and see how I feel about it after that. I’ll gladly pay $ 42/month if it gives good results and I can stick with it. So we’ll see. Minus another half star because the facility is in an older strip mall that could use some updates. That said, it’s clean, and parking is never an issue. Anyway, it’s a fun-but-challenging workout that they say burns up to 600 calories per class. Try it. Even if you hate it, you’ll melt a little butter.
