I stepped in for the first time recently and immediately was greeted and made to feel right at home. Good vibes and good conversations from these gentleman. I got a clean fade by Mike and he gave me exactly what I asked for. I haven’t had a chance to get clipped by Gabe or David yet but I’m looking forward to it. I’m really picky about my hair and in all honesty I would let any of them fade me up. I felt comfortable like I was getting my hair cut in a friends garage. That’s real customer service! Not to mention their memorabilia is dope!

Anyone who can clean up a deep hole in the head to a fabulous fade & mohawk has my vote, very family friendly atmosphere.

Knock Out is the ONLY place I will get my hair cut in CA,
I have trust issues when it comes to who cuts my hair, as I do have a widows peak & receding hairline. I took a chance (and I am glad I did) when I first moved to the state last year (they do have great reviews across the board for good reason) and decided to walk in and see what they are about.
The place looks great! Old school vibe.
They make you feel comfortable, and at home (similar to how a classic diner like Johnny Rockets would in my opinion)
One of the best cuts I’ve ever had the first time going in.
Needless to say, I’ll keep coming back.

Named Knockout for the boxing memorabilia inside, from pictures of many boxing greats including our Sacramento Tony The Tiger Lopez to old boxing gloves and punching bags. There is even a Rock Em, Sock Em game.
3 barbers at your service doing the latest fades and carvings to classic hair styles. These guys aim to please. Always fun to kickback and wait your turn with great discussions about anything and everything.
Owned by Marine Gabriel — ret., they also support and contribute back to community. Look for them in car shows and fund raisers they also have an annual customer appreciation BBQ.
Parking is very limited but you get in and out quickly.
Even if your not a boxing fan, this is a barber shop (not a beauty salon) you must at least try.

Great community vibe in this shoppe. The barbers are professional and casual at the same time. Tell them what you need and they’ll take their time to ensure you walk out the door looking cleaned up and ready for whatever the day brings. The price of $ 13 for a men’s cut is reasonable, the $ 2 discount for military bring it to a downright economic $ 11 before tip.

Great cuts by great people. Everyone is friendly, and newcomers quickly become regulars. What «mans man» wouldn’t love this place?! They have a boxing theme with all kinds of vintage boxing memorabilia on the walls. Gabe (the owner) is a former Marine, and David is an artist at what he does. If your cool, they just might have a beer for you in the fridge :)

I visted Knock Out Barbershop yesterday for the first time, and I’m impressed. The barber, David, listened to what I wanted and was able to give me a great cut! Great atmosphere, great selection of magazines, and great barbers. All that was missing was a beer… otherwise, it felt like you were just hanging with the homies.
I definitely recommend this shop and will be returning in the future.

For the last 15 years (ouch, I’m OLD) I have been cutting my own hair as every hairstylist or barber butchered my hair. I figured I can butcher my own hair for free!
I was off on my daily run when I passed this place. After a week of running past, I decided to pop in and check it out. There is a lot of boxing memorabilia and even included local boxing figures, which was really cool.
The proprietor Gabby, is very friendly, laid back and good at his profession. He said he was just finishing up and could take me in a few.
As I waited a couple more people came in. I don’t know if this was the day to get your hair cut or if this was the norm. I don’t remember a barber shop having this much activity.
Anyway, Gabby listened to what I was looking for in a hair cut and executed masterfully! I believe the days of me cutting my hair are over!

Besides the memorabilia, which is sure to strike the interest of any sports fan, Gabe sets the atmosphere at the Knock Out Barber Shop. First of all, he is always happy to see you because every customer is a friend. Gabe has been cutting my hair long before he had the courage to step out during a down economy and start his own small business. Still, the competitive prices at Knock Out are boldly posted on the easy-​access parking lot out in front. From the moment I walk in, Gabe knows my cut. In fact, the day before a big job interview, I paid him a visit, walked out looking and feeling professional and, eventually got the job. Furthermore, without even coordinating together, I’ve since found out that my cousin takes his 2 young sons there and their uncle gets his cut at Knock Out frequently. Hands down, Knock Out Barber Shop is the place to be and Gabe is trusted by the family.

I have been going to Gabe for years. He is a great guy and I always get a great haircut. Awesome new shop, easy to find, you won’t be disappointed.
